Entanglement Transfer from Pair-coherent States to Two Mixed Atoms

Abstract

The entanglement transfer from pair-coherent states to mixed atoms with different forms of intensity-dependent coupling is studied. It's found that suitable form of intensity-dependent coupling can enhance the entanglement transfer and makes it evolve periodically.Even for the mixed initial atomic states, the maximum value of entanglement and the periodical evolvement are kept. It's also shown that the photon number difference between the two modes plays a key role. When is odd,the maximum entanglement between the atoms is less than that when is even.

Nonlinear Interaction and Entanglement Transfer from SU(1,1) Coherent State to Mixed Atoms

Jin-Hua Zhang, Mai-Lin Liang, Yuan Bing +1 more

For nonlinear interactions with different forms of intensity-dependent coupling, entanglement transfer from the correlated two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states (SCS) to the initially separable and mixed atoms is investigated. It is found that suitable intensity-dependent coupling can enhance the entanglement transfer and make the atomic entanglement evolve periodically especially for the initially mixed atomic states. For SCS, the entanglement between the two modes is strengthened with the increase of the photon number difference (PND) between the two modes of the fields. When PND is odd, the entanglement between the atoms is less than that when PND is even.

Mixed Moving Atom Entanglement Transferred from an SU(2) Coherent State under Nonlinear Interaction

Jin Hua Zhang, Mai-Lin Liang, Fu Lin Zhang +1 more

Under nonlinear interactions with different forms of intensity-dependent coupling (IDC), mixed moving atom entanglement transferred from the two-mode SU(2) coherent states (SUCS) is investigated. It is found that the atomic motion related to the field-mode structure parameter (FMSP) can make the atom entanglement evolve periodically, but can also destroy it severely. When the FMSP increases, the atoms are completely disentangled, irrespective of time and the initial atomic state without IDC. But under suitable forms of IDC, the atom entanglement not only revives, but also gets great enhancement and keeps the periodicity of its evolvement, even for the initially mixed atomic states. The maximum atom entanglement can be derived for proper values of the parameters of the SUCS.

A Theoretical Scheme for Entanglement Transfer under Intensity-Dependent Couplings

Heng-Na Xiong, Guo Hong

We consider a theoretical scheme for entanglement transfer between a two-mode squeezed vacuum field and two initially separable atoms through intensity-dependent couplings. We find that the entanglement transfer between the field and the atoms has an exact period for any given squeezing. We also find that the maximum achievable entanglement of the atomic subsystem is a simple increasing function of r . For sufficiently large squeezing parameter r , it is possible for the atoms to be entangled into a Bell state at half the periodic time points.

The entanglement character of two entangled atoms in multiphoton Tavis-Cummings model

Zhang Ying-Jie, Zhou Yuan, Yun‐Jie Xia +1 more

We investigated the entanglement time evolution of two entangled two-level atoms. The two atoms can undergo multiphoton transition when they interact resonantly with a single-mode field in the coherent state. The results show that the two-atom entangled state evolves periodicity. The influence of the two-atom initial state, the dipole-dipole coupling intensity between two atoms, the parameter of the coherent state and the number of the transitional photons on the entanglement degree of two atoms are revealed. When the initial state is a maximum entangled state, the state of the two entangled atoms will forever stay in this maximum entangled state. So this kind of entanglement state can be used for quantum information storage.

Evolution of entanglement of two-photon process in the two-mode coherent state field interacting with an atom via intensity-dependent coupling

Zhao Ming

In the process of a two-mode coherent state field interacting with an atom via intensity-dependent coupling, the evolution of entanglement between the atom and field or between the two-mode field is investigated by using quantum reduced entropy and relative entropy respectively. The results show that we can regulate the above mentioned two kinds of entanglement by choosing the system parameters of the initial state,or controlling the action time between the atom and field. The entanglement of the two-mode field will increase or decrease, but it's impossible to disentangle completely. We can get the EPR state and the separable state between the field and atom periodically in the high field conditions(the average photon number of the field is very large).

Entanglement transfer between bipartite systems

Smail B. Bougouffa, Z. Ficek

The problem of a controlled transfer of an entanglement initially encoded into two two-level atoms that are successively sent through two single-mode cavities is investigated. The atoms and the cavity modes form a four-qubit system and we demonstrate the conditions under which the initial entanglement encoded into the atoms can be completely transferred to other pairs of qubits. We find that in the case of non-zero detuning between the atomic transition frequencies and the cavity mode frequencies, no complete transfer of the initial entanglement is possible to any of the other pairs of qubits. In the case of exact resonance and equal coupling strengths of the atoms to the cavity modes, an initial maximally entangled state of the atoms can be completely transferred to the cavity modes. Complete transfer of the entanglement is restricted to the cavity modes, with transfer to the other pairs being limited to 50%. We find that complete transfer of an initial entanglement to other pairs of qubits may take place if the initial state is not the maximally entangled state and the atoms couple to the cavity modes with unequal strengths. Depending on the ratio between the coupling strengths, optimal entanglement can be created between the atoms and one of the cavity modes.
