Abstract

We propose a teleportation scheme for nondestructively transmitting an unknown qudit state between two remote communication parties that are linked by sequential Bell pairs. With independent and simultaneous entanglement swapping among the intermediate nodes, a direct entangled channel between the source node and the destination node is established. Our scheme preserves the initial unknown state even if the teleportation fails. Different nonmaximally entangled channels are distributed among the participants so that the quantum channel requirement is reduced. In addition, the communication delay is reduced significantly since the measuring and the transmitting are conducted simultaneously by the intermediate nodes.

Channel parameters-independent multi-hop nondestructive teleportation

Huayang Li, Yuzhen Wei, Yi Ding +1 more

A multi-hop nondestructive teleportation scheme independent of channel parameters based on Bell pairs is presented, where the coefficients of the quantum channel are unknown to all the communication nodes. With Bell measurement and channel matching technology the unknown channel parameters can be eliminated probabilistically with the help of the intermediate nodes. Then the source node Alice can teleport an unknown state to the remote destination node Bob. In our scheme the teleportation is generalized first to the scenario independent of channel parameters, which makes the requirement of quantum channel reduced. Our scheme still preserves the initial unknown state even if this teleportation fails. Moreover, performance analysis shows that our scheme has a higher communication efficiency.

D-dimensional nondestructive teleportation based on non-maximally entangled channel

Fenxiang Fu, Chen Chen, Xu Huang +1 more

Quantum teleportation aims to transfer an unknown quantum state between two remote parties who share an entangled pair in advance. We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for realizing d-dimensional point-to-point quantum teleportation without information loss based on non-maximally entangled Bell pairs. Compared with generalized probabilistic teleportation scheme, our scheme offers the chance to preserve the unknown quantum state if teleportation fails. In addition, our nondestructive teleportation scheme can reduce the communication delay on account of the fact that the information transmission and channel modulation can be performed simultaneously.

Quantum wireless multihop communication based on arbitrary Bell pairs and teleportation

Kan Wang, Xutao Yu, Shengli Lu +1 more

Communication in quantum wireless multihop networks is useful in global quantum networks. We propose a scheme for faithful quantum communication in quantum wireless multihop networks, by performing quantum teleportation between two distant nodes which do not initially share entanglement with each other. The required entanglement among intermediate nodes is established through entanglement swapping based on arbitrary types of Bell pairs. All the measurement outcomes and the types of Bell pairs are sent to the destination node independently. The initial quantum state can be finally recovered by corresponding local operations. Our scheme can reduce end-to-end communication delay by using simultaneous measurements in contrast to the scheme based on sequential entanglement swapping.

Multi-hop nondestructive teleportation between terminal nodes equipped with limited technology

Fenxiang Fu, Huayang Li, Shibei Xue +1 more

In this paper, we propose a scheme for the multi-hop nondestructive teleportation of an arbitrary single-qudit state via channel modulation performed by one cloud node in a network. Considering the limited quantum technology of the sender, the receiver, and the ordinary intermediate nodes, we assume that there are certain cloud nodes in a quantum network equipped with quantum processing capability of performing high-dimensional multi-qudit unitary operations. In our scheme, N intermediate nodes, involving one cloud node and N − 1 ordinary relay nodes, are connected in a chain through N + 1 different non-maximally entangled Bell pairs. Our scheme reduces the hardware requirement of the terminals, which makes it more flexible and adaptable in a network. In addition, our scheme enables preservation of the original single-qudit state, even if the teleportation fails. Our finding provides a methodology for the multi-hop nondestructive teleportation in a network with limited technical processing capabilities of terminals.

Multi‐hop non‐destructive qudit teleportation via non‐maximally entangled GHZ channels

Qin Liu, Yuzhen Wei, Shibei Xue +1 more

Abstract A scheme for the multihop non‐destructive teleportation of an arbitrary single‐qudit state based on various non‐maximally entangled Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger channels is proposed here. The parallel entanglement swap is used to form a direct d ‐dimensional () entangled channel shared between the sender and the receiver. The authors’ propose a novel idea that the third‐party Charlie with high quantum information processing technology executes the channel modulation, which reduces the technical requirements of the sender and the receiver. In addition, if the teleportation fails, the unknown state will be restored by the sender. This work provides a feasible method for teleportation and ensures the integrity of the unknown quantum information.

Multi‐hop teleportation of arbitrary multi‐qudit states based on d ‐level GHZ channels

Yi Ding, Min Jiang

Abstract The combination of quantum communication technology and wireless networks brings a flexible and secure communication method that adapts to a more complex and open network environment. A new multi‐hop teleportation scheme is investigated for transferring arbitrary unknown multi‐qudit states between two distant parties. Based on a more general quantum routing protocol, intermediate nodes are introduced and linked with each other via d ‐level entangled Greenberger‐Horne‐Zeilinger states as quantum channels. In this multi‐hop teleportation protocol, the source node and all the intermediate nodes can perform the entanglement measurement and transmit the measurement results simultaneously, thus reducing the time consumption largely. Furthermore, a general matrix formula is derived between the measurement results and the receiver's state, which enables the receiver to restore the unknown state efficiently. Compared with previous multi‐hop teleportation protocols, the teleportation protocol of arbitrary unknown multi‐qudit states of the authors can transfer more information, and it demonstrates lower computational complexity and higher flexibility.
