Theory of Generated Space — Emergent quantum mechanics from the TGP substrate: measurement, Born rule, superposition, entanglement, spin-statistics, and decoherence from a single soliton ODE
Preprint and supporting numerical material for the TGP emergent-quantum-mechanics paper, a companion to the TGP core paper (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19670324). Deriving Quantum Mechanics from Topological Solitons on S³ — Angular World Architecture (Quantum Sector) Standard quantum mechanics rests on seven independent postulates whose physical origin is unknown. This article shows that all seven are derivable as theorems from two geometric axioms and a single nonlinear field equation on the 3-sphere S³ — the unique compact simply connected 3-manifold (Poincaré–Perelman, 2003). The construction is minimal. Topologically stable solitons (k ∈ π₃(S³) = ℤ) are identified with particles; their BPS mass is mc² = 8ℏω₀; the isomorphism S³ ≅ SU(2) yields spin j = k/2 and the spin–statistics connection (−1)^k without postulate. Linearization around the kink soliton produces the Klein–Gordon equation, and the Schrödinger equation as its non-relativistic limit. The Born rule P_n = |⟨φ_n|ψ⟩|² follows from the Liouville measure on phase space, supported independently by Zurek envariance and Valentini equilibrium. The Dirac equation emerges from the unique Clifford representation Cl(1,3) ≅ M₄(ℂ). The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (CODATA: 1836.153, 0.04 % agreement) is derived with zero free parameters from the non-BPS mechanical energy of the k = 3 soliton. In total, 41 results of standard QM are formally derived (D) and 4 additional results are empirically supported at ≤ 2σ (S). The framework naturally unifies QM and GR through a single continuous parameter ξ_G = 2(m/m_P)²: quantum mechanics is the ξ_G → 0 limit, general relativity the ξ_G → 1 limit. Zero-parameter quantitative predictions include α⁻¹(M_Z) = 400/π ≈ 127.3 (measured 127.9; 0.5 %), m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (0.04 %), resolution of the Hubble tension at 0.03σ, and Ω_Λ = (π−1)/π ≈ 0.682 (Planck 0.689; 0.5σ). Seven falsifiable predictions are testable in 2027–2035, including the Bose–Marletto–Vedral gravitational entanglement experiment — decisive, since this framework predicts entanglement growth where Penrose–Diósi predicts collapse. Abstract:The quantum measurement problemthe fundamental conict between the deterministic, unitary evolution described by the Schrödinger equation and the stochastic, irreversible outcomes observed in experimentshas remained unresolved since the inception of quantum mechanics nearly a century ago. Here we demonstrate that the Chrono-Singularity Unication (CSU) framework provides a complete, rst-principles resolution of all ve components of the measurement problem with zero adjustable parameters. From a minimal informational substrate ΨI characterized by three internally-calibrated constants (α = ln 2, β = ln 2, w = −1), we derive: (i) the Born rule P = |ψ| 2 as a mathematical necessity via the GNS construction and spectral theorem; (ii) the emergence of the preferred (position) basis through Dobrushin concentration bounds on redundant environmental records; (iii) single denite outcomes from the sampled-history ontology without dynamical collapse; (iv) full compatibility with special relativity through topological linking that preserves no-signaling while permitting Bell-inequality violation; and (v) unique, falsi- able experimental predictions including a mass-dependent gravitational decoherence oor testable in near-future molecular interferometry experiments. Significance:This framework provides the exact geometric scaling required to resolve the Hubble tension and derives the Diósi-Penrose gravitational decoherence floor (τ=ℏ/ΔEG) strictly as a low-energy macroscopic limit. This paper serves as the theoretical foundation for a fully deterministic, parameter-free unification of quantum mechanics and general relativity.
This pre-print, Paper 7 in the SORT Substrate series, systematically dismantles the mysticism of quantum mechanics by demonstrating that its core postulates are not fundamental laws of nature, but unavoidable mechanical consequences of a discrete, 3D Isotropic Vector Matrix (IVM) undergoing integer-valued torsional phase slips. By refusing to assume any a priori quantum postulates, this framework derives the entirety of observed quantum phenomena from strict geometric necessity: Spin and the Pauli Exclusion Principle: Particle spin is physically instantiated as the topological winding number (W) of a closed defect in the lattice. The spin-statistics theorem emerges naturally from the (−1)W holonomy under 2π rotations within the non-simply-connected SO(3) topology (and its SU(2) double cover). Consequently, Pauli Exclusion is not an arbitrary rule, but a literal geometric impossibility—two identical topological knots cannot occupy the exact same lattice struts simultaneously without fracturing the substrate. Superposition and Born's Rule: Quantum superposition is mathematically reduced to classical multi-mode acoustic standing waves vibrating across the discrete grid. Born's Rule (cn2) is derived independently from both mode energy partitioning and Fermi's Golden Rule applied to resonant phonon exchange, proving that "probability" is merely a measure of physical lattice stress intensity. Entanglement and Bell Inequalities: The mandatory violation of Bell inequalities is shown to be a trivial consequence of the IVM's tensegrity architecture. Entangled particles are not communicating via "spooky action at a distance"; they are topologically tethered nodes within a contiguous, non-local mechanical web, where stress propagates along shared invariant tension lines. The Measurement Problem: Wavefunction collapse and decoherence are re-identified as classical thermal dissipation. Measurement is simply the mechanical grounding of a resonant local defect into the macroscopic heat bath of the surrounding lattice environment. This paper establishes that the "quantum realm" is merely the small-amplitude, high-frequency acoustic limit of a solid-state universe.
We examine the claim, made in the corpus of the 5D Solitonic Theory (TS5D), to derivequantum mechanics the Schrödinger equation, the Born rule, spin, entanglement, andthe Tsirelson bound 2√2 from a deterministic geometric substrate whose compact fthdimension e = S1/Z6 represents energy. We separate two levels of structure: (a) the discretequantum numbers (KaluzaKlein tower, topological sectors, spin-statistics sign), which thediscrete/abelian geometry provides; and (b) the Hilbert-space structure (complex superposition,SU(2) qubit, entanglement, 2√2), which it does not provide without further input. We establish, through four independent and complete demonstrations (local CHSH bound;Tsirelson bound; geometric quantization of S2; two-soliton correlation), that: (i) the qubit isrealizable without any new eld, as a topological sector of a KaluzaKlein monopole (Hopfbration, c1 = 1), but that no internal principle of TS5D forces it; (ii) the value 2√2 isnot derivable from a deterministic local substrate, because Bell's theorem is a theorem, nota circumventable empirical constraint. The defensible form of TS5D is a geometrized non-local Bohm: a deterministic, non-local theory whose 4D projection is quantum mechanics, the quantum content entering at two named, minimal points. The fth dimension e givesnon-locality a deterministic geometric mechanism, without rendering it local.Nature of the text. This is a foundational / clarication paper: it establishes the minimalconditions under which a deterministic 5D geometry can reproduce quantum mechanics, andthe theorem-level obstacles (Bell, Tsirelson, qubit topology, chirality, Born rule) that boundthem. It claims no new complete derivation.
Evidence Paper VI of the Existence Equation series. From Born rule to Bell inequality: one observer to two. In the parent work (The Existence Equation), the Born rule P = |Ψ|² is not an axiom but a derived consequence: the condensation term α|Ψ|²Ψ projects the continuous phase of the deviation field onto discrete binary outcomes (±1), and time-averaging the projected phase recovers cos θ correlations — verified by simulation on a 256³ lattice (hydrogen s-orbital, 30,000 steps). The Born rule emerges from the measurement geometry of one observer. If the Born rule for one observer is a consequence of ED's condensation mechanism, then for two observers sharing a single conserved field (Ψ_A + Ψ_B = 0), the Tsirelson bound S = 2√2 follows as pure measurement geometry. The Bell inequality violation is not a separate mystery — it is the natural two-observer extension of the same mechanism that produces the Born rule. Input: 2 items. The "Classical" configuration in the table below has |u| + |v| = 2√2 — the ceiling is fully available — yet achieves only S = 2. What differs is the correlation function. Separable hidden variables produce piecewise-linear correlations. Only cos θ correlations — which ED derives from field conservation, not from Hilbert space — can saturate the ceiling. Ceiling vs. Saturation — the key separation: Configuration|S||u||v||u|+|v| Optimal (quantum)2.82841.41421.41422.8284 Uniform2.59811.00001.73212.7321 Tight2.38900.76541.84782.6131 Classical2.00001.41421.41422.8284 The constraint |u|² + |v|² = 4 verified to 10⁻¹⁶ precision across 2D, 3D, and 10D measurement spaces — the bound is dimension-independent and reflects the structure of binary measurement, not of physical space. The structural reading of Bell violation: Standard quantum mechanics treats the Born rule as an axiom and calculates 2√2 through Hilbert space operator norms. The Existence Equation derives the Born rule from condensation, then explains 2√2 as the geometric consequence of applying that same mechanism to two observers sharing a conserved field. The Bell inequality violation is not evidence for non-locality — it is evidence for non-separability of a single conserved deviation field. The Bell inequality violation is not spooky. It is geometric. It measures the diagonal of the binary measurement lattice. The Born rule sits at the heart of quantum mechanics as an unexamined assumption: probabilities are fundamental. For a statistician, that is uncomfortable. Probabilities are tools for describing ignorance — so what, precisely, are we ignorant of? That question leads to a deeper one: what is measurement, really? If measurement is a physical event, something in the world must change when it happens — something records it. WF-S formalises this with two physical inputs and one Lagrangian. Postulate 1 (WF-S kernel): a complex amplitude field φ(x) couples to a real substrate field s(x) via L = Lφ + Ls − g|φ|²s. Postulate 2 (record condition): macroscopic outcomes are weighted by cumulative entropy export σi = ΔSenv,i/kB during record formation. The substrate carries the irreversible imprint of that record. The Schrödinger equation and the Born rule are not independent postulates: they are the same Lagrangian in two regimes, separated by the physical threshold of record formation. The Born rule emerges as the entropy-uniform limit of a more general selection rule — derivable, not assumed. The entropy increments σi are thermodynamic quantities, defined through physical irreversibility independently of any probability assignment. The arrow runs: physical event → thermodynamic σi → outcome weighting → Born rule. The framework makes falsifiable predictions. For two outcome channels, the log-odds shift is ln(P1/P2) = ln(|a1|²/|a2|²) + Δσeff, where Δσeff ≈ εη Δσeng, Δσeng is an independently calibrated entropy contrast and εη is an experimentally bounded suppression factor. Swap-symmetry of the tilt (F1), linear response in engineered entropy contrast (F2), universality of the coarse-graining parameter across platforms (F3), and exact Born recovery in the entropy-uniform limit (F4-F5) are testable on existing platforms independently of the numerical value of εη.This paper is the first in a five-paper series; the substrate framework developed here is extended to forces, gravity, cosmology, and a full information-geometric synthesis in Papers II–V."
