Abstract

We first derive the state vector of a V-type three-level atom interacting with two-mode SU (1,1) coherent states in a Kerr-like medium. It is shown by numericl calculations that the Kerr effect results indifferent characters of the Rabi oscillation, as compared with the two-levelatom case, while the correlation of the two-mode coherent states is less affected by the the Kerr medium. We also discuss the influence of Kerr effect on the Cauchy-Schwartz inequality.

DYNAMICS OF TWO-MODE SU(1,1) COHERENT STATES INTERACTING WITH THE V-TYPE THREE-LEVEL ATOM

Peng Jia

In this paper, we in vestigate the influence of the interaction between correla-ted two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states and a V type three-level atom on the ato-mic dynamic behavior, and discuss the time evolution of the quantum statistical pro-perties of two-mode field. The Rabi oscillations show complete different character~3 compared with initial two-mode squeezed vacuum states or SU(2) coherent states.

Quantum statistical properties of the light field in the interaction of the two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states with four-level atom added Kerr-like medium

Xie Fang-sen

The state function of the two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states field interacting with four-level atom added Kerr-like medium was derived. By using the state function it was studied that the influence of the Kerr effect and the initial light field intensity on the two-mode intensity correlation function, the Cauchy-Schwartz inequality, and the second-order correlation function for each mode. The results indicate that the influences of Kerr effects on the properties of the correlation on the correlation intensity between the two-mode on the bunching or antibunching effect of the two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states are obviously related to the initial intensity of the light field.

Photonic Bunching or Antibunching Effect of SU(1,1) CoherentStates Interacting Non-resonantly with a Λ-type Three-level Atom

Tan Zhen-xing

In the system of SU(1,1) coherent states interacting non-resonantly with a Λ-type three-level atom, the influences of detuning, Kerr medium and initial atomic state on the second-order coherence degree are investigated. The results show that the influence of Kerr medium is unobvious on the second-order coherence degree, that the detuning makes the influence of initial atomic state on the mode 1 weak and on the mode 2 strong, and that the initial atomic state effects on the second-order coherence degree for each mode, but the effects on the mode 1 are stronger than on the mode 2.

Atomic dipole squeezing in the system of the two-mode entangled coherent states interacting with a V-type three-level atom in Kerr medium

Cao Zhuo

Atomic dipole squeezing effects in the system of the two-mode entangled coherent states interacting with a V-type three-level atom in Kerr medium has been discussed. The results indicate that the atomic dipole squeezing effects depend on the degree of entanglement of the two-mode entangled coherent states, the coupling strength of the Kerr medium with the field, the detuning and the atomic initial state.

Effects of Kerr medium on two-mode field squeezing

Zhang Li

The field squeezing in the system of a three level atom embedded in a high Q cavity filled with Kerr medium is investigated. The effects of Kerr medium on two mode field initially in two mode squeezed vacuum state and SU(1,1) coherent state are analyzed. It is found that the influence of squeezing for the field initially in SU(1,1) coherent state is more evident that for the field initially in two mode squeezed vacuum.
