Abstract

On the basis of the master equation for the density matrix the dynamics of the three-level atom interacting with two mode of quantum electromagnetic field in the damped cavity has been considered. The behavior of the mean populations of the atomic levels and photon numbers in modes has been investigated.

Dynamics of two three-level atoms in the finite-Q cavity

Eugene K. Bashkirov

On the basis of the master equation for the density matrix the dynamics of the collective spontaneous radiation of two (Lambda) - type three-level atoms interacting with two mode of quantum electromagnetic field in the damped cavity has been considered. The behavior of the photon numbers in modes and the atomic levels populations has been investigated in the case when only a single atom is excited at the initial time.

Dynamics of the collective spontaneous emission of two three-level atoms in a cavity

Eugene K. Bashkirov

Based on the master equation for the density matrix, the collective spontaneous emission of two A-type three-level atoms interacting with two modes of a quantum electromagnetic field in a finite- Q cavity is studied. The evolution of the emission intensity for each mode is found for the case where both atoms are initially in the excited state.

Effects of cavity damping on the entanglement for a three-level atomic system

A.‐S. F. Obada, H. A. Hessian, A.‐B. A. Mohamed

Based on the master equation for the density matrix, the dynamics of the entanglement of the three-level atom interacting with single-mode field in a finite-Q cavity are studied. It was found that the cavity damping leads to growing entropy and a strong degradation of the entanglement, therefore the coherence loss and entanglement is very sensitive to any change in the cavity damping parameter.

The dynamics of two-level atoms in a finite-q cavity with atom dissipation

Eugene K. Bashkirov, Русакова Маргарита Сергеевна, Русакова Маргарита Сергеевна

In this work we considered temporal behavior of squeezing and amplitude-squared squeezing of a two two-level atoms in a finite-Q cavity with atom dissipation. The analytic expressions for mean photon number and squeezing parameters are obtained on the basis of master equation solution for coherent input. Squeezing generation conditions are considered for various dissipation parameters values and coherent initial input.

The dynamics of an atom-field system with degenerate atomic levels and a polarization-degenerate mode of the quantised field in a damped micro-cavity

Abstract The master equation for the atom-field system with degenerate atomic levels and two polarization modes of the quantized field in a damped micro-cavity is obtained in the basis of eigenvectors of the interaction operator. The solution for the lossless cavity is obtained. The analytic expressions for the probability of emission of the photon in the cavity by an excited atom and of the photon polarization matrix are derived in the ‘strong coupling’ and ‘bad cavity’ approximations for arbitrary values of angular momenta of atomic levels. The dependence of the photon polarization on the polarization of the short excitation pulse is studied.
