Abstract

Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) promises unconditionally secure communication based on the laws of physics. This paper explores the application of information theory to optimize the key distribution process within a QKD protocol. We propose an algorithm that leverages quantum entanglement to enhance key distribution efficiency and security. The core mechanism involves manipulating the state of entangled particles to shift the key towards a more secure state. The paper presents a novel approach to optimize the entanglement parameters, demonstrating potential improvements in key generation and security compared to existing QKD protocols. The study analyzes the impact of optimized entanglement on key generation, focusing on the reduction of computational complexity and the amplification of the security level.
