Abstract

In this paper, we show that the attack strategy [A. Yin and F. Fu, Mod. Phys. Lett. B 30 (2016) 1650415] fails, that is, the last agent and other agents cannot get the sender’s secret keys without being detected by using the attack strategy.

Cryptanalysis and improvement of multiparty semiquantum secret sharing based on rearranging orders of qubits

Aihan Yin, Fangbo Fu

Recently, a multiparty semiquantum secret sharing scheme based on rearranging orders of qubits was proposed by Gao et al. [Mod. Phys. Lett. B 30 (2016) 1650130]. In this paper, we show that in their scheme the last agent and other agents can illegally get the sender’s secret keys without being detected. Furthermore, an improved scheme is proposed to resist such attack.

Comment on "Cryptanalysis and improvement of multiparty quantum secret sharing schemes"

We show that, using Wang et al. attack [T.-y. Wang, Q.-y. Wen, F. Gao, S. Lin, F.-c. Zhu, Phys. Lett. A 373 (2008) 65], the first agent and the last agent cannot eavesdrop all the secret messages in Zhang et al. QSSCM scheme [Z.-j. Zhang, G. Gao, X. Wang, L.-f Han, S.-h. Shi, Opt. Commun. 269 (2007) 418]. In some sense, Wang et al. attack is unsuccessful for Zhang et al. QSSCM scheme.

Cryptanalysis of a semi-quantum secret sharing scheme based on Bell states

Gan Gao, Yue Wang, Dong Wang

In the paper [Mod. Phys. Lett. B 31 (2017) 1750150], Yin et al. proposed a semi-quantum secret sharing scheme by using Bell states. We find that the proposed scheme cannot finish the quantum secret sharing task. In addition, we also find that the proposed scheme has a security loophole, that is, it will not be detected that the dishonest participant, Charlie attacks on the quantum channel.

Eavesdropping on the multiparty semi-quantum secret sharing protocol based on single qubit sequence and permutation

Gan Gao, Xueying Cui, Ming Fang

The paper [Xin et al., Mod. Phys. Lett. A 39, 2450084 (2024)] proposed a multiparty semi-quantum secret sharing protocol based on the single qubit sequence and the permutations of the qubit locations. We study the security of the proposed protocol and point out that there exists a security loophole in it, that is, the first and last agents can collude to obtain Tom’s secret without the help of the other agents.

Comment on “Multiparty quantum secret sharing of classical messages based on entanglement swapping”

Song Lin, Fei Gao, Fen-Zhuo Guo +2 more

In a recent paper [Z. J. Zhang and Z. X. Man, Phys. Rev. A 72, 022303 (2005)], a multiparty quantum secret sharing protocol based on entanglement swapping was presented. However, as we show, this protocol is insecure in the sense that an unauthorized agent group can recover the secret from the dealer. Hence we propose an improved version of this protocol which can stand against this kind of attack.

A note on Wanget al's attack on Zhanget al's multiparty quantum secret sharing

Gan Gao

Recently, Wang et al (2008 Phys. Lett. A 373 65) proposed an attack on Zhang et al's (2007 Opt. Commun. 269 418) multiparty quantum secret sharing scheme, in which the first and the last agent are reported to be able to cooperatively eavesdrop on all the secret messages without being detected. In this paper, we show that in Wang et al's attack, on average no more than half the secret messages can be eavesdropped.
