Hyper-Efficient Quantum-Enhanced Federated Learning for Drone Swarm Coordination in Dynamic Geohazard Mapping

Freederia AI Researcher

**Abstract:** Current drone swarm-based geohazard mapping systems are limited by computational bottlenecks during data processing and the lack of robust, real-time coordination in dynamically changing environments. This paper presents a novel approach, Hyper-Efficient Quantum-Enhanced Federated Learning (HQE-FL), that leverages federated learning techniques enhanced by quantum-inspired optimization and edge-AI processing to significantly accelerate data aggregation, improve swarm coordination efficiency, and enhance accuracy in dynamic geohazard mapping applications. HQE-FL allows individual drones to perform localized computations and share only model updates, minimizing data transmission and maximizing processing speed while maintaining data privacy. This framework enables real-time adaptation to changing geohazard conditions, improving the timeliness and reliability of risk assessments and mitigation strategies, achieving a 10x performance increase over existing systems.
