Influence of entanglement degree on squeezing and photon antibunching in the Jaynes-Cummings model

Abstract

We consider the case that one of entangled atoms interacts with a single-mode cavity field. The atom is selectively detected after exiting the cavity, and it is found that the nonclassical properties of field states depend strongly on the entanglement degree between the two atoms. Meanwhile it is proven that squeezing of field and photon antibunching can be greatly enhanced via selective atomic measurements.

Squeezing enhancement in the Jaynes-Cummings model via selective atomic measurements

We study the model in which one of two entangled atoms interacts with a single mode cavity field based on the Jaynes Cummings model. Through measurement on the atom, the entanglement swapping can occur. It is proved that the squeezing may be greatly enhanced by conditional measurement on atoms.

Entanglement Swapping and Preparing Nonclassical Field by Nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings Model with an Entangled State of Atoms

Liu Ye

The interaction of a cavity field with an entangled state of atoms is studied according to the nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model. It is shown that the properties of the cavity field depend on not only the interaction time but also the nonlinear constant. After detecting an atom of the entangled state, the cavity field will be entangled with another atom even it is far away from the cavity. It is proved that the nonclassical properties of the field state are dramatically different from those in the case of no selective measurement.

Quantum Properties of the Field in the System of Λ-type Three-level Atom Interacting with Two-mode Coherent Light Field

卢道明 LU Dao-ming

Considering two Λ-type three-level atoms initially in the entangled state, one atom is poured into the cavity and interacts with a two-mode cavity. The squeezing and antibunching effects of the field are investigated. The influences of the selective atomic measurement and the intensity of the coherent field, which interacts with atom on squeezing and antibunching effect of the field, are discussed. The results obtained by numerical calculations show that squeezing and antibunching effect of the field can be strengthened through selective atomic measurement for atom outside of the cavity.

Nonclassical properties in non-degenerate two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model

Chen Xiao-we

The nonclassical properties such as antibunching effect, violation of Cauchy-Schwarz inequality and two-mode squeezing of the pair coherent states based on a non-degenerate two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model were investigated. It is shown that these nonclassical properties can be enhanced in the case that the coefficients are chosen appropriately or the atom is selectively detected. In addition, all kinds of the nonclassical properties by using(?)-type three-level atom are more effective than that using i4-type three-level atom.
