Abstract

We propose a simple scheme for the quantum teleportation of both bipartite and multipartite entangled coherent states with the success probability 1/2. The scheme is based only on linear optical devices such as beam splitters and phase shifters, and two-mode photon number measurements. The quantum channels described by the multipartite maximally entangled coherent states, are readily made by the beam splitters and phase shifters.

This paper proposes a feasible scheme for the quantum teleportation of tripartite entangled coherent states by using linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photo detectors. The scheme is based on the bipartite maximally entangled coherent state and the tripartite entangled coherent state with bipartite maximal entanglement as quantum channels. It shows that when the mean number of photons is equal to 2, the total minimum of the average fidelity for an arbitrary tripartite entangled state is 1 – 0.67 × 10 −3 .

CONTINUOUS-VARIABLE QUANTUM TELEPORTATION OF MULTIPARTITE ENTANGLED COHERENT STATES

We investigate the problem of teleportation of tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) using linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters, and two-mode number measurements. The scheme is based on the maximally four-partite ECS with bipartite maximal entanglement as the quantum channel to teleportation tripartite ECS. Our scheme is efficient in the sense that for mean number of photons equal to 2, the minimum of average fidelity (MAF) for teleportation an arbitrary tripartite entangled state is 1-2.3 × 10-7. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite case and calculate the MAF for the schemes in multipartite cases.

Linear-optical teleportation of bipartite entangled coherent states via maximally entangled coherent channels

Shivani A. Kumar

This paper outlines a linear-optical protocol for the teleportation of bipartite entangled coherent states (ECSs) using maximally ECSs as quantum channels. The scheme relies on symmetric beam splitters, phase shifters, photon-number-resolved measurements, and conditional local phase operations. Successful teleportation is achieved probabilistically with a constant success rate of 50%, independent of the coherent-state amplitude [Formula: see text], and governed by the parity of the measurement outcomes. The absence of nonlinear optical processes or direct photon interactions renders the protocol experimentally feasible and scalable, making it suitable for applications in continuous-variable quantum communication, quantum information processing, and coherent-state entanglement distribution.

Continuous-Variable Quantum Teleportation of Entangled Coherent States

Sun Yong, Man Zhong-Xiao, Yun‐Jie Xia

We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) with continuous variable. Our scheme is feasible and economical in the sense that we need only linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photon detectors and employ three bipartite maximally ECSs as quantum channels. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite case and calculate the minimum average fidelity for the schemes in tripartite and multipartite cases.

A new optical scheme for teleportation of entangled coherent state

Jie‐Qiao Liao, Kuang Le-Man

We propose a nearly perfect optical scheme for the quantum teleportation of entangled coherent states using optical devices such as nonlinear Kerr media, beam splitters, phase shifters, and photon detectors. Different from those previous schemes, our scheme needs only ``yes'' or `no' measurements of the photon number of the related modes, i.e. nonzero- and zero-photon measurements, while in previous schemes one has to exactly identify the even or odd parity character of the photon numbers detected by detectors.

Quantum teleportation of a tripartite entangled coherent state

Shivani A. Kumar

The present work proposes a scheme to teleport a tripartite coherent state using an unparalleled four-component state as a quantum channel. The scheme involves linear optical devices like beam splitters and phase shifters. It is shown that, even by taking an uncompromising quantum model, almost a complete teleportation can be achieved with an impressive number of photons. It is also shown that the teleportation fails only if zero photons are found in all the three output modes or zero in two output modes and a nonzero even/odd photon in one mode. However, the probability of getting these output modes is almost negligible.
