Father – Son – Holy Spirit: A Sacred Interpretation of the Trinity Einstein – Bohr – Planck

Abstract

The acute conflict of scientific and philosophical views of Einstein and Bohr is often presented as a contradiction, Discord. But in fact, their relationship is a vivid manifestation of the quantum principle of complementarity: Unity, existing in the sacred sense as the connection of the Father (Einstein) and the Son (Bohr), the link of which, the Holy Spirit, was Max Planck _________________________ Острейший конфликт научных и философских воззрений Эйнштейна и Бора часто представляют как противоречие, Рознь. Einstein – Planck – Bohr. The Transition from Classical Science to Quantum Science: Docking in the Orbit of Thought

Oleg V. Yermakov

The article explores the transition from classical to post-classical science, rooted in quantum theory, within the framework of complementarity between Albert Einstein's determinism and Niels Bohr's probabilistic worldview. A conceptual model of this transition is proposed, where the two sides (Einstein and Bohr) are joined, much like ships in orbit, through a docking module (Max Planck). The components of this unity, the author suggests, correspond to the aspects of the Holy Trinity: Einstein as the Father, Bohr as the Son, and Planck as the Holy Spirit. Author portal: https://sites.google.com/view/yermakov-orcid

Bohr Is the Socrates of Our Time. The Great Man's Contribution to Knowledge

Oleg V. Yermakov

The article, which is a philosophical and linguistic study, examines the issue of the spiritual and methodological unity between Socrates and Bohr, as well as Humanity as the foundation of their epistemological approach, which Bohr, inspired and supported by his colleagues, reintroduced into scientific knowledge centuries later. A bolt from the blue

Jim Baggott

Abstract The confrontation between Einstein and Bohr over the interpretation of quantum theory has been painted in the past as a direct conflict between realism and positivism. However, more recent attempts to uncover the philosophical positions of both Einstein and Bohr have revealed that these were not so black and white. Einstein’s realism was conditioned by the strong empiricist influence in his own early experiences as a theorist and the growing wariness that led him eventually to reject Machian positivism. His was a realism born of a sense of necessity: a belief that a realist stance is the only one that leads to productive theorizing about the physical world. Bohr’s philosophy went through some quite marked changes, principally in response to Einstein’s challenges. The father of modem atomic theory could hardly subscribe to an uncompromising positivist position that rejected the reality of atoms. But the reality of the inner workings of those atoms was, Bohr contended, beyond the reach of a knowledge founded on complementary classical concepts of waves and particles. As Einstein’s challenges became deeper and more subtle, so Bohr’s position shifted to that of a distinctive anti-realism. Add to this a rhetoric in Bohr’s speeches and published writings that insisted on the logical inevitability of the Copenhagen interpretation, that insisted on its status as the only feasible interpretation, and that countenanced no other alternative, and you have dogma in the making. Heisenberg called it ‘Kopen hagener Geist der Quantentheorie’, the Copenhagen spirit of quantum theory which, he declared in 1930, ‘has directed the entire development of modem atomic physics’. Einstein frequently referred to the Copenhagen doctrine as ‘Talmudic’.

Complementarity and Scientific Rationality

Simon W. Saunders

Abstract: Bohr’s interpretation of quantum mechanics has been criticized as incoherent and opportunistic, and based on doubtful philosophical premises. If so Bohr’s influence, in the pre-war period of 1927-1939, is the harder to explain, and the acceptance of his approach to quantum mechanics over de Broglie’s had no reasonable foundation. But Bohr’s interpretation changed little from the time of its first appearance, and stood independent of any philosophical presuppositions. The principle of complementarity is itself best read as a conjecture of unusually wide scope, on the nature and future course of explanations in the sciences (and not only the physical sciences). If it must be judged a failure today, it is not because of any internal inconsistency. Despite the expenditure of much effort, I have been unable to obtain a clear understanding of Bohr’s principle of complementarity (Einstein). Bohr’s point- and the central point of quantum mechanics- is that no elemen-

Quantum Physics: The Path of Awakening and the Symbolic Figure of the Moon //

Oleg V. Yermakov

This text is a philosophical and mythopoetic essay that explores quantum physics as a limit framework of modern scientific thought and myth as a complementary symbolic mode of articulating reality. The author interprets quantum theory not as a metaphysical doctrine, but as a formal language that destabilizes classical object-based ontology and opens space for relational interpretations of existence. Within this interpretative horizon, myth is considered not as a primitive form of explanation, but as an experiential-symbolic system that organizes human participation in reality. The Moon appears as a central symbolic figure that historically integrates cosmological orientation, temporal cycles, and archetypal structures of consciousness. The work does not aim to propose a physical theory or an alternative interpretation of quantum mechanics in the scientific sense. Instead, it develops a philosophical reflection on the relationship between scientific formalism, symbolic thinking, and existential orientation of the human subject. Author portal: https://sites.google.com/view/yermakov-orcid
