Abstract

This project hosts a coherent theoretical research program proposing an informationally emergent physical framework. The framework is developed through a sequence of interdependent papers (P00–P32), each addressing a specific structural layer (discrete networks, coherence constraints, emergent quantum dynamics, gauge structures, gravity, and cosmology). Individual papers are archived separately with DOIs (Zenodo) and are linked here for unified access.

01 - Axiomatic Foundation of a Coherence-Driven Discrete Informational Framework

Enrico Ferrero

This series presents a structured and logically sequential formulation of a discrete informational framework governed by global coherence constraints. Although it originates from the same research program developed in the earlier exploratory preprint series (P-series), the works presented here constitute an autonomous and self-contained series, organized in a progressively axiomatic form and focused on the explicit derivation of the framework’s effective structures. The goal of the construction is to investigate whether structures commonly associated with quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and geometry may emerge from a discrete relational substrate without being introduced as fundamental postulates. Each article addresses a specific level of the theoretical derivation and forms part of a progressive logical structure based on results established in the preceding works of the series. This article develops the axiomatic foundation of the framework and introduces the discrete informational system underlying the construction. The paper defines the admissible configuration space, the local update structure, the global coherence constraint, and the dynamical selection principles leading to the emergence of a coherent sector. The analysis establishes the existence, invariance, and structural uniqueness of the coherent sector, together with the effective restrictions that prepare the minimal two-component structure developed in Paper 02 and the emergent quantum framework constructed in Paper 03. No quantum-mechanical, geometric, or probabilistic structure is assumed at the foundational level. The purpose of the work is to establish the minimal structural and dynamical layer from which the later effective constructions emerge.

00 - A Coherence-Driven Informational Framework: Structure, Scope, and Current Results

Each article addresses a specific level of the theoretical derivation and forms part of a progressive logical structure based on results established in the preceding works of the series. This article introduces the general structure, scope, and current status of the framework. The work provides an organized overview of the results developed in the first articles of the series, clarifies the overall logic of the theoretical construction, and situates the framework within a broader research program dedicated to the emergence of quantum, thermodynamic, and geometric structures from informational coherence constraints. The article does not introduce new specific physical postulates, but serves a methodological and introductory role: it defines the conceptual setting of the series, the relation between the different levels of the derivation, and the interpretative and theoretical limitations currently assumed within the framework.

04 - Emergence of Thermodynamics from a Coherence Driven Discrete Informational Framework

Enrico Ferrero

This series presents a structured and logically sequential formulation of a discrete informational framework governed by global coherence constraints. Although it originates from the same research program developed in the earlier exploratory preprint series (P-series), the works presented here constitute an autonomous and self-contained series, organized in a progressively axiomatic form and focused on the explicit derivation of the framework's effective structures. This article derives thermodynamics as the unique coarse-grained consequence of coherence loss within the informational framework established in Papers 01–03. Starting from the coherence-selected physical sector and its effective quantum description, the work introduces coarse-graining as a constructive mechanism and studies the emergence of irreversible macroscopic behavior from an underlying coherence-preserving dynamics. The analysis derives entropy as the unique information-loss functional compatible with the structural constraints of the framework, proves the second law as a monotonicity consequence of the induced semigroup evolution, and establishes the relation between quantum coherence reduction and thermodynamic behavior. Equilibrium, temperature, and thermodynamic potentials are obtained as structural consequences rather than independent postulates. No thermodynamic laws are assumed at the foundational level. The purpose of the article is to show how thermodynamic structure may emerge as an effective macroscopic description of the same informational dynamics that gives rise to quantum mechanics.

Manifesto for an Informational Observer-Centered Framework Toward a Unified Theory of Information, Observation, and Reality

Giuseppe Junior Greco

Modern physics has achieved extraordinary predictive success, yet it continues to face unresolved conceptual tensions concerning the role of the observer, the nature of information, and the origin of physical structure. From quantum measurement to cosmology, the assumption of an observer-neutral reality increasingly appears insufficient to fully account for empirical phenomena and theoretical inconsistencies. This manifesto proposes an Informational Observer-Centered Framework, in which information is treated as a fundamental ontological substrate and observation as an active, structured process rather than a passive act of measurement. Within this perspective, physical systems, observers, and informational exchanges form a unified dynamics, where state reduction, decoherence, and emergent classicality arise from informational interactions and constraints. Rather than introducing a new closed theory, this manifesto establishes a conceptual foundation unifying several complementary models—including Informational State Dynamics, observer-dependent informational compression, and informational interpretations of quantum and cosmological phenomena—into a coherent research program. The framework is explicitly non-dogmatic, open to falsification, and intended as a guiding structure for further theoretical development and empirical testing. The aim of this document is not to replace existing physical theories, but to clarify their conceptual boundaries and propose an integrative lens through which unresolved problems in quantum foundations, cosmology, and cognitive systems may be systematically explored.

03 - Emergence of Quantum Mechanics and Born Measure from a Coherence-Driven TwoField Discrete Framework

This article develops the emergence of Hilbert-space structure and Schrödinger-type effective dynamics from the coherent two-field sector established in Paper 02. The work demonstrates that the global coherence constraints imposed on the discrete informational substrate naturally generate an effective complex representation endowed with linear superposition properties and unitary-preserving evolution. The analysis shows that the two-component coherent sector admits a mathematically stable reformulation equivalent to a Hilbert-space structure, and that the effective evolution of the coherent amplitudes leads to a Schrödinger-type dynamical equation without introducing quantum mechanics as an initial assumption. The article further derives the probabilistic interpretation associated with the effective amplitudes and clarifies how quantum-like statistical behavior emerges from the internal coherence conditions of the underlying discrete system. No quantum postulates are assumed at the foundational level. The purpose of the article is to demonstrate that the formal structures associated with quantum mechanics can emerge as effective consequences of coherence-preserving informational dynamics. The article does not assume quantum mechanics as a foundational theory and does not postulate the Hilbert-space formalism a priori. Instead, the work demonstrates that, within the internal hypotheses and coherence constraints of the proposed discrete informational framework, structures mathematically equivalent to Hilbert-space representations and Schrödinger-type evolution can arise as effective emergent descriptions. The purpose of the derivation is therefore not to reproduce standard quantum mechanics by assumption, but to show that quantum-like formal structures may consistently emerge from deeper coherence-preserving informational dynamics.

Causality and Arrow of Time

Mikhail Pavlov

Description Causality and Arrow of Time is a unifying theoretical work within the author’s ongoing research program on discrete quantum process structures. The paper provides a formal, process-level derivation of causality and the arrow of time as emergent properties of branching quantum dynamics, rather than as fundamental primitives. The central methodological contribution of this work is the use of P-Tacts (П-такты) as primitive units of quantum evolution. Each P-Tact is defined as an irreducible process consisting of a local unitary operation and an entangling unitary operation. From sequences and superpositions of such P-Tacts, directed process graphs naturally arise. Within these graphs, causal relations and temporal ordering are shown to emerge from topology and branching structure, without invoking an external or background time parameter. This article synthesizes and extends the results developed across the author’s previous works, to which it is explicitly self-referential. In particular, it unifies earlier analyses of quantum switch, indefinite causal order, teleportation, emergent time, and Everettian branching into a single causal framework. The present work directly builds upon and integrates the following publications: Pavlov, M. (2026). Quantum Switch as an Emergent Process Structure from Discrete Process Tacts (П-такт).Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18498181 Pavlov, M. (2026). P-Tact (П-такт) as the Primitive Unit of Quantum Theory.Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18516711 Pavlov, M. (2026). Indefinite Causal Order as a Graph-Theoretic Property of P-Tact Networks.Zenodo (companion work within the same research program). Pavlov, M. (2026). Branching Dynamics and Everettian Memory Structures.Zenodo (companion work within the same research program). Pavlov, M. (2026). Discrete Process Foundations of Quantum Measurement.Zenodo (companion work within the same research program). Together, these works form a coherent research program in which causality, temporal direction, and branching structure are not postulated but constructed from discrete quantum processes. A key conceptual motivation of this paper is the historical observation that foundational insights often precede the formal tools required to express them precisely. In this spirit, the present framework may be read as a formal completion of ideas first articulated by Hugh Everett III. Everett’s conception of universal wavefunction branching, proposed more than seventy years ago, anticipated many structural features of modern quantum information theory, yet lacked an explicit process-level formalization. This work offers such a formalization. Everettian branching is interpreted here as a concrete graph-theoretic phenomenon generated by P-Tact dynamics, with causal order and the arrow of time emerging as derived, observable features of the branching network. In this sense, the paper does not revise Everett’s ideas but renders them mathematically operational, linking early conceptual foundations to contemporary quantum technologies such as quantum switch, teleportation, and indefinite causal order. The article thus stands as both a technical contribution to quantum foundations and quantum information theory, and as a scholarly tribute to Everett’s legacy—demonstrating that ideas once considered purely interpretational can now be expressed within a precise and testable structural framework.
