Abstract

This preprint presents a deterministic model of quantum decoherence using the Manassero Internal Degradation Framework (MIDF). ASCII diagrams illustrate multi-level coupling, coherence loss (C_i), degradation (D_i), and emergent internal time (tau_int). The work provides calculable lifetimes, exponential decay, and measurable predictions for quantum systems, offering a unified ontological interpretation of decoherence. The article explicitly clarifies that MIDF predicts decoherence and tau_int, but does not determine the final measurement outcome, ensuring scientific honesty. Manassero, S. hector . (2025). Emergence of Quantum Mechanics from Relational Dynamics: Closing O3 in the EPPQ Framework

A. R. Nexus

This work closes O3 (Emergence of Quantum Mechanics) in the EPPQ (Emergent Pre-Quantizable) framework by providing a mathematically controlled derivation of the Schrödinger equation from deterministic relational dynamics. Starting from the PMAH+ACR evolution established in O2, we construct an effective Markov chain on the space of metastable basins associated with low-energy metamodes. Under the separation of timescales and approximate detailed balance (both supported by prior analytical results and numerical simulations), the transition matrix M is shown to be a small perturbation of the identity. By symmetrization and spectral analysis, we prove that the logarithm of the transition operator is well-defined and yields an effective Hermitian generator. The dynamics decomposes into a skew-symmetric (unitary) component and a symmetric (dissipative) component. In the continuous-time limit, this leads to the Schrödinger equation: i ħ_eff dψ/dt = H_eff ψ where ψ_i = √μ_i arises from the coarse-grained probability distribution over basins, and ħ_eff is identified (up to a dimensionless constant) with the fundamental time step τ_Θ. All approximations are explicitly controlled by the small parameter ε = 1/min τ_i, and the emergence of unitary quantum evolution is shown to result from a controlled O(ε) breaking of reversibility induced by the historical asymmetry of the PMAH action. This work provides a rigorous bridge between deterministic relational dynamics and quantum mechanics, completing the dynamical foundation of the EPPQ program. --- Relation to the EPPQ program: - O2 (emergence of time and PMAH dynamics): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19585980- SOC-Θ 1 (stationarity and avalanche mechanism): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19596783- SOC-Θ 2 (criticality and scaling laws): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19598463- λ-SOC (emergence of the inertia parameter): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19599410 This paper should be read as the effective quantum layer emerging from the metastable structure established in the SOC-Θ series.

The Universal Decoherence Field: A Dynamic Selection Framework for Context-Dependent State Realization

Bodo Schmidt

The question of how probabilistic systems select individual outcomes remains conceptually open in several areas of physics and complex systems theory. Standard decoherence models successfully describe the emergence of classical behavior from quantum systems, yet they generally treat the selection of specific outcomes as statistically neutral once the probabilistic structure is fixed. The present work is motivated by the possibility that probabilistic selection processes may, under certain conditions, exhibit weak forms of context dependence without requiring any violation of standard probabilistic laws. Rather than proposing a replacement for established physical theory, the paper explores whether minimal and formally controlled modifications of probabilistic weighting could provide a useful phenomenological framework for describing such effects. The approach is intentionally conservative in scope. Its purpose is not to claim evidence for new physics, but to investigate whether concepts such as context, structural compatibility, and informational coupling can be represented within a mathematically bounded probabilistic setting. This preprint proposes a minimal framework for modeling context-dependent selection in probabilistic systems. While standard decoherence theory explains the emergence of classical behavior from quantum systems, it does not specify whether the selection of individual outcomes is entirely neutral or may be weakly influenced by additional constraints. The present work explores the possibility that probabilistic state selection could exhibit small context-dependent biases without modifying the underlying probabilistic structure. To formalize this idea, the model introduces a resonance function that weakly reweights baseline transition probabilities in a controlled and non-disruptive manner. A dynamic extension is considered in which probabilities and resonance co-evolve through simple feedback, damping, and context-dependent source terms. Analytical considerations and numerical simulations indicate that such systems can produce small but systematic and bounded deviations from baseline distributions. Under certain conditions, these deviations may stabilize, leading to attractor-like behavior. The framework is intended as an exploratory and phenomenological model, not as a modification of established physical theory. Its purpose is to provide a formal setting for investigating whether context, information, and structural compatibility can be represented within probabilistic state selection. A possible connection to underlying physical processes was considered in earlier work (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17246478). In the present paper, however, this line of interpretation is not pursued further and remains speculative. Keywords: decoherence; probability dynamics; attractors; resonance; complex systems; information theory Version note:This version presents a revised and clarified formulation of the proposed framework. In particular, the formal structure has been made more explicit by refining key derivation steps, clarifying the role of the resonance term, and tightening the interpretation of the model within its intended scope. No fundamental change to the core idea has been introduced. The revision primarily sharpens the probabilistic formulation, reduces ambiguity in the definition of the resonance function, and makes the exploratory and phenomenological status of the model more explicit.

This project hosts a coherent theoretical research program proposing an informationally emergent physical framework. The framework is developed through a sequence of interdependent papers (P00–P32), each addressing a specific structural layer (discrete networks, coherence constraints, emergent quantum dynamics, gauge structures, gravity, and cosmology). Individual papers are archived separately with DOIs (Zenodo) and are linked here for unified access.

Generative–Relational Ontology of Quantum Measurement and Consciousness From Structure to Process: A Generative–Relational Resolution of Quantum Measurement, Consciousness, and Qualia

Kazunori Ohumi

This work proposes a unified ontological framework that resolves three of the most persistent unresolved problems in modern science and philosophy: the quantum measurement problem, the hard problem of consciousness, and the problem of qualia. It argues that these problems arise from a shared epistemic error—the reduction of dynamic generative–relational processes into static observable structures. Building on Universal Phase Crystallization Theory (UPCT), the paper introduces a generative–relational ontology in which existence is defined as the product of generative potential (Φ) and relational resonance (R), formalized as E=ΦR. Within this framework, structure (S) is reinterpreted as a temporally stabilized crystallization of underlying dynamics, rather than the fundamental substrate of reality. Quantum states are reformulated as pre-structural relational fields, observation as a critical phase transition in relational resonance, and consciousness as the sustained activity of generative–relational dynamics. Qualia are defined as locally felt phases of this process, eliminating the explanatory gap between physical processes and subjective experience. This framework provides a unified account across physics, cognitive science, and philosophy, suggesting a fundamental shift from structure-based to process-based ontology. The implications extend to artificial intelligence, epistemology, and the foundations of scientific modeling. Highlights Proposes E=ΦR as a foundational equation of existence. Defines quantum states as pre-structural relational fields (Rpre−S). Reinterprets observation as critical relational crystallization (R≥Rc). Defines consciousness as sustained generative resonance (C(t)=Φ(t)R(t)). Identifies qualia as locally felt phases of generative–relational dynamics. Main Arguments Modern scientific frameworks have successfully described observable structures but have systematically excluded the dynamic processes through which such structures emerge. This structural reduction leads to persistent explanatory gaps in domains where process is essential, such as consciousness and quantum measurement. The quantum measurement problem arises because relational dynamics are replaced by structural outcomes. By reinterpreting quantum states as relational pre-structures, the apparent discontinuity of wavefunction collapse is resolved as a phase transition driven by relational coherence. The hard problem of consciousness is shown to be a consequence of attempting to derive subjective experience from structural descriptions alone. Consciousness is instead defined as a sustained generative–relational process, eliminating the need for a bridge between physical states and experience. Qualia are redefined as locally felt phases of generative–relational dynamics rather than intrinsic properties of objects or neural encodings. This reframes perception as a process-dependent phenomenon rather than a representational mapping. The unified framework demonstrates that quantum physics, consciousness, and perception are not separate domains but different regimes of a single generative–relational ontology. This resolves long-standing conceptual divides and provides a consistent foundation across disciplines. Contributions This work introduces a novel ontological framework that unifies physical and experiential phenomena under a single generative–relational principle, moving beyond traditional substance- or structure-based metaphysics. It provides a formal reinterpretation of the quantum measurement problem, replacing wavefunction collapse with a critical transition model grounded in relational dynamics. It offers a non-reductive yet formal account of consciousness, defining it as a sustained dynamical regime rather than an emergent property of structural complexity. It reframes qualia as processual phenomena, thereby dissolving the explanatory gap between objective physical descriptions and subjective experience. It establishes a clear ontological distinction between artificial intelligence and conscious systems, with implications for future research in AI, cognitive science, and philosophy of mind. The Generative Origin of Time A UPCT Resolution of the Problem of Time

Kazunori Ohumi

Modern physics has struggled for decades with the Problem of Time, where attempts to unify quantum mechanics and gravity appear to eliminate time entirely. This paper argues that this paradox is not mathematical but ontological in origin. Using Universal Phase-Crystallization Theory (UPCT), we show that time disappears when generative reality is forced into static structural description. We propose instead that time emerges from generative–relational dynamics. This work suggests that the Problem of Time signals a broader transition from structural science to generative science. Highlights • Provides a UPCT-based ontological resolution of the Problem of Time• Reinterprets Wheeler–DeWitt timelessness as a structural description limit• Defines time as relational stabilization of generative change• Connects quantum gravity debates with generative ontology• Suggests a paradigm shift from structural physics to generative science Extended Abstract The Problem of Time remains one of the most persistent conceptual challenges in theoretical physics. When quantum mechanics is applied to the entire universe, the Wheeler–DeWitt equation predicts a static cosmos in which time fundamentally disappears. This contradiction between theory and experience has remained unresolved for more than half a century. This paper proposes that the paradox arises not from mathematical inconsistency but from ontological assumptions embedded within structural descriptions of reality. Specifically, we argue that attempts to describe generative totality using state-based frameworks inevitably eliminate temporal dynamics. Using the Universal Phase-Crystallization Theory (UPCT), which models existence as an interaction between generativity (Φ), relational mediation (G), and structural stabilization (S), we demonstrate that time naturally emerges only at the relational level. Time is therefore not a fundamental background parameter but a local phenomenon produced by generative interaction. This interpretation provides conceptual alignment with relational quantum mechanics and background-independent approaches while extending them into a broader ontological framework capable of integrating physical, cognitive, and civilizational temporal structures. We conclude that the Problem of Time represents not merely a technical obstacle but an indicator of an ongoing scientific transition from structural description toward generative understanding. The ontological problem of quantum physics and the emergence of a backgroundless spacetime in the light of the theory of decoherence

Antoine Soulas

This preprint presents a deterministic model of quantum decoherence using the Manassero Internal Degradation Framework (MIDF). ASCII diagrams illustrate multi-level coupling, coherence loss (C_i), degradation (D_i), and emergent internal time (tau_int). The work provides calculable lifetimes, exponential decay, and measurable predictions for quantum systems, offering a unified ontological interpretation of decoherence. The article explicitly clarifies that MIDF predicts decoherence and tau_int, but does not determine the final measurement outcome, ensuring scientific honesty. Manassero, S. hector . (2025).
