Quantum Error Correction Code-Based Distributed Database Consistency Protocol
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
This paper proposes a novel distributed database consistency protocol leveraging the principles of quantum error correction (QEC) codes. Traditional distributed database systems relying on classical communication are susceptible to data loss and corruption, leading to inconsistencies. This protocol addresses these limitations by encoding database data into quantum states, utilizing QEC codes for redundancy, facilitating data synchronization and verification via quantum communication, and employing QEC for error detection and correction. The core claim is to enhance system reliability and security through the implementation of QEC. The proposed mechanism offers a fundamentally different approach, mitigating the risks associated with classical channels and providing a robust solution for data consistency in distributed environments. This work explores the theoretical framework and potential benefits of this approach, establishing a foundation for future research and development in quantum-enhanced distributed systems. ---
