Entanglement Swapping and Preparing Nonclassical Field by Nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings Model with an Entangled State of Atoms

Abstract

The interaction of a cavity field with an entangled state of atoms is studied according to the nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model. It is shown that the properties of the cavity field depend on not only the interaction time but also the nonlinear constant. After detecting an atom of the entangled state, the cavity field will be entangled with another atom even it is far away from the cavity. It is proved that the nonclassical properties of the field state are dramatically different from those in the case of no selective measurement.

Influence of entanglement degree on squeezing and photon antibunching in the Jaynes-Cummings model

Ye Liu, Guo Guang-Can

We consider the case that one of entangled atoms interacts with a single-mode cavity field. The atom is selectively detected after exiting the cavity, and it is found that the nonclassical properties of field states depend strongly on the entanglement degree between the two atoms. Meanwhile it is proven that squeezing of field and photon antibunching can be greatly enhanced via selective atomic measurements.

Preparation of nonclassical states of a cavity field based on a nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings model

It is proven in this paper that some kinds of nonclassical quantum states of the cavity field, such as Schrödinger cat state (amplitude cat or phase cat), sub-Poissonian photon distribution and Fock state, etc., can be generated by conditional measurements on atoms in the two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model with a Kerr-like medium. The nonlinear constant plays the key modulation role in the preparation of the quantum states, which gives a new controllable parameter for further experimental researches in this field.

The Entangled of Cavity Field and Atom in The Two-Photon Jaynes-Cummings Model and The Degree of Entanglement

Xiaoping Li

We present a measure for generating entangled state of atom-cavity field, which is prepared based on the two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model of atom-cavity field interaction. Through changing the interaction time, the degree of entanglement of the atom-cavity field hasa periodic change. It is shown that the quantum entanglement state will stay in the maximally entangled state for a long time when the detuning is equal to Rabi frequency.

We study the model in which one of two entangled atoms interacts with a single mode cavity field based on the Jaynes Cummings model. Through measurement on the atom, the entanglement swapping can occur. It is proved that the squeezing may be greatly enhanced by conditional measurement on atoms.

The Scheme of Entanglement Swapping in two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model

Liu Hong

Based on the interaction of atoms and two-photon in cavity QED,the author proposes an entanglement swapping scheme without joint measurement using a two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model.By means of entanglement swapping,we get a nonmaximally entangled pair between an atom and a cavity mode which previously have not any interaction with each other.Through entanglement concentration,we can obtain a maximally entangled state. It can be used in quantum information processing.
