Abstract

In this paper we have studied the statistical and squeezing proprieties of light produced by superposition of a pair of single-mode squeezed chaotic light beams. Applying density operator of single-mode squeezed chaotic state; we obtain the anti-normal order characteristics function which enables us to find the Q function. With the resulting Q function, we calculate the photon statistics and the Quadrature squeezing for single-mode squeezed chaotic light. Moreover applying Q function of single-mode squeezed chaotic state the superposed light beams would be driven. With the resulting Q function we calculated the photon statics and the quadrature squeezing for superposed light beams. To get the maximum squeezing to be 95%, for nth = 0 and r = 1.5. Superposed Output Coherent and Squeezed Laser Light Beams

Habtamu Dagnaw

The aim of this paper is to analyze the squeezing and statistical properties of superposed output coherent and squeezed laser light beams. In order to carry out the analysis, we have obtained the superposition density operator along with the Q functions, we have calculated the mean photon number, the photon number variance and the quadrature variances for the superposed output light beams. It has been found that the mean photon number and quadrature variances of the superposed output light beams are the sum of the mean photon number and quadrature variances of the separate light beams, respectively. In addition, the mean photon number and quadrature squeezing of the superposed output light beams increase with linear gain coefficient. In order to carry out the analysis, we have obtained the superposition density operator along with the Q-functions, we have calculated the mean photon number, the photon number variance and the quadrature variance for the superposed three light beams. It has been found that the mean photon number and quadrature variances of the superposed three light beams are the sum of the mean photon numbers and quadrature variances of the separate light beams, respectively. The quadrature squeezing of the superposed three light beams is the average quadrature squeezing of the three light beams. Statistical Properties of Single-Mode Displaced Squeezed Vacuum State

Ruth Birhanu

In this paper the displaced squeezed vacuum state is produced by application of displaced operator on squeezed vacuum state. With help of density operator we find Q function, with the Q function mean, variance and quadrature variance would be calculated. From this we can determine the system has superpoissonian statics, the squeezed parameter is direct proportion with both mean and variance of photon number, but inversely proportion with quadrature variance. The squeezing occurs in plus quadrature with the maximum squeezing of 99.7% for r=3. Quantum Nature of Light in Displaced Squeezed Chaotic State

Sitotaw Eshete

In this work the squeezing and statistical properties for single-mode displaced squeezed chaotic state is analyzed with the help of the density operator for a single-mode light. It is found that the effect of the thermal light is to reduce the quadrature squeezing but increases the mean photon number.According to the generated results of analyzing the quadrature squeezing, the system has 98.17% of squeezing (in squeezed state) in which the system initial to be in vacuum state (no photon at all) and occurs at the squeeze parameter ( = 2).In addition, the squeeze parameter enhances both the quadrature squeezing and the mean photon number.

The Quantum Properties of a Superposition of Vee Type Three-level Lasers

Takele Teshome

The squeezing, and statistical properties of a superposed light beam produced by a lambda type three-level lasers configuration have been studied. We have determined the quadrature variances mean as well as variance photon number for cavity modes with the aid of the solutions of c-number Langevin equations associated with the normal order. We have carried out our analysis a light in a squeezing state can be produced by the system under consideration under the condition that the cavity decay constant is larger than the linear gain coefficient and the squeezing occurs in the minus-quadrature. Furthermore, we also obtain with the aid of the Q-functions and the density operator the superposition beam, and superposed light beams are determined in quadrature variance and mean photon number. The result shows that the mean photon number and the quadrature variance of the superposed light beam are the sum of the mean photon number and the quadrature variance of the constituent light beams.

The squeezing and statistical properties of a pair of superposed non-degenerate three-level lasers coupled to a squeezed vacuum reservoir could be analyzed with the help of the density operator for a pair of superposed twomode laser light. We have determined the quadrature variances of the cavity modes. The results show that the light produced by the system under consideration is in squeezed state.According to our work, the quadrature squeezing for a pair of superposed laser light beams is found to be the average of the quadrature squeezing of the separate lasers. The presence of squeezed vacuum reservoir enhances the quadrature squeezing significantly.
