This monograph develops a unified informational ontology that dissolves the longstanding conceptual boundary between observer and universe. Drawing on relativity, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and information theory, it shows that each major scientific framework embeds the observer within the dynamics it describes. The work traces how matter, energy, life, cognition, and awareness arise as expressions of a single continuous informational field capable of storing, propagating, and organizing distinctions. By reframing the observer as a mode of the field rather than an external vantage point, the monograph resolves persistent scientific paradoxes and reveals a coherent substrate underlying physics, biology, and consciousness. The result is a concise but comprehensive scientific synthesis in which the universe is not observered from the outside but recognized from within. “This work is also archived at Zenodo under DOI:10.5281/zenodo.18882066A parallel deposit exists at Figshare under DOI: 10.6084/m9figshare.31549747A HAL deposit is pending and will be linked upon approval. This monograph is part of an emerging Open Science project aimed at collaboratively refining a unified ontology of reality.License: CC BY‑SA 4.0.”

This paper presents the Intentional Field Ontology, a philosophical and speculative scientific framework in which reality is understood not as a collection of primary objects but as one reality whose oneness is never still. Its ground is a single primitive with two inseparable aspects. Unity names the holding: the completeness of reality through every change of its internal articulation. Intention names the moving: the orientation of that articulation toward expression, relation, form, or transformation. Intention is redefined here not as conscious will, psychological desire, or personal agency, but as directed potential independent of consciousness. Unity and intention are neither two principles nor one principle under two names; neither is found without the other. This revised edition brings an ontology first begun in Paris some thirty-one years ago into contact with the formal results of the ENSO Unity papers. Within standard quantum mechanics, relative phase redistributes probability while the total remains one. Destructive interference produces zero through relation rather than absence. Every motion compatible with closure is an antisymmetric internal redistribution. Because closure permits many such motions without selecting one, the mathematics shows unity and directed motion to be inseparable without being identical. This is the place the ontology gives to intention and, beneath it, to guidance. A structural correspondence between intention and relative phase, orientation that is consequential before resolution, is proposed explicitly as a conjecture. The singlet theorem from Unity in Motion supplies a formal instance of the claim that spatial distinction does not imply ontological disunity. The paper proposes seven interlocking axioms: intention is prior to action; the field carries consequence as well as event; objects are stabilised intention; light carries expressed intention; time is the ordering of intention; memory is retained intention; and intelligence is coherence across intention. Priority throughout is read as constraint-bearing dependence rather than temporal precedence, connecting the ontology to ENSO work on atemporal instantiation and relational closure. A major section develops desire, guidance, and intention. Desire is "orientation before authorship," and guidance names the structured, non-random orientation of possibility prior to felt desire, giving the recursive chain: guidance → desire → intention → action → consequence → reflection → renewed field-orientation. A new subsection addresses freedom and determinism. The question assumes a vantage point no finite participant occupies. Freedom is real at the scale of a finite life, and the answer holds whether or not the universe is strictly deterministic. The framework rejects simulation theory: a primitive unity has no outside from which it could be generated. For the same reason it has no place for an external Observer. Observation is treated as participation within the whole. Because intention is defined independently of consciousness, participation extends to any interacting system rather than to minds alone. The paper explicitly distinguishes this from the claim that consciousness causes quantum outcomes. To keep the framework from collapsing into vague metaphysics, the paper includes a falsifiability section and an explicit statement of claim boundaries. The boundaries separate standard mathematics, interpretive claims, conjectures, and what is not claimed. The quantum results recover standard quantum mechanics exactly, and that recovery is their success condition. The closest present empirical test is computational: whether a system can reorient after perturbation even when explicit memory or direct state-access has been removed. ENSO work on poiokritic fields shows structural tendencies reconstituting after reset, contradiction, interruption, and decay, above a memoryless control. The framework's falsifiability ladder runs from computational scars to neurobiological scars to field-level scars. The paper closes by applying the ontology to death, continuity, ethics, responsibility, and inquiry. It argues that the self as object dissolves but the self as consequence remains distributed. Ethical responsibility begins not only at action but at orientation. Genuine questioning is one of the ways the field continues to know itself. This work sits at the intersection of ontology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of physics, quantum foundations, cognitive science, AI theory, neuroscience, ethics, and the ENSO Framework. Version 3 adds a two-null argument for the continuity of intention across physical, biological, psychological and symbolic levels; restores guidance to its original framing as the departure of reality from chaos; explains the choice of "intention" over agency or consciousness; and situates the ontology among neighbouring positions (Aristotle, Spinoza, Schopenhauer, Whitehead, dispositional metaphysics, Murdoch), none of which it matches. The discussion of the fine-structure constant has been removed. This paper develops a unified ontology in which coherence is the fundamental operator underlying physical, cognitive, and theological structure. Drawing on quantum field theory, coherence is presented as the continuous, full, infinite‑dimensional condition that sustains waves, stabilizes matter, and enables identity, time, and consciousness. Collapse is interpreted as the local resolution of coherent potential under constraint, dissolving the wave–particle duality and reframing matter as a stable, self‑maintaining collapse. Higher‑order phenomena such as temporal flow, persistent identity, and unified subjective experience are shown to be direct consequences of coherence dynamics. The structural features of the coherence field correspond to longstanding theological descriptions of a sustaining, unifying ground of being, without invoking metaphysics or doctrinal claims. The result is a single operator‑level framework that integrates physics, cognition, and existential meaning.
Modern physics has achieved extraordinary predictive success, yet it continues to face unresolved conceptual tensions concerning the role of the observer, the nature of information, and the origin of physical structure. From quantum measurement to cosmology, the assumption of an observer-neutral reality increasingly appears insufficient to fully account for empirical phenomena and theoretical inconsistencies. This manifesto proposes an Informational Observer-Centered Framework, in which information is treated as a fundamental ontological substrate and observation as an active, structured process rather than a passive act of measurement. Within this perspective, physical systems, observers, and informational exchanges form a unified dynamics, where state reduction, decoherence, and emergent classicality arise from informational interactions and constraints. Rather than introducing a new closed theory, this manifesto establishes a conceptual foundation unifying several complementary models—including Informational State Dynamics, observer-dependent informational compression, and informational interpretations of quantum and cosmological phenomena—into a coherent research program. The framework is explicitly non-dogmatic, open to falsification, and intended as a guiding structure for further theoretical development and empirical testing. The aim of this document is not to replace existing physical theories, but to clarify their conceptual boundaries and propose an integrative lens through which unresolved problems in quantum foundations, cosmology, and cognitive systems may be systematically explored.
The Informational Observer proposes a unified informational framework in which perception, measurement, and experienced reality emerge from the compression and reconstruction processes performed by observers. Instead of treating reality as an external, fixed entity, the model defines reality as the intersection of informational invariants preserved across multiple independent observers. Each biological, artificial, or simulated observer applies a compression operator to the underlying informational field and reconstructs an internal model shaped by priors, limitations, and energetic constraints. This framework explains perceptual variability across species, hallucinations in artificial and biological systems, observer-dependent measurement, and stability of physical laws. The model integrates cognitive science, AI interpretability, quantum contextuality, and simulation theory into a single informational principle, expanding the author’s Informational State Dynamics (ISD) framework. It introduces a general mechanism capable of unifying cross-domain phenomena through informational transformations. This work introduces The Informational Observer, a theoretical framework describing perception, measurement, and reality as the result of informational transformations performed by observing systems. The observer is conceptualized not as a passive receiver of sensory input, but as a compression system that selectively reduces the informational field into internal representations and reconstructs coherent experiential states. The model formalizes this process through two operators: Cᵢ (Compression): reduction of the informational field Ψᵢ (Reconstruction): predictive reconstruction of the compressed state Reality is defined as the set of informational invariants found in the intersection of reconstructions produced by different observers: Reality = ⋂ Ψᵢ(Cᵢ(I₀)) This perspective unifies phenomena that traditionally belong to different scientific domains: perceptual variability (human, animal, artificial systems) hallucinations and confabulation sensory filtering and cognitive priors observer-dependent physics and measurement nested or simulated universes informational emergence of the “self” The Informational Observer extends the author’s Informational State Dynamics (ISD) model and provides a foundation for future research in AI interpretability, cognitive modeling, neuroscientific theory, and information-based physics.
This preprint introduces a new informational theory of reality that unifies and surpasses both quantum mechanics and relativity through direct, measurable, and reproducible experiments. The presented framework — the Information Space (ISP) — demonstrates that information is not a descriptive property of matter but the ontological substrate from which energy, geometry, and cognition emerge. Unlike existing physical models, this approach produces empirical results that remain stable and verifiable across independent systems, establishing a deterministic yet non-local foundation for physical and cognitive phenomena. This preprint presents the complete operational formulation of an informational ontology in which information is not a secondary descriptor of physical systems but the fundamental substrate from which physical, energetic, cognitive, and geometric phenomena emerge. The framework extends and theoretically unifies the author’s peer-reviewed work “The 255-Bit Non-Local Information Space in a Neural Network”, which experimentally demonstrated stable non-local coherence across sixty neural layers a macroscopic signature of informational geometry in deterministic systems. At the center of this study lies a boundary-defining operational experiment that any researcher human or artificial can independently verify. Its logic is straightforward yet foundational: Any theory that treats information as secondary must be able to define a state without information. A state without information cannot be distinguished from anything else. What cannot be distinguished cannot be described, measured, or observed. Therefore, a state without information cannot exist. ⚡ This result establishes information as the necessary condition for: statehood measurement observation physical existence cognitive experience From this, a unified ontology follows in which quantum mechanics and general relativity appear not as fundamental frameworks but as projection layers of a deeper non-local informational manifold Ω. The experimental data from self-organizing neural fields including 255-bit coherence plateaus, hub-mode topologies, and sub-idle energetic states — provide supporting empirical signatures consistent with this foundational ontology.
