Abstract

In this paper the displaced squeezed vacuum state is produced by application of displaced operator on squeezed vacuum state. With help of density operator we find Q function, with the Q function mean, variance and quadrature variance would be calculated. From this we can determine the system has superpoissonian statics, the squeezed parameter is direct proportion with both mean and variance of photon number, but inversely proportion with quadrature variance. The squeezing occurs in plus quadrature with the maximum squeezing of 99.7% for r=3. Quantum Nature of Light in Displaced Squeezed Chaotic State

Sitotaw Eshete

In this work the squeezing and statistical properties for single-mode displaced squeezed chaotic state is analyzed with the help of the density operator for a single-mode light. It is found that the effect of the thermal light is to reduce the quadrature squeezing but increases the mean photon number.According to the generated results of analyzing the quadrature squeezing, the system has 98.17% of squeezing (in squeezed state) in which the system initial to be in vacuum state (no photon at all) and occurs at the squeeze parameter ( = 2).In addition, the squeeze parameter enhances both the quadrature squeezing and the mean photon number.

Quantum Properties of Two-mode Squeezed Thermalized States

Mohammed Kelif

We have studied the statistical and squeezing properties of the Two-mode squeezed thermal light. We have calculated the mean of the photon number sum and difference, the variance of the photon number sum and difference, second order correlation function, the quadrature variance and quadrature squeezing, employing the Q function. We have found that the mean of the photon number sum for the two-mode squeezed thermal light is the sum of the means of the photon number sum of the separate modes and the photon statistic is super Poissonian. And the photon number of a two-mode squeezed thermal light is correlated and we have seen that the two-mode squeezed thermal light exhibiting the photon bunching effect. Moreover, the quadrature variance of the two-mode squeezed thermal light turns out to be the product of the quadrature variances of the two-mode thermal and two-mode squeezed vacuum states. The squeezing increase with increasing the squeeze parameter and with decreasing the mean photon number of thermal light. DOI: 10.7176/JNSR/11-23-01 Publication date: December 31 st 2020

Statistical and Squeezing Proprieties of Superposed Single-Mode Squeezed Chaotic State

Alemayehu Getahun Kumela

In this paper we have studied the statistical and squeezing proprieties of light produced by superposition of a pair of single-mode squeezed chaotic light beams. Applying density operator of single-mode squeezed chaotic state; we obtain the anti-normal order characteristics function which enables us to find the Q function. With the resulting Q function, we calculate the photon statistics and the Quadrature squeezing for single-mode squeezed chaotic light. Moreover applying Q function of single-mode squeezed chaotic state the superposed light beams would be driven. With the resulting Q function we calculated the photon statics and the quadrature squeezing for superposed light beams. To get the maximum squeezing to be 95%, for nth = 0 and r = 1.5. V-type Three-Level Laser Coupled to Squeezed Vacuum Reservoir

Gomera Biyazn, Misrak Gatahun

The squeezing, entanglement, and statistical properties of cavity modes produced by V-type three-level laser coupled to squeezed vacuum reservoir were studied employing the steady state solutions of the expectation values of the cavity mode operators. The study showed that a light in squeezing state can be produced by the system under consideration under the condition that the cavity decay constant is larger than linear gain coefficient and the squeezing occurs in the plus-quadrature. The cavity modes do not exhibit entanglement properties. It is also observed that the degree of squeezing increases with the linear gain coefficient and squeezing parameter. We also determined the mean and variance of the photon number, intensity difference fluctuations, and the second order correlation function of the two modes. The mean and variance of the photon number as well as the correlation function of two modes decrease as the difference of the probability of the two states at initial time increases. The photons have super-poissionian statistics. The point, η, at which the maximum intensity difference fluctuation occurred depends on linear gain coefficient but not squeezing parameter. The result shows that the correlation of the two modes decreases as η the linear gain coefficient and squeezing parameter.
