No Dead Cats: Quantum Mechanics as Torsional Node Dynamics in the Structured Vacuum TVS23

Abstract

We resolve the foundational problems of quantum mechanics — wave function collapse, measurement problem, Schrödinger's cat, Heisenberg uncertainty, and energy discretization — by deriving quantum behavior from the torsional node dynamics of TVS23. The wave function is the torsional oscillation amplitude of a topological knot in the 23-channel vacuum network V23 (symmetry group A₅, generated by x³−x−1=0). The Born rule |ψ|² follows from the elastic energy density of V23, not from postulate. Wave function collapse is network relaxation to minimum torsional energy upon knot-knot interaction — no observer required, no physical collapse process occurs. The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is the minimum spatial resolution of the V23 network node, not a fundamental property of nature. Energy discretization follows from the allowed harmonic modes of topological knots in V23, corresponding to the irreducible representations of A₅ (dimensions 1, 3, 3, 4, 5). The Schrödinger equation is derived as the wave equation in a medium with refractive index n(r) = (23/21)exp(GM/c²r). Schrödinger's cat is alive or dead from the moment of the nuclear event — macroscopic superposition is thermodynamically impossible in V23. Copenhagen interpretation, many-worlds, and pilot wave theories are structurally unnecessary. Zero free parameters. Zero postulates. One polynomial.

Topological Mechanics: Quantum Theory as the Envelope Dynamics of a Structured Vacuum

ALFREDO LUIS ACOSTA PADILLA

Topological Mechanics derives the complete mathematical content of quantum theory from the TVS23 structured vacuum network V23, a discrete elastic medium with icosahedral symmetry A5 generated by the polynomial x^3 - x - 1 = 0. The Schrodinger equation is not postulated but derived: it is the exact envelope equation of a real material torsion wave (a knot) oscillating at its Compton carrier frequency, with Planck's constant emerging as a derived network quantity. The wavefunction is identified as the complex envelope of this real wave, and its squared modulus as torsional energy density rather than probability. Quantum tunnelling is exhibited directly in a purely classical real field, matching the quantum period to 0.3%. The chemical bond is derived as a shared standing mode of the torsion field across two vacuum cells, restoring binding in H2+ where orbital treatments fail. Electron correlation is identified as topological exclusion between identical electron knots, confirmed as the entire binding mechanism of the H- ion and directionally compressed in H2. Finally, the discreteness of the network is shown to be exactly invisible to long-wavelength probes due to the lack of degree-4 invariants in the A5 symmetry group (isotropic to machine precision).

Schrödinger: The Brilliant Plumber Quantum Mechanics as Vacuum Hydrodynamics in the 23-Channel Structured Space

ALFREDO LUIS ACOSTA PADILLA

We demonstrate that the Schrödinger equation is not a fundamental axiom of quantum mechanics but rather the linearized Navier-Stokes equation for torsion flow in a 23-channel structured vacuum. Schrödinger, like a brilliant plumber, discovered the correct equations for how "something" flows through the vacuum's pipes—but without knowing what that something was. Born and Bohr later convinced the world that nothing actually flows, and that ψ represents only "probability amplitude"—thus creating an artificial mystery and abandoning physical reality. We restore the water to the pipes: ψ is the local torsion of the pre-geometric tensor field Ξ_μν, |ψ|² is energy density, e^(iθ) is the helical rotation angle in channel 23, and the "probability current" j is actual hydrodynamic flow. All quantum "mysteries" (wave function collapse, superposition, tunneling, entanglement, uncertainty) emerge naturally from vacuum hydrodynamics without additional postulates. Quantum mechanics is not probabilistic—it is geometric fluid dynamics in disguise. We derive the Schrödinger equation from first principles, reinterpret all standard quantum phenomena as fluid behavior, and provide testable predictions distinguishing this framework from Copenhagen orthodoxy. Key results: (1) ψ = vacuum torsion field (physical, not probabilistic), (2) Schrödinger equation derived from Navier-Stokes, (3) quantum potential = pressure gradient, (4) momentum operator = helical screw geometry, (5) collapse = vortex stabilization at speed c, (6) entanglement = shared channel topology, (7) testable predictions: crystalline anisotropy (4% effect), vacuum viscosity (decoherence limit), propagation delays in entanglement. This work completes the demolition of Copenhagen interpretation and restores physical realism to quantum mechanics. The brilliant plumber (Schrödinger) gave us the pipes. We give you the blueprint.

The Schrödinger Cat Paradox as a Stability Problem in a Coercive Vacuum;

Maillot François

The Schrödinger cat paradox is often presented as evidence that quantum mechanics fundamentally conflicts with macroscopic reality. This short conceptual paper proposes a resolution based on the TUO–NS (Theory of the Universe as an Operator – Navier–Stokes–like) framework. In this approach, physical states are interpreted as elastic deformations of a coercive vacuum field. The linear superposition principle is shown to be an effective property, valid only in the regime of small, linearized perturbations around a stable background configuration: $$\mathcal{L}[\delta\psi_1 + \delta\psi_2] \approx \mathcal{L}[\delta\psi_1] + \mathcal{L}[\delta\psi_2]$$ At macroscopic scales, the vacuum energy functional $\mathcal{E}[\Psi]$ is coercive and admits only isolated local minima. Superpositions of distinct macroscopic configurations correspond to energetically unstable states: $$\mathcal{E}[\Psi_{dead} + \Psi_{alive}] \gg \mathcal{E}[\Psi_{dead}] + \mathcal{E}[\Psi_{alive}]$$ These states relax dynamically toward one of the admissible minima. The apparent “collapse of the wave function” is thus reinterpreted as a physical relaxation process, rather than an observer-dependent or probabilistic axiom. This framework provides a physically grounded explanation for the absence of macroscopic superpositions, without invoking external observers, measurement postulates, or modifications of quantum dynamics. This document is intended as a conceptual clarification complementary to the main TUO–NS technical papers, rather than as a replacement for standard quantum mechanics.

Orbital Angular Momentum from Knot Topology in the Structured Vacuum: Lz=mℏL_z = m\hbar Lz=mℏ as an Algebraic Identity in Wexp/TW_{\exp}/T Wexp/T

ALFREDO LUIS ACOSTA PADILLA

We derive the orbital angular momentum operator Lz=mℏL_z = m\hbar Lz=mℏ and the orbital quantum number lmax⁡=3l_{\max}=3 lmax=3 for the electron entirely within the Wexp⁡/TW_{\exp}/T Wexp/T framework over Q(e)\mathbb{Q}(e) Q(e), without postulates from quantum mechanics. The electron is the trefoil knot T(2,3)T(2,3) T(2,3) in the V23 vacuum network. The crossing number c=3c=3 c=3 of the trefoil, forced by the degree of the Acosta polynomial x3−x−1=0x^3-x-1=0 x3−x−1=0, equals lmax⁡l_{\max} lmax. The angular momentum operator Lz=−iℏδϕL_z = -i\hbar\delta_\phi Lz=−iℏδϕ acting on eigenstates E(e,imϕ)E(e,im\phi) E(e,imϕ) of Wexp⁡/TW_{\exp}/T Wexp/T produces exact eigenvalues mℏm\hbar mℏ with mm m integer by the coherence condition of the orbital field in V23. The standard Heisenberg uncertainty explanation for atomic stability is replaced by a topological argument: the trefoil is a fibered knot with Alexander polynomial Δe(t)=t2−t+1≠0\Delta_e(t)=t^2-t+1\neq 0 Δe(t)=t2−t+1=0, and the Viète condition ρ1ρ2ρ3=1\rho_1\rho_2\rho_3=1 ρ1ρ2ρ3=1 on the roots of x3−x−1=0x^3-x-1=0 x3−x−1=0 guarantees it cannot dissolve. The quantum of action ℏ\hbar ℏ is derived as the total action of one complete phase cycle of the V23 network: ℏV23=(1/J0)⋅ℏJ0=ℏ\hbar_{V23} = (1/J_0)\cdot\hbar J_0 = \hbar ℏV23=(1/J0)⋅ℏJ0=ℏ exactly, where J0=ln⁡ρ/232J_0 = \ln\rho/23^2 J0=lnρ/232 is the torsional dissipation constant. The 2l+1=72l+1=7 2l+1=7 orientations of orbital l=3l=3 l=3 follow algebraically from l=3l=3 l=3 with no additional assumptions. The complete Class A chain: x3−x−1=0→c=3→T(2,3)→l=3→7x^3-x-1=0 \to c=3 \to T(2,3) \to l=3 \to 7 x3−x−1=0→c=3→T(2,3)→l=3→7 orientations. Zero free parameters. No quantum mechanical postulates.

Operational Quantum Mechanics: Structural Dissolution of Schrödinger's Cat

T.O.

Operational Quantum Mechanics presents a structural reinterpretation of quantum theory grounded in two axioms derived from Cognitional Mechanics: non-commutativity of operations (A∘B ≠ B∘A) and finite operational resolution (Level of Detail). The wave function Ψ is redefined as Operational Potential Density (ρ_op) encoding resource distribution for Type I internal generation—the symmetrical counterpart to Universal Relativity's Type II external constraint expressed through operational delay δt(x). Quantum probability arises epistemically from finite resolution limits rather than ontologically from fundamental randomness. Wave function "collapse" becomes an operationally grounded Commit operation triggered by interface formation between systems, eliminating observer dependence and resolving the measurement problem through deterministic buffer resolution. Schrödinger's cat paradox dissolves structurally via four discrete operational steps: queueing of decay trigger as pending operation, thresholding at specific operational cycle, committing to single state via projection ρ ↦ P_iρP_i/Tr(P_iρP_i), and reporting as read command to pre-determined memory address. The cat exists in a pending execution state—not ontological superposition—until interface-triggered Commit resolves unresolved operational cycles below the resolution limit. Born rule statistics |Ψ|² = ρ_op are adopted as the canonical projection measure compatible with resource conservation and tensor-product linearity. Bell inequality violations follow from the logical impossibility of factorization under non-commutativity and finite resolution. This framework maintains strict mathematical equivalence with standard quantum mechanics while repositioning probability as an epistemic consequence of structural resolution limits inherent to non-commutative operational structures.

Eliminating the Observer Effect: Wave Function Collapse as Deterministic Topological Reconnection in a Condensate Vacuum

Oleg Yuryevich Kirchenko

The measurement problem and the subsequent collapse of the wave function remain the most philosophically contentious aspects of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics, notoriously requiring an active, conscious observer to define reality. We propose a deterministic, fluid-dynamic resolution derived from the Null-Vector Gravity (NVG) framework, wherein the quantum vacuum is treated not as empty space, but as a macroscopic, non-perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) condensate. In this model, an elementary particle such as an electron is not a point-mass governed by abstract probability amplitudes, but a stable topological defect—a localized displacement within the vacuum conformal structure. Prior to interaction, this defect propagates as a spatially extended solitary wave. We demonstrate mathematically that what is conventionally termed wave function collapse is the onset of a purely deterministic topological reconnection event. When the extended wave envelope encounters a macroscopic density gradient (e.g., the lattice of a detector screen), the vacuum displacement vectors undergo rapid non-linear contraction, snapping the delocalized energy back into a localized, point-like topological knot. This fluid-dynamic mechanism entirely eliminates the need for wave-particle duality and the observer effect, restoring objective realism to quantum mechanics while fully preserving the empirical interference patterns predicted by the Schrödinger equation.
