Abstract

Quantum Cryptography (QC) is an emerging security technique in which two parties communicate via a quantum channel. The fundamentals of quantum cryptography are No-cloning theorem and Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. This research paper proposes a simulation of quantum key exchange and authentication followed by an implementation of DNA based algorithm for secure message exchange.

The main focus of this paper is to find out the emerging and future scope of cryptography. Using the principles of quantum physics, quantum cryptography is a revolutionary technique that enables two parties to protect network communications. The theory of quantum cryptography and how this technology improves network security are the main topics of this research study. This article encapsulates the state of quantum encryption at present, practical application implementations of this expertise, and ultimately the future course that quantum cryptography will take. The ease of authentication via fingerprint, eye, voice, palm, and other biometrics is expressly stated by biometric cryptography. Biometric verification provides more security than would be comfortably provided by conventional cryptography-based confirmation. A rapidly developing field of technology is DNA cryptography, which uses DNA computing principles.

Quantum Cryptography: A New Generation of Information Technology Security System

Mehrdad S. Sharbaf

Quantum cryptography is an emerging technology in which two parties can secure network communications by applying the phenomena of quantum physics. The security of these transmissions is based on the inviolability of the laws of quantum mechanics. Quantum cryptography was born in the early seventies when Steven Wiesner wrote "Conjugate Coding", which took more than ten years to end this paper. The quantum cryptography relies on two important elements of quantum mechanics - the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle and the principle of photon polarization. The Heisenberg Uncertainty principle states that, it is not possible to measure the quantum state of any system without distributing that system. The principle of photon polarization states that, an eavesdropper can not copy unknown qubits i.e. unknown quantum states, due to no-cloning theorem which was first presented by Wootters and Zurek in 1982. This research paper concentrates on the theory of quantum cryptography, and how this technology contributes to the network security. This research paper summarizes the current state of quantum cryptography, and the real-world application implementation of this technology, and finally the future direction in which the quantum cryptography is headed forwards.

Quantum Cryptography: Realizing next generation information security

Payal P. Kilor

Quantum cryptography is a technology that ensures ultimate security. Compared to current cryptography that could be defeated by by the development of an ultra high-speed computer, quantum cryptography ensures secure communication because it is based on the fundamental physical laws. It is an emerging technology in which two parties may simultaneously generate shared, secret cryptographic key material using the transmission of quantum states of light. Quantum cryptography is a new method for secret communications offering the ultimate security assurance of the inviolability of a Law of Nature. The quantum cryptography relies relies on two important elements of quantum mechanics-the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle and the principle of photon polarization. This research paper concentrates on the principle of quantum cryptography, and how this technology contributes to the network security. This paper outlines the real world application implementation of this technology and the future direction in which quantum cryptography accelerates.
