Abstract
This paper proposes a novel distributed memory system leveraging the principles of quantum error-correcting codes (QECCs) to achieve high fault tolerance. The core idea involves encoding data into a QECC, followed by employing quantum error correction algorithms for error detection and correction. This approach significantly enhances the reliability and security of data storage and transmission compared to traditional methods. We outline the system architecture, the encoding and decoding process using specific QECCs, and the error correction protocols. The system's performance is theoretically analyzed, demonstrating its potential to overcome the limitations of classical distributed memory systems in the face of noise and decoherence. The key contribution lies in the integration of QECCs directly into the design of a distributed memory system, offering a pathway towards robust quantum data storage. Further research will focus on optimizing the system for practical implementation and exploring the use of different QECCs tailored to specific application requirements.
