Abstract

In order to improve the key generation rate of the quantum key distribution protocols,a perfect complete orthogonal basis of the bipartite three-level system was constructed.By using this basis and swapping the entanglement between the particles,a quantum key distribution protocol was presented. Therefore,a three-level can be generalized to multi-level.Using entanglement swapping between the particles and multi-level key distribution,it can significantly improve the efficiency of the detection of eavesdropping and the key generation rate and the information flux.

A multi-party multi-level quantum key distribution protocol based on entanglement swapping is proposed. A perfect complete orthonormal basis of the bi-party three-level systems is first constructed. By using this basis and swapping the entanglement, bi-party quantum key distribution is realized. In addition, three-level can be generalized to multi-level and bi-party to multi-party,i.e., multi-party multi-level quantum key distribution based on entanglement swapping can be achieved. Using entanglement swapping and multi-level key distribution can significantly increase the efficiency of the detection of eavesdropping, the key generation rate and the information flux.

Quantum Key Distribution Based on Entanglement Swapping

LI Wen-qia

In order to enhance the efficiency of quantum key distribution( QKD),a protocol based on entanglement swapping is proposed. Without classical information exchange or unitary operations, the two communication parts can securely share a session key by entanglement swapping and Bell measurement. Almost all qubits, except a few which are used to check the security of quantum channel, can produce the private key,and two pairs of entangled particles can generate two bits private key. The protocol is proved to secure using Stinespring Dilation Theorem and the efficiency analysis is presented.

Quantum Key Distribution Scheme with High Efficiency

Gan Gao

Based on entanglement swapping, a quantum key distribution (QKD) scheme is proposed. In this scheme, the secret keys are formed by comparing initial Bell states and outcomes of entanglement swapping. Moreover, all initial Bell states prepared by Alice and Bob are completely arbitrary. As the classical information exchanged between two parties is very little, this QKD scheme has a high efficiency. In addition, in order to prevent eavesdropping, decoy particles are used.

Quantum key distribution protocol based on any Bell states

Liu Lin-Yao, HU Meng-Jun, Guangjun Xie

In order to improve the security and efficiency of quantum key distribution protocol,a protocol was proposed based on entanglement swapping. The two parties of communication establish the key by performing the Bell state measurement. No other people can get the key without being found.Different from the proposed protocol, the Bell measurement of any two Bell states can be realized to achieve the purpose of quantum key distribution. It does not need multi-particle entangled state but only EPR pair to realize the protocol.Analysis results showed that this protocol not only ensures the security of the quantum key shared information, but also uses the entanglement states of two photons without unitary operation. And the protocol is simple and efficient.

Quantum key distribution based on entanglement swapping

Adán Cabello

Entanglement swapping between EPR pairs can be used to generate the same sequence of random bits in two remote places. A quantum key distribution protocol based on this idea is described. The scheme exhibits the following features: (a) It improves the rate of generated bits for transmitted qubit. (b) It allows Alice and Bob to generate a key of arbitrary length using a single quantum system (three EPR pairs), instead of a long sequence of them. (c) Detecting Eve requires the comparison of fewer bits. (d) Entanglement is an essential ingredient. The scheme assumes reliable measurements of the Bell operator.

A Protocol of Quantum Key Distribution and Identification

Gao Fei, Wen Qiao-yan

A new protocol was proposed in which the quantum entangled states was used for quantum key distribution (QKD) and the quantum non-orthogonal states was used for user identification from eavesdropping as well. Both the two states were mixed as alternative form much or less in transmission via a quantum channel. Consequently, there was no need to transmit the classical information in identification process for dual contributions of non-orthogonal states. And the efficiency of QKD was got improved in the mean time. In addition, QKD and identification were completed simultaneously, so that the problem of impersonation was avoided.
