Abstract

We propose that spacetime is five-dimensional — (x, y, z, t, e) — where the fifth dimension e is circular, periodic, and corresponds to the U(1) fiber in a principal bundle over four-dimensional spacetime. Our four-dimensional experience is a projection of this five-dimensional reality, and every quantum phenomenon is a geometric consequence of the projection. Within this framework, superposition is extension in the e-dimension, entanglement is conservation of the e-coordinate (e₁ + e₂ = C), momentum is helical pitch (∂e/∂x = p/ℏ), spin is helical chirality, and measurement is e-space sampling. The wave function is not an abstract probability amplitude — it is the literal shape of the particle in five-dimensional spacetime. We present three original results. First, the Aharonov-Bohm effect is derived as the holonomy of the e-bundle around a topological defect, establishing the physical reality of the vector potential from geometry. Second, the spin-statistics theorem is derived from a single geometric fact: the winding number of a particle's helix through the circular e-dimension determines both its spin (via the Noether theorem) and its exchange statistics (via parallel transport). Integer winding gives bosons; half-integer gives fermions; fractional winding in two dimensions gives anyons — confirmed experimentally in the fractional quantum Hall effect. Third, the Born rule P(i) = |αᵢ|² is reproduced within the five-dimensional density interpretation and the projection postulate, and the framework reproduces the quantum correlations that violate the CHSH Bell inequality (|S| = 2√2), with the non-locality sourced by the e-conservation constraint through the fifth dimension. The same compact e-circle also resolves the central obstacle to quantum gravity. The five-dimensional Einstein-Hilbert action on the e-bundle reduces via Kaluza-Klein decomposition to four-dimensional gravity coupled to electromagnetism and a scalar field in a single metric. The compactness of the e-circle converts the continuous UV momentum integrals of 4D quantum gravity into discrete Kaluza-Klein mode sums that admit zeta regularization. Under zeta regularization of the KK mode sums, the leading UV divergence vanishes identically at every loop order: S₀^{(L)} = [1 + 2ζ(0)]^L = 0. The subleading terms are Epstein zeta functions evaluated at non-positive integers. For the two-loop R³ counterterm of linearized 5D gravity on M⁴ × S¹ — corresponding to the Goroff-Sagnotti divergence that proved 4D Einstein gravity non-renormalizable in 1986 — the result under zeta regularization is stronger than expected: the R³ coefficient is identically zero at every order in the mass expansion, not just at leading order. The sunset topology produces the Epstein zeta of the Eisenstein lattice, E₂(s; n²+nm+m²) = 6ζ(s)L(s,χ₋₃), which vanishes at every negative integer through complementary trivial zeros of ζ(s) and L(s,χ₋₃). The figure-eight and vertex correction topologies vanish independently through the trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta at even negative integers (forced by the perfect-square structure of KK masses). Ghost contributions, carrying the same Eisenstein quadratic form through KK number conservation, vanish by the same mechanisms. Under zeta regularization of the KK mode sums, linearized 5D gravity on M⁴ × S¹ is perturbatively predictive — established through two loops by explicit computation, and conjectured to all orders by the Epstein-Terras structure — with counterterm coefficients determined from two parameters: G₄ and the e-circle circumference L. The spin structure of the e-circle (bosons periodic, fermions anti-periodic) implies a natural Z₂ orbifold with two fixed-point branes. The visible brane at φ = 0 supports Standard Model matter; the hidden brane at φ = π gravitates normally but couples to no SM force — geometric dark matter. The Casimir energy of bulk fields on the orbifold, with three right-handed neutrinos in the bulk to ensure positive energy, matches the observed dark energy density for a brane separation R ≈ 12 μm and predicts Yukawa-type gravitational deviations at that scale. The same bulk neutrinos give neutrino masses at the meV scale through the bulk seesaw mechanism. Kinetic mixing between the two branes' U(1) gauge fields is predicted at ε ~ 5 × 10⁻⁴ (from the KK tower mediation: α_EM × π²/6 × exp(−π)), testable by LDMX and LHCb Run 3. A conjectured Z₃ orbifold structure gives three SM generations, with conjectured exponential mass hierarchies from a warp factor k ≈ 2. A speculative identification of the Planck-scale electromagnetic coupling with the inverse configuration torus area, 1/α(M_P) = 4π², combined with three generations of SM running, gives 1/α(0) ≈ 137. The e-circle, Z₆-orbifolded and warped, provides a geometric account of twenty-two phenomena at three levels of rigor. Eight are derived from the basic e-circle (M⁴ × S¹): quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, gravity, the spin-statistics theorem, perturbative UV finiteness, the hydrogen spectrum, black hole entropy, and the CPT theorem. Eight more follow from the Z₂ orbifold extension: dark energy (Casimir energy), dark matter (hidden-brane matter), neutrino masses (bulk seesaw), kinetic mixing with a dark photon (ε ~ 5 × 10⁻⁴), the strong CP problem (topological resolution: π₄(SU(3)) = 0 in 5D), the Hubble tension (H₀ ≈ 68.7–69.5 km/s/Mpc from hidden-brane dark radiation; in 3–4σ tension with ACT DR6 N_eff = 2.86 ± 0.13), the Casimir effect, and baryon asymmetry (derived in Paper 2 via bulk leptogenesis). Six are conjectured: the dark energy equation of state (thawing dilaton, derived quantitatively in Paper 2), the fine structure constant α ≈ 1/137 (from the configuration torus area), α stability, three fermion generations (Z₃ orbifold), the fermion mass hierarchy (warp factor k ≈ 2), and normal neutrino mass ordering (from Z₃ geometry, testable by JUNO). Seven testable predictions follow: two are already consistent with current data (observed α stability, and the dark energy equation of state w ≈ −1 — though DESI DR2 shows 4.2σ tension with static w = −1, resolvable via thawing dilaton quintessence). The naive dilaton prediction (ΔN_eff ≈ 0.57) appeared in tension with combined ACT+SPT+Planck measurements (N_eff = 2.81 ± 0.18), but this tension is resolved by intra-tower KK neutrino decays (Gonzalo et al. 2024), reducing the effective ΔN_eff to ~0.05 and giving N_eff ≈ 3.09, consistent with all CMB data. The remaining four — short-range gravitational deviations at ~12 μm, the dark photon signal at ε ~ 5 × 10⁻⁴, neutrino masses and normal mass ordering (testable by JUNO within 6 years), and mirror dark matter — are within reach of experiments in the next 3–10 years. The orbifold extensions are speculative but quantitative, with specific falsifiable predictions. What is established is a geometric framework in which the same compact circle that makes quantum mechanics necessary also makes perturbative quantum gravity finite. A companion computation (Paper 2) applies the CAMB Boltzmann solver to the framework's cosmological sector (to appear separately) with parameters derived entirely from the e-circle geometry — fitting zero parameters to CMB data. The central result is a scaling law from bulk leptogenesis on the Z₂ orbifold: the three bulk right-handed neutrinos deposit baryon asymmetries on both branes, but the hidden brane is colder (ξ = T_hidden/T_visible). The entropy asymmetry (1/ξ³) and washout suppression (1/ξ²) combine to give: Ω_DM / Ω_b = 1/ξ² Inverting against the observed ratio 5.36 determines ξ = 0.432 at leading order; the washout correction shifts this to ξ ≈ 0.49, converging with the independently θ*-matched value ξ = 0.47. Three scenarios bracket the prediction. The CAMB-computed results: t₀ = 13.47–13.60 Gyr, H₀ = 68.7–69.5 km/s/Mpc, S8 = 0.753–0.785 (resolving the 4σ weak lensing tension without tuning), r_d = 145.8–148.0 Mpc, and the CMB angular scale θ* matched to within 0.5–6.6 arcseconds of Planck's measurement. The thawing dilaton (w₀ = −0.85, w_a = −0.23) drives the expansion history H(z) to peak 4–6% above ΛCDM at z ~ 0.3–0.7 — a specific fingerprint testable by DESI DR3 at 8σ. The cosmic coincidence Ω_DM/Ω_b ≈ 5 is not a coincidence: it is 1/ξ², where ξ is fixed by geometry and baryogenesis. All three scenarios predict N_eff = 3.31–3.39, in 3–4σ tension with ACT DR6 (N_eff = 2.86 ± 0.13) — the framework's primary open issue, definitively resolved by CMB-S4 (σ(N_eff) ≈ 0.03).

A Topological Origin of Electromagnetism

Harvey Sang

Building on the Harvey space framework—a five-dimensional complex-time manifold with coordinates (t, τ, x, y, z) whose imaginary-time coordinate τ is compactified onto a circle S¹ = U(1) gauge fibre—we give the electromagnetic sector a single narrative line: Global topological conservation in complex time → Quantum non-locality (after projecting out τ) → Gauge symmetry (localising the phase reference) → Maxwell’s equations We delimit precisely what this geometry can and cannot derive through three core pillars: 1. Quantum Non-Locality, Malus's Law, and the Born Rule In the full five-dimensional manifold, there is no action at a distance: an entangled pair shares one global holomorphic circulation closed on the τ fibre, whose conservation is a local statement. No-Signalling: The "spooky" correlation is merely the residue left on the τ = 0 Minkowski slice, where the symplectic form ω = 2c² dt ∧ dτ vanishes and H_ω = 0 strictly enforces no-signalling. Correlations: Numerically, the spinor double cover reproduces the single-particle Malus's law cos²(θ/2). The literal closure of the τ loop (acting as a forward × backward branch) yields the Born rule |·|² as a direct geometric consequence, recovering the full quantum correlations up to the Tsirelson bound 2√2 (without sliding to the PR-box value of 4). 2. Local Gauge Principle and Action Convergence The local gauge principle is not introduced as a new axiom, but arises naturally from the conjunction of the unobservability of the global U(1) phase and the locality of the per-node τ clock (no global simultaneity), forcing the introduction of a connection A_μ. Consequently, Berry holonomy, the Aharonov–Bohm phase, and the Born/ABL closed-time contour are welded into the holonomies of this single τ-fibre connection. Bypassing the two historical defects of the Kaluza–Klein ansatz, we show that the Maxwell action −(1/4)F² and the gravitational action both descend from a single node-stiffness principle—identified with the Dirichlet (harmonic) energy forced by the holomorphy of the complex-time metric: Gravity (Rate Part): Non-compact sector → |∇ω|² Gauge (Phase Part): Compact S¹ sector → (1 − cos) → (1/4)F² Any periodic, even, analytic node cost naturally yields (1/4)F² in the continuum limit, with the two-derivative truncation being a derived Planck-scale effective-field-theory consequence. 3. The Truth Boundary (Derivable vs. Non-Derivable) Finally, we draw a strict truth boundary: What is derivable: Topology dictates charge quantisation via the winding number π₁(S¹) = ℤ, and the coupling ratio g₂ = g₃ at the fibre scale emerges as a clean group-theoretic result. What is NOT derivable: The framework cannot derive the coupling strength itself; the fine-structure constant α is dictated by the dimensionful fibre modulus and is not derivable (exactly as the numerical value of G is not). This paper reproduces, and does not modify, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and the gauge structure of the Standard Model; it predicts no observable deviation.

Quantum Time - Wavefunction Collapse as the Origin of Spacetime and the Standard Model

Samuel Matthew Zygielbaum

See changelog below. The full derivations are provided in the attached paper. Every result is reproducible from the stated inputs. This paper derives the complete Standard Model, quantum mechanics, spacetime, and gravity — 85 quantitative results at sub-percent precision spanning 15 orders of magnitude — from a single postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement. The Standard Model has seventeen free parameters. General relativity has no quantum theory. The measurement problem has been open for a century. The cosmological constant is wrong by 120 orders of magnitude. The question of why there is something rather than nothing has no physical answer in any existing framework. Each of these failures shares a common omission: none ask where time comes from. This paper takes that question seriously. A single physical principle — information cannot be destroyed — is self-sealing: its own violation is incoherent. Its formal expression is Postulate I: each foreclosed quantum branch produces exactly one chronon — a massless spin-1 gauge boson of U(1)_T, the unique gauge group forced by the complex ray structure of the Hilbert space and the single scalar collapse charge. We call it the chronon. Time is not the background in which physics happens; it is generated by physics, irreversibly, at every collapse. These requirements yield a single Lagrangian, ℒ_QT, that extends the Standard Model by one massless spin-1 field and one coupling constant. From this — combined with one measurement, Newton’s gravitational constant G — we derive: all of quantum mechanics via the Piron–Soler–Gleason chain (not assumed); the complete Standard Model with all dimensionless parameters determined; the complete resolution of the measurement problem, including the environmental decoherence cascade; and 85 quantitative physical results spanning fifteen orders of magnitude in energy. Three spatial dimensions follow from the channel-matching principle (D = N_c) and the Weinberg angle consistency condition (N_c = 3). The Big Bang was not initiated — it was mandatory. The numerical precision is sharp. The worst result where the theoretical prediction exceeds experimental precision is 0.5%. For the majority of results, the framework’s prediction is already more precise than the measurement. The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 2N_cπ⁵(1 + α²/√(N_c²−1)) agrees to sub-ppb precision. The proton charge radius matches muonic hydrogen to five significant figures. The Higgs boson mass to 0.002% via the full cascade derivation (0.25% from the explicit formula). The W boson mass to 0.001%. The fine structure constant to 0.026% (1/α = 137 exactly at tree level). The cosmological constant — wrong by 120 orders of magnitude in standard QFT — is derived to 0.03%. The Hubble tension, a 5σ discrepancy unresolved in standard cosmology, follows from the same structure: H₀_local = H₀ × 13/12 = 73.0 km/s/Mpc (0.05%). All four PMNS neutrino mixing parameters, previously unexplained, are derived to sub-0.5%. Sub-percent agreement spans from neutrino mass splittings at ~9 meV to the CMB temperature at 2.725 K — fifteen orders of magnitude from a single dimensionful input. The framework makes ten falsifiable predictions currently under test: an electron electric dipole moment of exactly zero (ACME III is live); a spin-1 gravitational wave breathing mode at ~9% of the + polarisation amplitude (testable with LIGO O4/O5 data); no dark matter particle in any direct-detection experiment; no graviton — gravity is geometric drift in a proper-time gradient sourced by the energy-momentum tensor, not exchange of a spin-2 particle; there is nothing to detect. A confirmed non-zero electron EDM or a detected graviton falsifies the framework immediately. The logical order, from bottom to top: information cannot be destroyed → P-I (one chronon per foreclosed branch) → proposition lattice with axioms P0–P4 → Piron–Soler–Gleason chain → complex Hilbert space → ray phase redundancy → single scalar collapse charge → U(1)_T gauge field with Maxwell dynamics → channel-matching principle gives D = N_c → Weinberg angle selects N_c = 3 → D = 3 → adding G through the Planck cascade gives λ_conf = 0.40092 fm → the complete Standard Model follows. Spacetime, quantum mechanics, and the Standard Model are not independent inputs — they follow as consequences of P-I, the structural principles, and one observational consistency condition. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v86 Changelog (April 7–8 2026) — All numerical results unchanged from v85. P-I motivates four directly; P0 (admissibility closure) is a structural axiom on the proposition space. §2.5: ℝ exclusion replaced. Old iε propagator argument replaced with operational compositionality / local tomography argument requiring no field-theoretic machinery. §3.1: Gauge derivation rebuilt from complex ray structure forward. Result classification (5 epistemic tiers, ~12 independent core results, compression ratio 85:19), axiom necessity (what breaks without each of P0–P4 and D1–D4), and ablation tests (N_c = 2, N_c = 4, drop P4, change coupling exponent, allow D ≠ N_c — every perturbation destroys the majority of results). Framework premise expanded from "one postulate" to "one postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement." Front matter aligned with body throughout. One derivation story, no internal contradictions. Derivation upgrades: Proton-to-electron mass ratio (§9.3): Replaced "2 spin states × N_c colours" with rigorous hyperspherical decomposition. Denominator 2π identified as one-loop coefficient of U(1)_T vector gauge coupling. Neutron-proton mass difference (§9.3.2): Replaced "circular loop + straight line" with flux tube arm derivation. π from SU(2) isospin rotation; +1 from chromoelectric flux tube arm to Y-junction. CP phase δ (§9.8.2): Replaced "axial-to-spherical flux ratio" with V−A vertex structure. The ratio 4/π is universal across all generation spaces because any unitary rotation lies on a great circle of S². W boson mass corrections (§9.5.1): Both NLO terms fully derived. Direct vertex α_s/(8π): C_F cancelled by non-relativistic reduction. Exchange α_s/(12π²): two vertices × Dirac-to-colour projection ratio. Charm mass (§9.13.4): Factor 4/π identified as axial-to-vector coupling ratio through V−A weak vertex. Systematic correction — QCD dressing factor: The coefficient 1/(2π) appearing in ~10 results was previously attributed to "hemisphere projection geometry." Replaced throughout: mass in the chronon framework is a U(1)_T vector gauge coupling, not a scalar Yukawa coupling. The factor 1/2 confirmed by two independent routes: (i) Dirac algebra (γ^α γ^μ γ_α = −2γ^μ vs scalar = 4); (ii) C_F cancellation by non-relativistic reduction. Label correction: CKM geometric factor (§9.8.1): "four-dimensional solid angle" corrected to "three-dimensional solid angle S² = 4π." Numbers unchanged. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ v85 Changelog (April 6 2026) — Electroweak corrections, |V_cb| prediction, consistency audit Four physics improvements and a comprehensive numerical audit, all from first principles with zero free parameters. Chronotaxis: φ-Branching Geometry and the Structure of Quantum Spacetime

Sharukhan A

We present a falsifiable field-theoretic framework unifying quantum measurement, cosmic acceleration, and observer physics through φ-based geometric organization of temporal branching. The theory proposes: (1) spacetime is five-dimensional (M⁴ × B), where B is a branch manifold with coordinates spaced at the golden angle θ = 2π(1-φ⁻¹) ≈ 137.508° to prevent topological collision (No Double Occupancy principle); (2) measurement implements an Observer-Dependent Temporal Filter (ODTF) that samples discrete branches via quantum Zeno effect; (3) cumulative branch surface area generates vacuum energy through holographic surface tension, manifesting as observed dark energy (ρ_DE ∝ A_surface/V). This framework addresses: the measurement problem (branching without collapse), the cosmological constant problem (explaining dark energy onset at z~0.7), and electromagnetic coupling (deriving α⁻¹ ≈ 137 from branch geometry). We provide explicit Lagrangian formulation ℒ = ℒ_matter + ℒ_branch + ℒ_coupling, demonstrating UV-finiteness via holographic cutoff and energy conservation through zero-energy universe dynamics. Six testable predictions distinguish this from standard Many-Worlds: (1) φ-periodicity in quantum measurement statistics; (2) neural oscillations following φ-progressions (theoretical support: Pletzer 2010, Kramer 2022); (3) correlation between H(z) and integrated stellar mass density with exponent α ≈ 0.52; (4) CMB temperature anisotropies at Fibonacci multipoles ℓ = {137, 222, 360,...}; (5) gravitational decoherence scaling; (6) fine structure constant variations proportional to sin(2πφⁿz). Three protocols executable immediately using public data (Planck CMB, cosmic chronometers, EEG archives) with explicit falsification criteria (p < 0.01, r > 0.7).

Emergent Wave Mechanics: Quantum Dynamics as a Projection of Five-Dimensional Null Geodesics

Bahman Masarratbakhsh

Geometric Derivation of Quantum Mechanics from a 5D Time-Delay Manifold This paper introduces the "Time-Delay Field" (TDF) theory, a novel geometric framework that derives the fundamental equations of quantum mechanics from a deterministic five-dimensional spacetime structure. By treating the fifth dimension as an intrinsic "delay" coordinate ($\tau$), we demonstrate that quantum behaviors—such as superposition and interference—are projections of continuous 5D null geodesics onto our 4D reality. Abstract:We present a geometric derivation of quantum mechanics based on the TDF theory. Extending the spacetime manifold to five dimensions ($M_4 \times S^1$), where the fifth dimension $\tau$ represents an intrinsic time delay, we postulate that all fundamental particles travel on null geodesics in the 5D bulk. We demonstrate that the rest mass of a particle arises from its momentum component in the delay dimension, leading to a helical trajectory. The quantum wave function $\psi(x,t)$ is derived not as a probability amplitude, but as the Fourier projection of this 5D trajectory onto the 4D hypersurface. This framework rigorously recovers the Klein-Gordon and Schrödinger equations and provides a deterministic, geometric explanation for quantum interference and wave-particle duality. Furthermore, we address the measurement problem as a momentum transfer in the $\tau$-dimension and discuss consistency with recent experimental observations of symmetry-dependent quantum timing [Guo et al., 2026]. Key Contributions: Derivation of the Schrödinger Equation: Proves that the non-relativistic wave equation emerges naturally from the projection of 5D null paths. Resolution of Wave-Particle Duality: Explains wave-like interference as a topological phase accumulation (Moiré pattern) of helical trajectories. Objective Collapse Mechanism: Defines "measurement" as a momentum transfer in the delay dimension, eliminating the need for an observer. Mass-Dependent Decoherence: Introduces the "Quantumness Factor" ($\mathcal{Q}$), predicting an intrinsic transition from quantum to classical behavior for macroscopic masses. Experimental Alignment: Consistent with recent findings on geometry-dependent time delays in attosecond physics. Keywords: Quantum Foundations, Time-Delay Field, 5D Spacetime, Null Geodesics, Kaluza-Klein Theory, Measurement Problem, Emergent Quantum Mechanics, Geometric Phase.

Quantum Mechanics from Five-Dimensional Spacetime: A Geometric Origin of Probability

Kisida, Shota

We demonstrate that quantum mechanics emerges naturally from the five-dimensional hydrodynamic spacetime framework. The central insight is that quantum probability arises not from fundamental indeterminacy but from observers' confinement to three spatial dimensions. An observer measuring a particle's position integrates over all possible values of the fourth spatial coordinate w (the time density dimension), creating an apparent probability distribution even for particles with definite five-dimensional positions. Starting from the classical geodesic equations in five-dimensional spacetime, we derive the Schrödinger equation through dimensional projection and the assumption of w-confinement at the scale Δw ~ ℏ/(mc). The Planck constant ℏ emerges as a geometric quantity setting the width of the observational window in the w-direction. We show that Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, wave-particle duality, quantum tunneling, and entanglement all follow from the five-dimensional geometric structure without additional postulates. The theory makes a striking prediction: particles should possess excited states in the w-direction with masses m_n = (2n+1)m₀, where m₀ is the ground state mass and n = 0,1,2,... For electrons, this predicts states at 1.53 MeV/c², 2.56 MeV/c², and higher energies. Searches for these resonances in high-energy collisions provide direct experimental tests of the geometric origin of quantum mechanics. This work resolves the measurement problem by showing that wavefunction collapse is the process of dimensional projection from five to three dimensions, constrained by the observer's limited w-resolution. Quantum mechanics is thus revealed as the statistical mechanics of observers confined to lower-dimensional hypersurfaces within a deterministic five-dimensional spacetime. This is the second paper of a trilogy. The foundational framework is developed in "Five-Dimensional Hydrodynamic Spacetime: Time Density and Dark Energy Complementarity." Dark matter implications are addressed in "Dark Matter as Temporal Displacement in Five-Dimensional Hydrodynamic Spacetime."

Deriving Quantum Mechanics from Topological Solitons on S³ — Angular World Architecture (Quantum Sector)

Samir Senouci

Deriving Quantum Mechanics from Topological Solitons on S³ — Angular World Architecture (Quantum Sector) Standard quantum mechanics rests on seven independent postulates whose physical origin is unknown. This article shows that all seven are derivable as theorems from two geometric axioms and a single nonlinear field equation on the 3-sphere S³ — the unique compact simply connected 3-manifold (Poincaré–Perelman, 2003). The construction is minimal. Topologically stable solitons (k ∈ π₃(S³) = ℤ) are identified with particles; their BPS mass is mc² = 8ℏω₀; the isomorphism S³ ≅ SU(2) yields spin j = k/2 and the spin–statistics connection (−1)^k without postulate. Linearization around the kink soliton produces the Klein–Gordon equation, and the Schrödinger equation as its non-relativistic limit. The Born rule P_n = |⟨φ_n|ψ⟩|² follows from the Liouville measure on phase space, supported independently by Zurek envariance and Valentini equilibrium. The Dirac equation emerges from the unique Clifford representation Cl(1,3) ≅ M₄(ℂ). The proton-to-electron mass ratio m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (CODATA: 1836.153, 0.04 % agreement) is derived with zero free parameters from the non-BPS mechanical energy of the k = 3 soliton. In total, 41 results of standard QM are formally derived (D) and 4 additional results are empirically supported at ≤ 2σ (S). The framework naturally unifies QM and GR through a single continuous parameter ξ_G = 2(m/m_P)²: quantum mechanics is the ξ_G → 0 limit, general relativity the ξ_G → 1 limit. Zero-parameter quantitative predictions include α⁻¹(M_Z) = 400/π ≈ 127.3 (measured 127.9; 0.5 %), m_p/m_e = 1836.87 (0.04 %), resolution of the Hubble tension at 0.03σ, and Ω_Λ = (π−1)/π ≈ 0.682 (Planck 0.689; 0.5σ). Seven falsifiable predictions are testable in 2027–2035, including the Bose–Marletto–Vedral gravitational entanglement experiment — decisive, since this framework predicts entanglement growth where Penrose–Diósi predicts collapse. Keywords: quantum mechanics, foundations of physics, topological solitons, S³, Angular World Architecture (AWA), Born rule, Schrödinger equation, Dirac equation, quantum-gravity unification, BPS solitons, sine-Gordon, Hubble tension.

Result classification (5 epistemic tiers, ~12 independent core results, compression ratio 85:19), axiom necessity (what breaks without each of P0–P4 and D1–D4), and ablation tests (N_c = 2, N_c = 4, drop P4, change coupling exponent, allow D ≠ N_c — every perturbation destroys the majority of results). Framework premise expanded from "one postulate" to "one postulate, four structural principles, and one measurement." Front matter aligned with body throughout. One derivation story, no internal contradictions. Derivation upgrades: Proton-to-electron mass ratio (§9.3): Replaced "2 spin states × N_c colours" with rigorous hyperspherical decomposition. Label correction: CKM geometric factor (§9.8.1): "four-dimensional solid angle" corrected to "three-dimensional solid angle S² = 4π." We present a falsifiable field-theoretic framework unifying quantum measurement, cosmic acceleration, and observer physics through φ-based geometric organization of temporal branching. The theory proposes: (1) spacetime is five-dimensional (M⁴ × B), where B is a branch manifold with coordinates spaced at the golden angle θ = 2π(1-φ⁻¹) ≈ 137.508° to prevent topological collision (No Double Occupancy principle); (2) measurement implements an Observer-Dependent Temporal Filter (ODTF) that samples discrete branches via quantum Zeno effect; (3) cumulative branch surface area generates vacuum energy through holographic surface tension, manifesting as observed dark energy (ρ_DE ∝ A_surface/V). This framework addresses: the measurement problem (branching without collapse), the cosmological constant problem (explaining dark energy onset at z~0.7), and electromagnetic coupling (deriving α⁻¹ ≈ 137 from branch geometry). We provide explicit Lagrangian formulation ℒ = ℒ_matter + ℒ_branch + ℒ_coupling, demonstrating UV-finiteness via holographic cutoff and energy conservation through zero-energy universe dynamics. Six testable predictions distinguish this from standard Many-Worlds: (1) φ-periodicity in quantum measurement statistics; (2) neural oscillations following φ-progressions (theoretical support: Pletzer 2010, Kramer 2022); (3) correlation between H(z) and integrated stellar mass density with exponent α ≈ 0.52; (4) CMB temperature anisotropies at Fibonacci multipoles ℓ = {137, 222, 360,...}; (5) gravitational decoherence scaling; (6) fine structure constant variations proportional to sin(2πφⁿz). Three protocols executable immediately using public data (Planck CMB, cosmic chronometers, EEG archives) with explicit falsification criteria (p < 0.01, r > 0.7).
By treating the fifth dimension as an intrinsic "delay" coordinate (τ\tauτ), we demonstrate that quantum behaviors—such as superposition and interference—are projections of continuous 5D null geodesics onto our 4D reality. Abstract:We present a geometric derivation of quantum mechanics based on the TDF theory. Extending the spacetime manifold to five dimensions (M4×S1M_4 \times S^1M4×S1), where the fifth dimension τ\tauτ represents an intrinsic time delay, we postulate that all fundamental particles travel on null geodesics in the 5D bulk. We demonstrate that the rest mass of a particle arises from its momentum component in the delay dimension, leading to a helical trajectory. The quantum wave function ψ(x,t)\psi(x,t)ψ(x,t) is derived not as a probability amplitude, but as the Fourier projection of this 5D trajectory onto the 4D hypersurface. This framework rigorously recovers the Klein-Gordon and Schrödinger equations and provides a deterministic, geometric explanation for quantum interference and wave-particle duality. Furthermore, we address the measurement problem as a momentum transfer in the τ\tauτ-dimension and discuss consistency with recent experimental observations of symmetry-dependent quantum timing [Guo et al., 2026]. Mass-Dependent Decoherence: Introduces the "Quantumness Factor" (Q\mathcal{Q}Q), predicting an intrinsic transition from quantum to classical behavior for macroscopic masses. Experimental Alignment: Consistent with recent findings on geometry-dependent time delays in attosecond physics. Keywords: Quantum Foundations, Time-Delay Field, 5D Spacetime, Null Geodesics, Kaluza-Klein Theory, Measurement Problem, Emergent Quantum Mechanics, Geometric Phase.
