An Improved Numerical Method for Calculating the Fundamental Construction of Digital Technology

Abstract

Quantum mechanics is the field of physics that studies what happens inside atoms. This is not for the faint hearted. Because quantum theory says that everything, we know about the physical world that we can perceive with our senses is wrong. In the quantum world, i.e., inside atoms, everything looks strange. Atomic particles can be in two places at the same time. This is called ‘Superposition’. In this paper, an improved numerical method has proposed for calculating the fundamental construction of digital technology. Apart from that, pairs of atomic particles have another peculiar property. No matter how far away one of the pair is, the other is well aware of it. If one is disturbed, the other will be stimulated at the same time. This is called ‘quantum entanglement’. Quantum physics is the physics of all matter as subatomic particles are the basic building blocks of all matter.

Abstract: Quantum computing is a modern calculation method that is based on the science of quantum mechanics. These phenomena include the bizarre behavior of particles at the atomic and subatomic levels, and the way that these particles can be in multiple states simultaneously. The field of computer science is a great mix of physics, math, and information theory. This technology provides high computing power, low power consumption, and exponential speed by controlling the behavior of small physical objects, such as atoms. Atoms, electrons, photons, etc. are all elements of the physical world. We would like to introduce the basics of quantum computing, and some of the ideas behind it. This article begins with the origins of the classical computer and discusses all the improvements and transformations that have been made due to its limitations thus far, then moves on to the basic operations of quantum computing and results in quantum properties such as superposition, entanglement, and interference.

Lighting up the quantum future: from basic quantum science to new technologies

Thomas Volz

Quantum physics is the science of the small. The very small.Essentially, it revolves around a fundamental theory in physics that investigates properties of matter at the atomic scale and even below.A key finding of quantum physics is that atoms and photons (and all other 'particles') behave both as particles and as waves. And, in the same way that a wave does not have a specific location, atoms and photons are not localised until they are measured by a detector. In fact, atoms and photons can be in different positions at the same time and can travel different paths at the same time. This phenomenon is at the heart of quantum physics and is called 'superposition'.Superposition is not restricted to position. It also extends to 'internal' states, e.g. the spin of an atom or an electron pointing up and down at the same time.

The Underlying Simplicity at the Subatomic Domain Can Describe the Diverse and Complex Universe - Where Matter and Energy are the Flipped Side of the Same Coin

The Quantum theory deals with the microscopic structure of the Universe that describes the finer details of nature at the subatomic domain. To a physicist, quantum mechanics is one of the three great pillars supporting our intuition of evocative, bewildering and fascinating natural World as we continuously struggle with the inescapable strangeness of the subatomic domain as if something strange is always afoot. It is well accepted fact that quantum mechanics is a physical theory that describes the way things behave at subatomic level which is quite dazzling in its precision and explanatory power.A test of quantum electrodynamics, the oldest and best understood of the modern quantum theory that involves measuring the way an electron behaves in the vicinity of a magnetic force. Many of the technological and social changes that have revolutionized our lives have actually risen out of the fundamental theoretical research carried out with only motivation to understand the World in a better way than ever. For example, the invention of transistor actually came with the fundamental theoretical research on the Uncertainty Principle which states that the uncertainty of the position of a particle times the uncertainty of its velocity is always a constant. If we double the certainty of the position of the particle, we have to make half the certainty of its velocity and vice versa. Quantum theory is perhaps the prime example of the infinitely esoteric in the sense that it describes a World in which a particle really can be in several places at once and it moves from one place to another by exploring the entire Universe simultaneously-the theory of simultaneity. The diverse and complex Universe is actually made of a few tiny particles according to the rules of quantum theory which is so simple that can be summarized on the back of an envelope. The more we understand about the elemental nature of the Universe, the simpler it looks. We have already discovered that everything in the diverse and complex Universe is nothing but the different assemblies of atoms, and the wide variety of atoms are constructed using the three building blocks at the sub-atomic domain i.e. subatomic particles: protons, neutrons and electrons. We have also discovered that protons and neutrons ate made up of combination of three entities called quarks. And that is where things stop as far as recent discovery is concerned. But the recent progress in particle physics inspiring the quest for the ultimate unified theory of physics that can describe everything in the Universe in one go. The discovery of Boson particle certainty will revolutionaries the Newton's mass concept and gravity into whole new looks. To an optimistic point of view, we must hope the best out of the progress in physics.

From Atomic Collision to Quantum Computers

Patanjali Kashyap, Kumari Poonam

Quantum mechanics is amazing, and computing abilities accessible by it are just the tip of the iceberg. It has an extensive variety of applicability in biology, computer hardware. The simple idea of engineering quantum computers for commonplace use is flattering perceptible with novel technological developments in quantum theories. Quantum computing emphasizes the philosophies of quantum theory, which pacts with modern physics that clarifies the behavior of matter and energy at an atomic and subatomic level. Quantum computing styles use quantum phenomena, on which quantum physics is based such as superposition, tunneling, uncertainty principle, and entanglement. It uses them for multiple purposes including data procedures. Hence, Quantum computing in this way fundamentally challenges tremendously tough tasks that normal computers cannot do on their own in an unconventional way which we are used to with classical computers. In conventional computing, a bit is a term to signify information by computers. Quantum computing uses quantum bits or qubits for a unit of memory. Qubits are contained and now realized of a two-state efficient and effective quantum-mechanical system. A quantum-mechanical system is one that can be in any two different quantum states. Superposition is a principle that positions while we do not know the state of a thing at a specified time, it is conceivable that it is in all states concurrently if we do not look at it to crisscross its state. This means that energy and mass turn out to be connected to interrelate with each other irrespective of remoteness. Entanglement and superpositioning are tremendously significant in proceeding computing and communications that can advantage us in many ways. These two marvels can be used to process an extremely big number of calculations, whereas normal computers cannot. The influence of quantum computing is amazing and not several grips the full competences it has to bid.

Quantum computing

Jens Eisert, Michael M. Wolf

Quantum mechanics is one of the cornerstones of modern physics. It governs the behavior and the properties of matter in a fundamental way, in particular on the microscopic scale of atoms and molecules. Hence, what we may call a classical computer, i.e., those machines on or under the desktops in our offices together with all their potential descendants, are themselves following the rules of quantum mechanics. However, they are no quantum computers in the sense that all the inside information processing can perfectly be described within classical information theory. In fact, we do not need quantum mechanics in order to explain how the zeros and ones – the bits – inside a classical computer evolve. The reason for this is that the architecture of classical computers does not make use of one of the most fundamental features of quantum mechanics, namely the possibility of superpositions. Throughout the entire processing of any program on a classical computer, each of the involved bits takes on either the value zero or one. Quantum mechanics, however, would in addition allow superpositions of zeros one ones, that is bits – now called qubits (quantum-bits) – which are somehow in the state zero and one at the
