Mixed Moving Atom Entanglement Transferred from an SU(2) Coherent State under Nonlinear Interaction

Abstract

Under nonlinear interactions with different forms of intensity-dependent coupling (IDC), mixed moving atom entanglement transferred from the two-mode SU(2) coherent states (SUCS) is investigated. It is found that the atomic motion related to the field-mode structure parameter (FMSP) can make the atom entanglement evolve periodically, but can also destroy it severely. When the FMSP increases, the atoms are completely disentangled, irrespective of time and the initial atomic state without IDC. But under suitable forms of IDC, the atom entanglement not only revives, but also gets great enhancement and keeps the periodicity of its evolvement, even for the initially mixed atomic states. The maximum atom entanglement can be derived for proper values of the parameters of the SUCS.

Nonlinear Interaction and Entanglement Transfer from SU(1,1) Coherent State to Mixed Atoms

Jin-Hua Zhang, Mai-Lin Liang, Yuan Bing +1 more

For nonlinear interactions with different forms of intensity-dependent coupling, entanglement transfer from the correlated two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states (SCS) to the initially separable and mixed atoms is investigated. It is found that suitable intensity-dependent coupling can enhance the entanglement transfer and make the atomic entanglement evolve periodically especially for the initially mixed atomic states. For SCS, the entanglement between the two modes is strengthened with the increase of the photon number difference (PND) between the two modes of the fields. When PND is odd, the entanglement between the atoms is less than that when PND is even.

Evolution of entanglement of two-photon process in the two-mode coherent state field interacting with an atom via intensity-dependent coupling

Zhao Ming

In the process of a two-mode coherent state field interacting with an atom via intensity-dependent coupling, the evolution of entanglement between the atom and field or between the two-mode field is investigated by using quantum reduced entropy and relative entropy respectively. The results show that we can regulate the above mentioned two kinds of entanglement by choosing the system parameters of the initial state,or controlling the action time between the atom and field. The entanglement of the two-mode field will increase or decrease, but it's impossible to disentangle completely. We can get the EPR state and the separable state between the field and atom periodically in the high field conditions(the average photon number of the field is very large).

Quantum entanglement in a system of two moving atoms interacting with a single mode field

A.‐S. F. Obada, H. A. Hessian, Mostafa Hashem

We investigate the quantum entanglement in a system of two moving atoms interacting with a single mode field. An analytical solution for this system is obtained when both atoms are initially in the excited state and the field is in a coherent state. We study the effects of atomic motion and other parameters on the entanglement of the system and different bipartite partitions of the system (field–two atoms, atom–(field+atom)) through the tangles. The effect of atomic motion on the amount of entanglement between atoms and the field is also evaluated through the negativity. The results show that atomic motion leads to the periodic death and anabiosis of the entanglement between two moving atoms, and the time of the death and the amplitude of the anabiosis of the entanglement between two moving atoms depend on the coupling constant of two moving atoms and the parameter of the mode field.

Wigner function and entanglement dynamics of a two-atom two-mode nonlinear Jaynes–Cummings model

Mahnaz Ghorbani, Mohammad Javad Faghihi, Hassan Safari

In this paper, a model in which two moving atoms interact with a two-mode field with nondegenerate two-photon transitions is studied in the presence of intensity-dependent coupling. To discuss the entanglement dynamics between subsystems as well as nonclassicality of the system, the time-dependent form of the state vector of the system is exactly obtained. The dynamics of entanglement between the atoms and the field is evaluated by the von Neumann entropy. To examine the degree of entanglement between the atoms, concurrence and negativity are obtained. Then, in order to understand the nonclassicality feature of the state vector of the system, the two-mode Wigner–Weyl quasi-probability distribution function is precisely derived. It is deduced from the numerical results that the domain and the maximum amount of the degree of entanglement and nonclassicality of the system can be appropriately tuned by suitably adopting the nonlinearity function and the field-mode structure parameters.

Preparation and control of entangled states in the two-mode coherent fields interacting with a moving atom via two-photon process

Xiaojuan Liu, Bingju Zhou, Liu Ming-Wei +1 more

We investigate the preparation and the control of entangled states in a system with the two-mode coherent fields interacting with a moving two-level atom via the two-photon transition. We discuss entanglement properties between the two-mode coherent fields and a moving two-level atom by using the quantum reduced entropy, and those between the two-mode coherent fields by using the quantum relative entropy. In addition, we examine the influences of the atomic motion and field-mode structure parameter p on the quantum entanglement of the system. Our results show that the period and the duration of the prepared maximal atom-field entangled states and the frequency of maximal two-mode field entangled states can be controlled, and that a sustained entangled state of the two-mode field, which is independent of atomic motion and the evolution time, can be obtained, by choosing appropriately the parameters of atomic motion, field-mode structure, initial state and interaction time of the system.
