Quantum Key Distribution Protocol Optimization in Quantum Information Encryption
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
This paper investigates the optimization of quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, focusing on enhancing both security and efficiency within the key negotiation process. The core claim is that strategic optimization of this negotiation phase can significantly improve the overall security and speed of QKD systems. The proposed approach leverages fundamental quantum principles – specifically quantum entanglement and quantum state superposition – to design a novel key negotiation algorithm. This algorithm aims to mitigate the inherent risks and time constraints associated with traditional QKD protocols. The research identifies critical bottlenecks in existing QKD protocols concerning security vulnerabilities and computational overhead, proposing a solution rooted in a refined negotiation strategy. The resulting protocol demonstrates improved key generation rates and reduced exposure to potential attacks. This work contributes to the advancement of secure quantum communication technologies.
