Abstract

We present a scheme for generating a macroscopic entangled state and an entangled atomic pair through molecular condensates using photo-dissociation. In particular, we analyse the properties of the entangled states in detail.

Squeezing and Entanglement of Atomic Beams

L.-M. Duan, Anders Søndberg Sørensen, J. I. Cirac +1 more

We propose and analyze a scheme for generating entangled atomic beams out of a Bose-Einstein condensate using spin-exchanging collisions. In particular, we show how to create both atomic squeezed states and entangled states of pairs of atoms.

Creating Massive Entanglement of Bose-Einstein Condensed Atoms

Kristian Helmerson, Li You

We propose a direct, coherent coupling scheme that can create massively entangled states of Bose-Einstein condensed atoms. Our idea is based on an effective interaction between two atoms from coherent Raman processes through a (two atom) molecular intermediate state. We compare our scheme with other recent proposals for the generation of massive entanglement of Bose condensed atoms.

Scheme for entangling atom-photon pairs via an input light in superposition state

戴启润, Jiqing Fu, 景辉

We propose a feasible scheme to create macroscopically entangled atom-photon pairs by preparing an input optical superposition state.Several interesting non-classical quantum statistical effects like the atomic squeezed effects are clearly demonstrated. The making and manipulation of entangled atom-photon pairs are useful for, e.g., high-precision interferometry and quantum information science.

Origin of entanglement in an H(2𝑝) atom pair produced through the photodissociation of an H2 molecule

Hosaka Koichi, Yutaro Torizuka, Philipp Schmidt +4 more

In this paper, as a continuation of our recent article demonstrating that the 2p atom pair is entangled in the H2 photodissociation [Phys. Rev. A 111, 023116 (2025)], we have discovered the origins of the entanglement for the 2p atom-pair state and obtained the entanglement entropies by origins. The same investigation has been carried out for the precursor molecular state of the 2p atom pair. The reason for the increase of the entanglement entropy during the dissociation from the precursor molecule into the H(2p) + H(2p) atom pair has been made clear.
