Abstract
--- This collection contains two papers that, based on the R-formula and the potential-field geometry framework, propose a guided wave resonance mechanism to unify the classic interference-related experiments in quantum mechanics. The first paper, "Guided Wave Resonance: The Physical Mechanism of Double-Slit Interference," points out that slit walls are not geometric boundaries but electromagnetic potential-field entities. A particle passes through only one slit, couples with the slit-wall potential field, and excites a guided wave. The guided wave propagates along the potential-field medium to the adjacent slit, inducing resonance. The guided waves from both slits interfere, forming the interference pattern. The particle does not need to pass through both slits simultaneously. Scanning gate microscopy experiments and the Farsight barrier experiment support this mechanism from different angles. The second paper, "Guided Wave Resonance: A Unified Mechanism for Delayed Choice, Quantum Erasure, and Identical Particle Interference," extends guided wave resonance to three classic quantum mechanical experiments. In delayed choice, guided waves already propagate along both paths, and the second beam splitter only determines whether they meet. In quantum erasure, the analyzer restores phase synchronization of the two guided waves rather than "deleting information." In identical particle interference, two guided waves necessarily couple in the beam splitter potential field, making independent paths physically impossible. All three experiments share the same physical heartbeat: guided wave resonance. Both papers propose multiple testable predictions: slit-wall material affects interference contrast, dual needle tips can replace double slits, mirror material affects delayed-choice interference visibility, and beam splitter coating affects the "bunching" probability of identical photons.
