Abstract
This paper proposes a novel approach to distributed database management leveraging quantum error correction codes (QECCs). Traditional distributed databases face significant challenges in data reliability and fault tolerance, particularly with increasing data volumes and complex query processing. This research explores the application of QECCs to encode and decode database data, thereby enhancing data integrity during transmission and storage. The core claim is that the utilization of QECCs can dramatically improve the robustness and reliability of distributed database systems. This work details the theoretical framework, focusing on the encoding and decoding processes using specific QECC families. The key mechanism involves the redundancy introduced by QECCs, allowing for the detection and correction of errors without requiring complete data reconstruction. This approach offers a potential solution to the inherent limitations of classical distributed databases. Further investigation into practical implementation considerations and performance analysis is warranted.
