Quantum Information Entropy Optimization: A Novel Adaptive Algorithm for Quantum Key Distribution

Jincheng Zhang

This paper introduces a novel adaptive algorithm for quantum key distribution (QKD) based on the principles of quantum information entropy. The algorithm leverages the unique properties of quantum information entropy to dynamically optimize key distribution protocols, thereby enhancing key security and reducing protocol complexity. We present a theoretical framework and preliminary implementation demonstrating the algorithm's effectiveness in enhancing key security and simplifying key distribution. The core mechanism centers around quantifying and manipulating the entropy of the key distribution process, leading to improved robustness against potential attacks. This work offers a significant advancement in QKD design, potentially revolutionizing the field through enhanced security and efficiency.

Quantum Key Distribution Protocol Optimization Based on Quantum Decoherence

Jincheng Zhang

This paper investigates the optimization of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols based on quantum decoherence. The core claim is to enhance key generation rates and security through intelligent protocol parameter tuning. Leveraging machine learning algorithms, we analyze the impact of decoherence noise, aiming to improve key generation efficiency and security. The proposed approach represents a novel application of machine learning within QKD, offering a significant pathway towards improved key distribution performance. We present a framework for adaptive parameter control, demonstrating the potential for substantial gains in key rates and robustness against decoherence effects. The research focuses on theoretical optimization, without experimental validation, providing a robust mathematical framework for understanding and improving current QKD protocols. The key performance metrics considered are key generation rate (R), Bit Error Rate (BER), and security level (Φ). The work contributes to the field by outlining a systematic methodology for utilizing machine learning to tackle the inherent challenges of decoherence in QKD systems. ---

Quantum-Safe Optimization of Asymmetric Encryption Algorithms

Jincheng Zhang

The pursuit of quantum-safe cryptographic algorithms is paramount in the face of emerging quantum computing threats. Existing quantum-safe asymmetric encryption algorithms, such as lattice-based cryptography and code-based cryptography, still present vulnerabilities within their key generation and key exchange processes. This paper investigates these vulnerabilities and proposes an optimization framework leveraging principles from quantum information theory and cryptography to enhance the security of these algorithms. The core claim is that existing quantum-safe asymmetric encryption algorithms have inherent weaknesses in their key generation and key exchange stages. The proposed mechanism utilizes quantum information theory to identify and mitigate these weaknesses, leading to a more secure key generation and key exchange process. Specifically, we explore the application of quantum key distribution (QKD) principles within the asymmetric encryption workflow, coupled with optimized parameter selection based on post-quantum hardness assumptions. The resulting optimized algorithms demonstrate improved resilience against potential attacks leveraging both classical and future quantum computing capabilities. This work contributes to the ongoing effort to develop truly quantum-safe cryptographic solutions.
