Abstract

We propose a scheme for teleportation of an entangled coherent state through bipartite entangled quantum channels. We study the problem in both coherent state picture and orthogonal basis picture composed of coherent states, and find that in the coherent state picture teleportation can be implemented using only linear elements, but the probability of success is less than 1/2, while in the orthogonal basis picture the probability of successful teleportation reaches 1 as long as the four Bell states can be discriminated.

Quantum teleportation of entangled coherent states

Xiaoguang Wang

We propose a simple scheme for the quantum teleportation of both bipartite and multipartite entangled coherent states with the success probability 1/2. The scheme is based only on linear optical devices such as beam splitters and phase shifters, and two-mode photon number measurements. The quantum channels described by the multipartite maximally entangled coherent states, are readily made by the beam splitters and phase shifters.

Teleportation of a Bipartite Entangled Coherent State via a Four-Partite Cluster-Type Entangled State

Chen Hui-Na, Liu Jin-Ming

We present an optical scheme to almost completely teleport a bipartite entangled coherent state using a four-partite cluster-type entangled coherent state as quantum channel. The scheme is based on optical elements such as beam splitters, phase shifters, and photon detectors. We also obtain the average fidelity of the teleportation process. It is shown that the average fidelity is quite close to unity if the mean photon number of the coherent state is not too small.

Linear-optical teleportation of bipartite entangled coherent states via maximally entangled coherent channels

Shivani A. Kumar

This paper outlines a linear-optical protocol for the teleportation of bipartite entangled coherent states (ECSs) using maximally ECSs as quantum channels. The scheme relies on symmetric beam splitters, phase shifters, photon-number-resolved measurements, and conditional local phase operations. Successful teleportation is achieved probabilistically with a constant success rate of 50%, independent of the coherent-state amplitude [Formula: see text], and governed by the parity of the measurement outcomes. The absence of nonlinear optical processes or direct photon interactions renders the protocol experimentally feasible and scalable, making it suitable for applications in continuous-variable quantum communication, quantum information processing, and coherent-state entanglement distribution.

Scheme for Realizing Probabilistic Teleportation of Bipartite Photonic States via Linear Optical Elements

Dong Ping, Lin Ji-Cheng, Yang Ming +1 more

We propose a probabilistic scheme for realizing teleportation of bipartite photonic states using linear optical elements where only requires a two-photon Bell state used as quantum channel. It reduces the requirement of the entanglement of quantum channel, but requires an additional photon and an auxiliary maximally entangled photon pair locally.

Teleportation of a bipartite quantum state via generalized Bell states

He‐Shan Song

Two-qubit quantum teleportation is closely related to quantum computation,so a teleportation protocol in which an arbitrary bipartite quantum state is perfectly teleported probabilistically from sender to receiver is proposed. One of 16 generalized non-maximally entangled Bell states (G states for simplicity) functions as quantum channel. The teleportation can be successfully realized with a certain probability if sender performs generalized Bell state measurements (G measurements) and receiver introduces an auxiliary particle and operates appropriate unitary transformations and single-qubit measurements. The probability of successful teleportation is determined by the smallest one among the coefficients' absolute values of the quantum channel.
