Abstract

Deriving Quantum Mechanics from Topological Solitons on S³ — Angular World Architecture (Quantum Sector) Standard quantum mechanics rests on seven independent postulates whose physical origin is unknown. This article shows that all seven are derivable as theorems from two geometric axioms and a single nonlinear field equation on the 3-sphere S³ — the unique compact simply connected 3-manifold (Poincaré–Perelman, 2003). The construction is minimal. Topologically stable solitons (k ∈ π₃(S³) = ℤ) are identified with particles; their BPS mass is mc² = 8ℏω₀; the isomorphism S³ ≅ SU(2) yields spin j = k/2 and the spin–statistics connection (−1)^k without postulate. Linearization around the kink soliton produces the Klein–Gordon equation, and the Schrödinger equation as its non-relativistic limit. The Born rule P_n = |⟨φ_n|ψ⟩|² follows from the Liouville measure on phase space, supported independently by Zurek envariance and Valentini equilibrium. The Dirac equation emerges from the unique Clifford representation Cl(1,3) ≅ M₄(ℂ). The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (CODATA: 1836.153, 0.04 % agreement) is derived with zero free parameters from the non-BPS mechanical energy of the k = 3 soliton. In total, 41 results of standard QM are formally derived (D) and 4 additional results are empirically supported at ≤ 2σ (S). The framework naturally unifies QM and GR through a single continuous parameter ξ_G = 2(m/m_P)²: quantum mechanics is the ξ_G → 0 limit, general relativity the ξ_G → 1 limit. Zero-parameter quantitative predictions include α⁻¹(M_Z) = 400/π ≈ 127.3 (measured 127.9; 0.5 %), m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (0.04 %), resolution of the Hubble tension at 0.03σ, and Ω_Λ = (π−1)/π ≈ 0.682 (Planck 0.689; 0.5σ). Seven falsifiable predictions are testable in 2027–2035, including the Bose–Marletto–Vedral gravitational entanglement experiment — decisive, since this framework predicts entanglement growth where Penrose–Diósi predicts collapse. Keywords: quantum mechanics, foundations of physics, topological solitons, S³, Angular World Architecture (AWA), Born rule, Schrödinger equation, Dirac equation, quantum-gravity unification, BPS solitons, sine-Gordon, Hubble tension.

Quantum Time - Wavefunction Collapse as the Origin of Spacetime and the Standard Model

Samuel Matthew Zygielbaum

See changelog below. The full derivations are provided in the attached paper. Every result is reproducible from the stated inputs. This paper derives the complete Standard Model, quantum mechanics, spacetime, and gravity — 85 quantitative results at sub-percent precision spanning 15 orders of magnitude — from a single postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement. The Standard Model has seventeen free parameters. General relativity has no quantum theory. The measurement problem has been open for a century. The cosmological constant is wrong by 120 orders of magnitude. The question of why there is something rather than nothing has no physical answer in any existing framework. Each of these failures shares a common omission: none ask where time comes from. This paper takes that question seriously. A single physical principle — information cannot be destroyed — is self-sealing: its own violation is incoherent. Its formal expression is Postulate I: each foreclosed quantum branch produces exactly one chronon — a massless spin-1 gauge boson of U(1)_T, the unique gauge group forced by the complex ray structure of the Hilbert space and the single scalar collapse charge. We call it the chronon. Time is not the background in which physics happens; it is generated by physics, irreversibly, at every collapse. These requirements yield a single Lagrangian, ℒ_QT, that extends the Standard Model by one massless spin-1 field and one coupling constant. From this — combined with one measurement, Newton’s gravitational constant G — we derive: all of quantum mechanics via the Piron–Soler–Gleason chain (not assumed); the complete Standard Model with all dimensionless parameters determined; the complete resolution of the measurement problem, including the environmental decoherence cascade; and 85 quantitative physical results spanning fifteen orders of magnitude in energy. Three spatial dimensions follow from the channel-matching principle (D = N_c) and the Weinberg angle consistency condition (N_c = 3). The Big Bang was not initiated — it was mandatory. The numerical precision is sharp. The worst result where the theoretical prediction exceeds experimental precision is 0.5%. For the majority of results, the framework’s prediction is already more precise than the measurement. The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 2N_cπ⁵(1 + α²/√(N_c²−1)) agrees to sub-ppb precision. The proton charge radius matches muonic hydrogen to five significant figures. The Higgs boson mass to 0.002% via the full cascade derivation (0.25% from the explicit formula). The W boson mass to 0.001%. The fine structure constant to 0.026% (1/α = 137 exactly at tree level). The cosmological constant — wrong by 120 orders of magnitude in standard QFT — is derived to 0.03%. The Hubble tension, a 5σ discrepancy unresolved in standard cosmology, follows from the same structure: H₀_local = H₀ × 13/12 = 73.0 km/s/Mpc (0.05%). All four PMNS neutrino mixing parameters, previously unexplained, are derived to sub-0.5%. Sub-percent agreement spans from neutrino mass splittings at ~9 meV to the CMB temperature at 2.725 K — fifteen orders of magnitude from a single dimensionful input. The framework makes ten falsifiable predictions currently under test: an electron electric dipole moment of exactly zero (ACME III is live); a spin-1 gravitational wave breathing mode at ~9% of the + polarisation amplitude (testable with LIGO O4/O5 data); no dark matter particle in any direct-detection experiment; no graviton — gravity is geometric drift in a proper-time gradient sourced by the energy-momentum tensor, not exchange of a spin-2 particle; there is nothing to detect. A confirmed non-zero electron EDM or a detected graviton falsifies the framework immediately. The logical order, from bottom to top: information cannot be destroyed → P-I (one chronon per foreclosed branch) → proposition lattice with axioms P0–P4 → Piron–Soler–Gleason chain → complex Hilbert space → ray phase redundancy → single scalar collapse charge → U(1)_T gauge field with Maxwell dynamics → channel-matching principle gives D = N_c → Weinberg angle selects N_c = 3 → D = 3 → adding G through the Planck cascade gives λ_conf = 0.40092 fm → the complete Standard Model follows. Spacetime, quantum mechanics, and the Standard Model are not independent inputs — they follow as consequences of P-I, the structural principles, and one observational consistency condition. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v86 Changelog (April 7–8 2026) — All numerical results unchanged from v85. Result classification (5 epistemic tiers, ~12 independent core results, compression ratio 85:19), axiom necessity (what breaks without each of P0–P4 and D1–D4), and ablation tests (N_c = 2, N_c = 4, drop P4, change coupling exponent, allow D ≠ N_c — every perturbation destroys the majority of results). Framework premise expanded from "one postulate" to "one postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement." Front matter aligned with body throughout. One derivation story, no internal contradictions. Derivation upgrades: Proton-to-electron mass ratio (§9.3): Replaced "2 spin states × N_c colours" with rigorous hyperspherical decomposition. S³ forced by massless emission in (3+1)D; S⁵ forced by K=0 ground state of 3-quark system in 6D relative coordinates. Neutral pion mass (§9.9.1): Factor 5 now derived as 2N_c − 1. Denominator 2π identified as one-loop coefficient of U(1)_T vector gauge coupling. Neutron-proton mass difference (§9.3.2): Replaced "circular loop + straight line" with flux tube arm derivation. π from SU(2) isospin rotation; +1 from chromoelectric flux tube arm to Y-junction. CP phase δ (§9.8.2): Replaced "axial-to-spherical flux ratio" with V−A vertex structure. The ratio 4/π is universal across all generation spaces because any unitary rotation lies on a great circle of S². W boson mass corrections (§9.5.1): Both NLO terms fully derived. Direct vertex α_s/(8π): C_F cancelled by non-relativistic reduction. Exchange α_s/(12π²): two vertices × Dirac-to-colour projection ratio. Charm mass (§9.13.4): Factor 4/π identified as axial-to-vector coupling ratio through V−A weak vertex. Systematic correction — QCD dressing factor: The coefficient 1/(2π) appearing in ~10 results was previously attributed to "hemisphere projection geometry." Replaced throughout: mass in the chronon framework is a U(1)_T vector gauge coupling, not a scalar Yukawa coupling. The factor 1/2 confirmed by two independent routes: (i) Dirac algebra (γ^α γ^μ γ_α = −2γ^μ vs scalar = 4); (ii) C_F cancellation by non-relativistic reduction. Label correction: CKM geometric factor (§9.8.1): "four-dimensional solid angle" corrected to "three-dimensional solid angle S² = 4π." Numbers unchanged. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v85 Changelog (April 6 2026) — Electroweak corrections, |V_cb| prediction, consistency audit Four physics improvements and a comprehensive numerical audit, all from first principles with zero free parameters. Top quark mass (0.41% → 0.06%): The electroweak self-energy correction factor changed from (N_c+1) to (N_c−1). The factor (N_c−1) = 2 counts the charged weak boson states (W⁺, W⁻) mediating the t→b→t self-energy loop — the SU(2)_L charge-raising/lowering generators. m_t = 172,803 MeV vs observed 172,700 MeV. CKM θ₂₃ / |V_cb| prediction (1.3% → 0.3%): The framework predicts |V_cb| = 42.1 × 10⁻³, essentially identical to the PDG inclusive determination (42.2 ± 0.5) × 10⁻³ and inconsistent with the exclusive determination (39.8 ± 0.6) × 10⁻³. The inclusive/exclusive |V_cb| tension is one of the open questions in flavour physics; the framework picks a side. Falsifiable prediction. Baryon asymmetry η (0.5% → <0.1%): The sphaleron efficiency κ correction changed from α_s/(2π²) to α/(2π). The sphaleron is an SU(2)_L electroweak process; its one-loop vertex correction uses the QED coupling α/(2π), not the QCD coupling. Neutrino mass splitting Δm²₂₃ (0.3% → 0.08%): QED vacuum polarization correction −α/(2π) added to G₃ alongside the existing QCD correction +α_s/π. QUANTUM MECHANICS FROM THE JOBSON CELL MEDIUM

Robert Jobson

The Schrödinger equation is not a postulate. It is the non-relativistic limitof the Klein-Gordon equation that governs Hopf winding modes in the Jobsoncell medium. The derivation chain has zero free parameters: 1. Jobson medium: K = 1/eps_0, rho = mu_0, c = sqrt(K/rho) [PROVEN] 2. Free pressure wave: omega = c*k (massless) [QM1] 3. Hopf winding rest energy = m_p*c^2 -> Compton frequency omega_C = m_p*c^2/hbar [QM2; the Compton wavelength IS lambda_p = hbar_c/m_p = Zone 1 boundary] 4. Winding dispersion: omega^2 = c^2*k^2 + omega_C^2 [Klein-Gordon, QM3] 5. Non-relativistic limit (v << c): omega_KG -> omega_C + hbar*k^2/(2*m_p) Remove rest-mass oscillation phi = psi * exp(-i*m_p*c^2*t/hbar): i*hbar * dpsi/dt = -(hbar^2/2*m_p) * nabla^2 * psi [SCHRODINGER, QM5] 6. Born rule: P(x) = |psi(x)|^2 from medium wave energy density [QM6] The Schrödinger equation is quantum mechanics. It is now derived from thesame medium (Jobson cell lattice) that gives alpha, G, the Higgs mass, andquantum entanglement. No additional postulates or free parameters. Consequences: - Double-slit: Hopf winding fields span both slits simultaneously. Interference = constructive/destructive Huygens superposition in medium. - Which-path: Zone 3 field decoherence resolves winding at r < r_lock(T). r_lock(300K) = 340 fm; coherence preserved for macroscopic slit separations. - Delayed choice: no paradox. Medium configuration never had a single-slit address. "Measurement" = local perturbation resolving global winding. Timing is irrelevant; topology is not retroactively changed. NEW PREDICTIONS (not in standard QM): - Minimum electron slit width for coherent diffraction: 2*lambda_bar_e = 772 fm (below this, slit-edge Zone 3 fields decohere the electron winding) - Minimum proton slit width: 2*lambda_bar_p = 0.421 fm = r_grind (nuclear hard core) - Fringe visibility vs temperature: V(T) ~ exp(-r_sep / r_lock(T)) where r_lock(T) = (alpha*hbar_c*r_p^2 / k_B*T)^(1/3)

Paper XI: Quantum Mechanics as a Geometric Consequence of the Quaternionic Vacuum

Yunus Emre Tikbaş

The complete mathematical structure of non-relativistic quantum mechanics — Hilbert space, canonical commutation relations, the uncertainty principle, the de Broglie relation, the Schrödinger equation, the Born rule, spin-statistics, and quantum entanglement — is shown to be derivable from three geometric axioms: the spatial universe is an S³ hypersurface propagating at velocity c through the quaternionic vacuum H ≅ ℝ⁴, subject to an isoclinic rotation enforced by the extremality condition. Phase space and quantisation of ℏ. The null constraint |v₄| = c forces the phase space to be T*S³. The Hopf fibration S¹ ↪ S³ → S² with first Chern class c₁ = 1 quantises the symplectic flux, determining Planck's constant ℏ as both the minimum symplectic area and the conserved Noether charge of the contact-conformal symmetry. The universality of ℏ — its identical value across all particles and interactions — is proved to be a consequence of the isoclinic condition: only isoclinic rotation preserves the Hopf fibration structure required for symplectic flux quantisation. Five principal results. (i) Born rule. The probability measure |ψ|² arises from marginalisation over the inaccessible Hopf fibre coordinate; it is not postulated. (ii) Quantum entanglement. Entanglement is topological, forced by the universal Hopf linking number lk = 1. (iii) Bell correlations. The correlator E(a,b) = −a·b is a consequence of SO(4) rotational invariance on S³, without hidden-variable supplementation. (iv) Classical–quantum decomposition. Classical physics is the radial projection of the membrane dynamics; quantum mechanics is its rotational projection. The two regimes are not separate postulates but orthogonal projections of a single geometric structure. (v) Quantisation obstruction. The Groenewold–van Hove quantisation obstruction does not apply to S³ because C^∞(S³) = U(su(2)) by the Peter–Weyl theorem; the algebra of observables is globally well-defined. Falsifiable predictions. Two predictions are stated with explicit observational protocols: — No gravitational decoherence: the geometric origin of ℏ implies that gravitational interaction cannot degrade entanglement coherence. Testable with the MAQRO space mission via matter-wave interferometry at mass scales m ~ 10⁻¹⁷ kg over baseline ~ 10³ km. — Perfect Bell correlations at arbitrary separation: the topological origin of entanglement (lk = 1) predicts no geometric suppression of Bell correlations with increasing spatial separation, in contrast to models coupling entanglement to background curvature.

From UD Theory to Quantum Mechanics: The Spinor Projection

Dan Zhu

This work derives the fundamental framework of quantum mechanics intrinsically from the first-principle axioms of UD duality theory. Starting from the inherent binary expansive–condensative attributes of the UD ontology, four fundamental physical fields are naturally decomposed by spontaneous symmetry breaking across spatial and material existential domains. A two-component complex spinor structure is uniquely constructed, and the imaginary unit i is proven to be not merely a mathematical convention but a structurally necessary ingredient required by both the compact SU(2) symmetry and the orthogonal inter-containment of U and D attributes. Within the flat spacetime limit of the UD gravitational action, a system of coupled Klein–Gordon field equations is established, governed by a single self-consistent fundamental mass scale m₀=1/(2πe^π) with no adjustable free parameters. The coupling constant is determined analytically from the UD vacuum equilibrium background values and the U↔D duality symmetry. Through explicit construction of four-component Dirac spinors and auxiliary field decomposition, the on-shell equivalence between the UD coupled field equations and the free Dirac equation is rigorously demonstrated. The non-relativistic limit further recovers the Pauli equation and the Schrödinger equation sequentially, reconstructing the core dynamical equations of quantum mechanics from a unified foundational origin. Global U(1) phase invariance of the UD action is verified via total-derivative decomposition, yielding the standard Noether conserved current. The Born probability interpretation is deduced directly from the global normalization axiom by isolating localized laboratory-scale excitations from the cosmic background, eliminating the need for independent quantum postulates. Based on the intrinsic properties of the UD field components, a self-consistent ontological interpretation is provided for wave–particle duality, double-slit interference, and the quantum measurement problem. In this framework, the measurement problem is dissolved rather than solved: no collapse postulate is required, and determinism is restored at the ontological level. The theory naturally implies that the continuous D_U field permits quantum superposition, while condensed D_D intrinsic entities possess definite classicality without physical particle-state superposition. Three testable theoretical predictions are presented, establishing falsifiable physical consequences of the UD quantum formulation. This paper completes the intrinsic derivation of the foundational structure of quantum mechanics from UD theory. Together with the previously derived general relativity framework, it realizes the homologous unification of gravity and quantum mechanics within a single self-contained axiomatic system.

Theory of Generated Space — Emergent quantum mechanics from the TGP substrate: measurement, Born rule, superposition, entanglement, spin-statistics, and decoherence from a single soliton ODE

Mateusz Serafin

Preprint and supporting numerical material for the TGP emergent-quantum-mechanics paper, a companion to the TGP core paper (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19670324). Starting from the substrate-field framework fixed by the core paper, we show that quantum mechanics is not fundamental but emergent: measurement, the Born rule, superposition, Bell-type entanglement, spin 1/2, spin-statistics, and decoherence all follow from the self-referential dynamics of the substrate field Φ. Key structural results: (i) ℏ = π·χ·A_tail derived from the scaling symmetry of the soliton ODE, with A(α)=A_0/√α fitted exponent −0.49999 to R²=0.9999999955; (ii) ℏ(Φ)=ℏ_0√(Φ_0/Φ) a position-dependent Planck constant, testable shift Δℏ/ℏ≈−3.5×10⁻¹⁰ near Earth; (iii) Δx·Δp ≥ ℏ from three independent derivations (oscillation period + Nyquist, Fisher information + Cramér-Rao, energy minimisation); (iv) Born rule from measurement asymmetry — detector back-reaction <ΔA_det²> ~ A_part^{2.028} with R²=0.99995, CV=2.3%; (v) CHSH = 2√2 exactly (Tsirelson bound) from a substrate phasor on the topological singlet π_3(S³)=ℤ, with E(a,b)=−cos(a−b) to 3.3×10⁻¹⁶, no-signaling verified; (vi) spin 1/2 from hedgehog-vielbein winding B=1 universal across g_0∈[0.3,0.95], analytic B=2∫_0^1 sin²(πu)du=1; (vii) Fermi-Dirac vs Bose-Einstein statistics from exchange phase (−1)^B, anyons in 2D from π_1(config)=ℤ; (viii) decoherence from three converging channels (ℏ(Φ) damping, non-linear mode mixing, environmental back-reaction) plus quantum Darwinism as geometric tail imprint on the substrate. The repository contains the paper source, compiled PDF, and the seven numerical folders that are directly cited: qm_foundations/, qm_measurement/, qm_superposition/, qm_entanglement/, qm_spin/, qm_statistics/, qm_decoherence/.

A Mechanical-Topological Ontology as a Foundation for the Dirac Equation and the Postulates of Quantum Measurement

Conde, S.

The axiomatic foundations of quantum mechanics, while operationally successful, obscure the underlying physical reality. This work introduces a mechanical topological ontology intended to provide a causal basis for the theory. We propose a single postulate: that a fundamental fermion is the 0-dimensional boundary of a 1-dimensional, massive, string-like object topologically anchored to a dynamic vacuum field. From this postulate, we argue that the core structures of single-particle relativistic quantum mechanics can be understood as derivable theorems. First, we construct the object’s state space by identifying two independent, binary properties—a local, vibrational/topological duality (spin) and a global, orientational duality (matter/antimatter)—whose tensor product naturally yields the 4-component Dirac spinor. Second, we show that the requirement of relativistic consistency uniquely determines the algebraic operators (gamma matrices and their Clifford algebra) and the lowest-order dynamical law, leading to the Dirac equation as a theorem of consistency. Third, we demonstrate that the non-relativistic Schrödinger and Pauli equations emerge as its correct low-energy limits, where the quantum potential V (x) is identified with a local variation in the object’s rest mass. Finally, we argue that the foundational tenets of quantum measurement—the spin-1/2 property, the probabilistic Born rule, and the correlations of entanglement—can be reframed as necessary consequences of the object’s intrinsic topology and interaction mechanics. This framework thus offers a path toward demoting the axioms of quantum theory to derivable theorems, aiming to resolve its long-standing paradoxes by providing a clear and coherent physical picture.

Result classification (5 epistemic tiers, ~12 independent core results, compression ratio 85:19), axiom necessity (what breaks without each of P0–P4 and D1–D4), and ablation tests (N_c = 2, N_c = 4, drop P4, change coupling exponent, allow D ≠ N_c — every perturbation destroys the majority of results). Framework premise expanded from "one postulate" to "one postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement." Front matter aligned with body throughout. One derivation story, no internal contradictions. Derivation upgrades: Proton-to-electron mass ratio (§9.3): Replaced "2 spin states × N_c colours" with rigorous hyperspherical decomposition. S³ forced by massless emission in (3+1)D; S⁵ forced by K=0 ground state of 3-quark system in 6D relative coordinates. Neutral pion mass (§9.9.1): Factor 5 now derived as 2N_c − 1. Denominator 2π identified as one-loop coefficient of U(1)_T vector gauge coupling. Neutron-proton mass difference (§9.3.2): Replaced "circular loop + straight line" with flux tube arm derivation. π from SU(2) isospin rotation; +1 from chromoelectric flux tube arm to Y-junction. CP phase δ (§9.8.2): Replaced "axial-to-spherical flux ratio" with V−A vertex structure. The ratio 4/π is universal across all generation spaces because any unitary rotation lies on a great circle of S². W boson mass corrections (§9.5.1): Both NLO terms fully derived. Direct vertex α_s/(8π): C_F cancelled by non-relativistic reduction. Exchange α_s/(12π²): two vertices × Dirac-to-colour projection ratio. Charm mass (§9.13.4): Factor 4/π identified as axial-to-vector coupling ratio through V−A weak vertex. Systematic correction — QCD dressing factor: The coefficient 1/(2π) appearing in ~10 results was previously attributed to "hemisphere projection geometry." Replaced throughout: mass in the chronon framework is a U(1)_T vector gauge coupling, not a scalar Yukawa coupling. The factor 1/2 confirmed by two independent routes: (i) Dirac algebra (γ^α γ^μ γ_α = −2γ^μ vs scalar = 4); (ii) C_F cancellation by non-relativistic reduction. Label correction: CKM geometric factor (§9.8.1): "four-dimensional solid angle" corrected to "three-dimensional solid angle S² = 4π." Numbers unchanged. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v85 Changelog (April 6 2026) — Electroweak corrections, |V_cb| prediction, consistency audit Four physics improvements and a comprehensive numerical audit, all from first principles with zero free parameters. Top quark mass (0.41% → 0.06%): The electroweak self-energy correction factor changed from (N_c+1) to (N_c−1). The factor (N_c−1) = 2 counts the charged weak boson states (W⁺, W⁻) mediating the t→b→t self-energy loop — the SU(2)_L charge-raising/lowering generators. m_t = 172,803 MeV vs observed 172,700 MeV. CKM θ₂₃ / |V_cb| prediction (1.3% → 0.3%): The framework predicts |V_cb| = 42.1 × 10⁻³, essentially identical to the PDG inclusive determination (42.2 ± 0.5) × 10⁻³ and inconsistent with the exclusive determination (39.8 ± 0.6) × 10⁻³. The inclusive/exclusive |V_cb| tension is one of the open questions in flavour physics; the framework picks a side. Falsifiable prediction. Baryon asymmetry η (0.5% → <0.1%): The sphaleron efficiency κ correction changed from α_s/(2π²) to α/(2π). The sphaleron is an SU(2)_L electroweak process; its one-loop vertex correction uses the QED coupling α/(2π), not the QCD coupling. Neutrino mass splitting Δm²₂₃ (0.3% → 0.08%): QED vacuum polarization correction −α/(2π) added to G₃ alongside the existing QCD correction +α_s/π. Sign pattern (QCD adds, QED subtracts) matches the W boson mass derivation. Numerical audit (22 corrections): Full line-by-line verification of every formula, table entry, agreement claim, and cross-reference. Corrections include: D/H value (2.62→2.58 × 10⁻⁵, 1.3σ→1.8σ — stale from pre-κ η); He-4 agreement (0.5σ→0.7σ); z_
The Schrödinger equation is not a postulate. It is the non-relativistic limitof the Klein-Gordon equation that governs Hopf winding modes in the Jobsoncell medium. The derivation chain has zero free parameters: 1. Jobson medium: K = 1/eps_0, rho = mu_0, c = sqrt(K/rho) [PROVEN] 2. Free pressure wave: omega = c*k (massless) [QM1] 3. Hopf winding rest energy = m_p*c^2 -> Compton frequency omega_C = m_p*c^2/hbar [QM2; the Compton wavelength IS lambda_p = hbar_c/m_p = Zone 1 boundary] 4. Winding dispersion: omega^2 = c^2*k^2 + omega_C^2 [Klein-Gordon, QM3] 5. Non-relativistic limit (v << c): omega_KG -> omega_C + hbar*k^2/(2*m_p) Remove rest-mass oscillation phi = psi * exp(-i*m_p*c^2*t/hbar): i*hbar * dpsi/dt = -(hbar^2/2*m_p) * nabla^2 * psi [SCHRODINGER, QM5] 6. Born rule: P(x) = |psi(x)|^2 from medium wave energy density [QM6] The Schrödinger equation is quantum mechanics. It is now derived from thesame medium (Jobson cell lattice) that gives alpha, G, the Higgs mass, andquantum entanglement. No additional postulates or free parameters. Consequences: - Double-slit: Hopf winding fields span both slits simultaneously. Interference = constructive/destructive Huygens superposition in medium. - Which-path: Zone 3 field decoherence resolves winding at r < r_lock(T). r_lock(300K) = 340 fm; coherence preserved for macroscopic slit separations. - Delayed choice: no paradox. Medium configuration never had a single-slit address. "Measurement" = local perturbation resolving global winding. Timing is irrelevant; topology is not retroactively changed. NEW PREDICTIONS (not in standard QM): - Minimum electron slit width for coherent diffraction: 2*lambda_bar_e = 772 fm (below this, slit-edge Zone 3 fields decohere the electron winding) - Minimum proton slit width: 2*lambda_bar_p = 0.421 fm = r_grind (nuclear hard core) - Fringe visibility vs temperature: V(T) ~ exp(-r_sep / r_lock(T)) where r_lock(T) = (alpha*hbar_c*r_p^2 / k_B*T)^(1/3)
