Abstract

We examine the claim, made in the corpus of the 5D Solitonic Theory (TS5D), to derivequantum mechanics the Schrödinger equation, the Born rule, spin, entanglement, andthe Tsirelson bound 2√2 from a deterministic geometric substrate whose compact fthdimension e = S1/Z6 represents energy. We separate two levels of structure: (a) the discretequantum numbers (KaluzaKlein tower, topological sectors, spin-statistics sign), which thediscrete/abelian geometry provides; and (b) the Hilbert-space structure (complex superposition,SU(2) qubit, entanglement, 2√2), which it does not provide without further input. We establish, through four independent and complete demonstrations (local CHSH bound;Tsirelson bound; geometric quantization of S2; two-soliton correlation), that: (i) the qubit isrealizable without any new eld, as a topological sector of a KaluzaKlein monopole (Hopfbration, c1 = 1), but that no internal principle of TS5D forces it; (ii) the value 2√2 isnot derivable from a deterministic local substrate, because Bell's theorem is a theorem, nota circumventable empirical constraint. The defensible form of TS5D is a geometrized non-local Bohm: a deterministic, non-local theory whose 4D projection is quantum mechanics, the quantum content entering at two named, minimal points. The fth dimension e givesnon-locality a deterministic geometric mechanism, without rendering it local.Nature of the text. This is a foundational / clarication paper: it establishes the minimalconditions under which a deterministic 5D geometry can reproduce quantum mechanics, andthe theorem-level obstacles (Bell, Tsirelson, qubit topology, chirality, Born rule) that boundthem. It claims no new complete derivation.

Quantum Mechanics as Dimensional Projection: A Geometric Derivation from Compact Extra Dimensions

Abraham J. Letter

This paper proves that quantum mechanics emerges as a mathematical necessity when a deterministic classical system possesses compact Kähler dimensions inaccessible to observation. The proof rests on three independent results from established mathematics: Spectral discreteness: The spectral theorem for elliptic operators on compact manifolds guarantees a discrete eigenspectrum, producing superposition and complex phase structure. The uncertainty principle: The Gromov non-squeezing theorem establishes an irreducible lower bound on observable uncertainties, with Planck's constant identified as the symplectic capacity of the compact space. The Born rule: The unique Kähler-compatible L² inner product determines the probability rule P = |ψ|² with no alternatives. Together, these results demonstrate that the complete axiomatic structure of quantum mechanics — complex Hilbert space, superposition, interference, the uncertainty principle, the Born rule, and entanglement — is a necessary consequence of dimensional projection rather than a set of independent postulates. The paper further shows that: The complex numbers in quantum mechanics originate from the complex structure (J) of the compact manifold, providing a geometric explanation for recent experiments ruling out real-valued quantum mechanics (Renou et al., Nature 2021; Chen et al., PRL 2022). Unitary time evolution arises because the complex structure converts what would otherwise be dissipative dynamics into probability-preserving oscillation. The number field of quantum mechanics (real, complex, or quaternionic) is determined by the topology of the compact dimensions (Riemannian, Kähler, or hyperkähler respectively), making laboratory quantum experiments probes of extra-dimensional geometry. CPT symmetry corresponds to orientation-invariance of the compact manifold, connecting discrete symmetry tests to the topology of the extra dimensions. The theorem requires no physical assumptions beyond the existence of inaccessible compact Kähler dimensions. It applies to any number of dimensions, any compact Kähler geometry, and any deterministic dynamics. The paper concludes that quantum mechanics is not a law of nature but a law of perspective — the second such law in physics, following relativity. Where relativity revealed that the separation of spacetime into space and time is observer-dependent, this work shows that the separation of dynamics into deterministic and probabilistic is equally observer-dependent. Emergent Quantum Entanglement from Soliton Moduli-Space Topology: From the Hydrodynamic Spacetime Lagrangian to $|S|=2\sqrt{2}$

Maria Papanikolaou

We show that the hydrodynamic spacetime theory---a deterministic classical field theory in which spacetime is modelled as a causal viscous medium---contains within it the full structure of quantum entanglement, without any quantum-mechanical postulate. The mechanism is as follows. The theory admits topological solitons as particle-like excitations. In $1\!+\!1$D, we compute the Manton metric on the moduli space of two dark solitons and show it is non-product ($g_{12}\sim^{-1.3\,d/\xi}\neq 0$); the Gauss constraint adds a non-decaying long-range inter-region coupling. In $3\!+\!1$D, the solitons are Skyrmions with an $SO(3)$ orientational moduli space whose fundamental group is $\pi_1=\mathbb{Z}_2$ for odd baryon number. The Finkelstein--Rubinstein theorem then forces half-integer spin upon quantisation, yielding spin-$\tfrac12$ fermions. Two well-separated Skyrmions produce a Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}=\mathbb{C}^2\otimes\mathbb{C}^2$ that supports the singlet state with correlation $E(a,b)=-\cos(a-b)$ and CHSH value $|S|=2\sqrt{2}$. We show that the four necessary auxiliary conditions---the integrality condition of geometric quantisation, the Born rule, corrections beyond the product ansatz, and the physical interpretation of measurement---are either topologically protected, derivable from geometric quantisation and Gleason's theorem, or reducible to the SU(2) structure of the soliton--detector interaction. No quantum axiom is introduced at any stage.

A Topological Origin of Electromagnetism

Harvey Sang

Building on the Harvey space framework—a five-dimensional complex-time manifold with coordinates (t, τ, x, y, z) whose imaginary-time coordinate τ is compactified onto a circle S¹ = U(1) gauge fibre—we give the electromagnetic sector a single narrative line: Global topological conservation in complex time → Quantum non-locality (after projecting out τ) → Gauge symmetry (localising the phase reference) → Maxwell’s equations We delimit precisely what this geometry can and cannot derive through three core pillars: 1. Quantum Non-Locality, Malus's Law, and the Born Rule In the full five-dimensional manifold, there is no action at a distance: an entangled pair shares one global holomorphic circulation closed on the τ fibre, whose conservation is a local statement. No-Signalling: The "spooky" correlation is merely the residue left on the τ = 0 Minkowski slice, where the symplectic form ω = 2c² dt ∧ dτ vanishes and H_ω = 0 strictly enforces no-signalling. Correlations: Numerically, the spinor double cover reproduces the single-particle Malus's law cos²(θ/2). The literal closure of the τ loop (acting as a forward × backward branch) yields the Born rule |·|² as a direct geometric consequence, recovering the full quantum correlations up to the Tsirelson bound 2√2 (without sliding to the PR-box value of 4). 2. Local Gauge Principle and Action Convergence The local gauge principle is not introduced as a new axiom, but arises naturally from the conjunction of the unobservability of the global U(1) phase and the locality of the per-node τ clock (no global simultaneity), forcing the introduction of a connection A_μ. Consequently, Berry holonomy, the Aharonov–Bohm phase, and the Born/ABL closed-time contour are welded into the holonomies of this single τ-fibre connection. Bypassing the two historical defects of the Kaluza–Klein ansatz, we show that the Maxwell action −(1/4)F² and the gravitational action both descend from a single node-stiffness principle—identified with the Dirichlet (harmonic) energy forced by the holomorphy of the complex-time metric: Gravity (Rate Part): Non-compact sector → |∇ω|² Gauge (Phase Part): Compact S¹ sector → (1 − cos) → (1/4)F² Any periodic, even, analytic node cost naturally yields (1/4)F² in the continuum limit, with the two-derivative truncation being a derived Planck-scale effective-field-theory consequence. 3. The Truth Boundary (Derivable vs. Non-Derivable) Finally, we draw a strict truth boundary: What is derivable: Topology dictates charge quantisation via the winding number π₁(S¹) = ℤ, and the coupling ratio g₂ = g₃ at the fibre scale emerges as a clean group-theoretic result. What is NOT derivable: The framework cannot derive the coupling strength itself; the fine-structure constant α is dictated by the dimensionful fibre modulus and is not derivable (exactly as the numerical value of G is not). This paper reproduces, and does not modify, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and the gauge structure of the Standard Model; it predicts no observable deviation.

Paper XI: Quantum Mechanics as a Geometric Consequence of the Quaternionic Vacuum

Yunus Emre Tikbaş

The complete mathematical structure of non-relativistic quantum mechanics — Hilbert space, canonical commutation relations, the uncertainty principle, the de Broglie relation, the Schrödinger equation, the Born rule, spin-statistics, and quantum entanglement — is shown to be derivable from three geometric axioms: the spatial universe is an S³ hypersurface propagating at velocity c through the quaternionic vacuum H ≅ ℝ⁴, subject to an isoclinic rotation enforced by the extremality condition. Phase space and quantisation of ℏ. The null constraint |v₄| = c forces the phase space to be T*S³. The Hopf fibration S¹ ↪ S³ → S² with first Chern class c₁ = 1 quantises the symplectic flux, determining Planck's constant ℏ as both the minimum symplectic area and the conserved Noether charge of the contact-conformal symmetry. The universality of ℏ — its identical value across all particles and interactions — is proved to be a consequence of the isoclinic condition: only isoclinic rotation preserves the Hopf fibration structure required for symplectic flux quantisation. Five principal results. (i) Born rule. The probability measure |ψ|² arises from marginalisation over the inaccessible Hopf fibre coordinate; it is not postulated. (ii) Quantum entanglement. Entanglement is topological, forced by the universal Hopf linking number lk = 1. (iii) Bell correlations. The correlator E(a,b) = −a·b is a consequence of SO(4) rotational invariance on S³, without hidden-variable supplementation. (iv) Classical–quantum decomposition. Classical physics is the radial projection of the membrane dynamics; quantum mechanics is its rotational projection. The two regimes are not separate postulates but orthogonal projections of a single geometric structure. (v) Quantisation obstruction. The Groenewold–van Hove quantisation obstruction does not apply to S³ because C^∞(S³) = U(su(2)) by the Peter–Weyl theorem; the algebra of observables is globally well-defined. Falsifiable predictions. Two predictions are stated with explicit observational protocols: — No gravitational decoherence: the geometric origin of ℏ implies that gravitational interaction cannot degrade entanglement coherence. Testable with the MAQRO space mission via matter-wave interferometry at mass scales m ~ 10⁻¹⁷ kg over baseline ~ 10³ km. — Perfect Bell correlations at arbitrary separation: the topological origin of entanglement (lk = 1) predicts no geometric suppression of Bell correlations with increasing spatial separation, in contrast to models coupling entanglement to background curvature.

Deriving Quantum Mechanics from Topological Solitons on S³ — Angular World Architecture (Quantum Sector)

Samir Senouci

Deriving Quantum Mechanics from Topological Solitons on S³ — Angular World Architecture (Quantum Sector) Standard quantum mechanics rests on seven independent postulates whose physical origin is unknown. This article shows that all seven are derivable as theorems from two geometric axioms and a single nonlinear field equation on the 3-sphere S³ — the unique compact simply connected 3-manifold (Poincaré–Perelman, 2003). The construction is minimal. Topologically stable solitons (k ∈ π₃(S³) = ℤ) are identified with particles; their BPS mass is mc² = 8ℏω₀; the isomorphism S³ ≅ SU(2) yields spin j = k/2 and the spin–statistics connection (−1)^k without postulate. Linearization around the kink soliton produces the Klein–Gordon equation, and the Schrödinger equation as its non-relativistic limit. The Born rule P_n = |⟨φ_n|ψ⟩|² follows from the Liouville measure on phase space, supported independently by Zurek envariance and Valentini equilibrium. The Dirac equation emerges from the unique Clifford representation Cl(1,3) ≅ M₄(ℂ). The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (CODATA: 1836.153, 0.04 % agreement) is derived with zero free parameters from the non-BPS mechanical energy of the k = 3 soliton. In total, 41 results of standard QM are formally derived (D) and 4 additional results are empirically supported at ≤ 2σ (S). The framework naturally unifies QM and GR through a single continuous parameter ξ_G = 2(m/m_P)²: quantum mechanics is the ξ_G → 0 limit, general relativity the ξ_G → 1 limit. Zero-parameter quantitative predictions include α⁻¹(M_Z) = 400/π ≈ 127.3 (measured 127.9; 0.5 %), m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (0.04 %), resolution of the Hubble tension at 0.03σ, and Ω_Λ = (π−1)/π ≈ 0.682 (Planck 0.689; 0.5σ). Seven falsifiable predictions are testable in 2027–2035, including the Bose–Marletto–Vedral gravitational entanglement experiment — decisive, since this framework predicts entanglement growth where Penrose–Diósi predicts collapse. Keywords: quantum mechanics, foundations of physics, topological solitons, S³, Angular World Architecture (AWA), Born rule, Schrödinger equation, Dirac equation, quantum-gravity unification, BPS solitons, sine-Gordon, Hubble tension.

From Born Projection to Bell Nonseparability: A Hopf-Bundle Formulation of Retained Complex Topology in Deductive Entropy

David Richards

This paper is the second in a Deductive Entropy (DE) sequence examining whether established quantum geometry provides a natural cross-scale description of persistence, projection, and complexity. It follows Hidden Complex Topology, Born Quadratic Projection, and Dark Energy, which proposed that Born projection extracts observable probability without necessarily exhausting the complex geometric structure of the quantum state. The present paper develops that proposal using established quantum mechanics and quantum geometry, without introducing a new action, force, or microscopic dynamics. For a single qubit, retained structure is represented through the first Hopf fibration, its U(1) connection, curvature, geometric-phase holonomy, and characteristic class. For two qubits, the construction extends to the second quaternionic Hopf fibration, concurrence and tangle, the non-Abelian SU(2) connection, Wilson-loop holonomy, and second characteristic class. Clifford parallels provide a geometric representation of nonintersection with persistent global linkage, while concurrence supplies the graded measure of entanglement. The central DE interpretation is: Entanglement links what geometry separates, because the underlying quantum topology never factorised. Bell-inequality violations are therefore interpreted as geometric separation without topological separation. Bell factorisation fails through the nonfactorisability of the joint quantum state and its canonical bundle geometry, while parameter independence, Born probabilities, standard quantum correlations, and no-signalling remain unchanged. The formulation is deliberately parameter-free at this level. Rather than constructing a phenomenological scalar topology functional with adjustable coefficients, it uses canonical geometric quantities already present in quantum theory. The proposal is constrained by local-unitary covariance and must reproduce standard two-qubit concurrence, the singlet correlation E(a,b)=−a⋅b, and the Tsirelson bound 22. The paper positions DE not as a replacement for quantum mechanics, but as an extension of the implications of established quantum geometry into the study of persistence and complexity. It also establishes the geometric foundation for a subsequent paper examining consciousness, recursive memory, and the biological implications of the U(1) fibre.
