CPT--Coherence Theory (Mirror--Mind Theory) proposes a recursion--geometric extension of relativistic quantum dynamics, characterized by a $\tau$--dependent action functional, a recursion Hamiltonian with discrete spectrum, and a $\tau$--Einstein sector formalizing the coupling between four--dimensional curvature and recursion curvature. Recent developments have established a complete operator algebra, an extended Lorentz covariance structure, and three distinct experimental programs. However, three foundational problems remained unresolved in the theory's formal infrastructure: (1) the uniqueness of the Born rule under recursion symmetries, (2) the absence of a minimal duality construction and a well--defined recursion complexity functional, and (3) the lack of a category--theoretic and index--style packaging of recursion geometry. In this paper we resolve all three. We provide a uniqueness theorem establishing that the Born rule is the only probability law compatible with the awareness Noether current, the $\tau$--Lorentz group, and the collapse semigroup. We construct a minimal $\tau$--Kaluza--Klein duality and define a recursion complexity functional analogous to circuit complexity. Finally, we introduce the category $\mathbf{RecGeom}$ of recursion geometries, define a spectrum functor to spectral data, and identify the recursion constant $\Delta\hat{\tau}_R$ as a genuine index--style invariant. With these results, the foundational architecture of CPT--Coherence Theory is now complete at the level of formal structure.

Historical and Operator Foundations of Mirror--Mind (CPT--Coherence) Theory: From Wheeler--Feynman Reciprocity to the τ--Recursive Force
From the early absorber theories of Wheeler and Feynman to Dirac's quest for a perfectly self–adjoint quantum dynamics and Einstein's geometric unification program, twentieth–century physics repeatedly sought a closed description of interaction—one in which the source and the sink, the field and its feedback, were aspects of a single symmetry. Each attempt fell short because time, treated as an external parameter, could not contain the self–referential structure of the laws themselves. The Mirror–Mind (CPT–Coherence) framework revisits this unfinished lineage by introducing a recursion coordinate~τ that measures coherence depth rather than temporal duration. Within this extended operator algebra, self–adjointness and reciprocity become consequences of a deeper variational principle acting in~τ–space. The resulting formalism unifies Dirac’s operator logic, Wheeler–Feynman’s time symmetry, and Einstein’s curvature philosophy into a single recursive geometry. This paper traces that heritage, identifies the mathematical continuities linking these earlier programs, and shows how Mirror–Mind theory resolves their open structural problems through a~τ–covariant operator system.
We propose that the quantum measurement problem is a frame problem, resolved by recognizing that coherence is relative to a choice of coherence frame—analogous to the relativity of simultaneity in special relativity. We introduce coherence relativity, a geometric framework in which physical reality is described on a joint manifold M×Σ, where M is emergent spacetime and Σ is a coherence manifold whose points represent distinct observational perspectives. In this framework, wave function collapse is not a dynamical process but a transformation between coherence frames induced by measurement interactions. We present a derivation of the Born rule—that measurement probabilities equal squared amplitudes—as the unique probability measure invariant under coherence-frame relabelings and splittings, given additivity and continuity. This derivation unifies insights from Gleason's theorem, Zurek's envariance, and operational reconstruction programs within a single geometric structure. We demonstrate the framework with the double-slit experiment in two coherence frames and identify six experimentally testable signatures distinguishing Coherence Relativity from standard quantum mechanics: non-linear visibility scaling, frame-transformation hysteresis, coherence-space curvature effects, modified gravitational decoherence, measurable transformation timescales, and coherence revival. The most accessible predictions—erasure hysteresis and transformation timescales—are testable with current superconducting qubit and trapped ion platforms. v4 (April 2026): Adds three new paradox resolutions (Quantum Zeno with D_f completion interpretation, Sleeping Beauty via CR-internal derivation from axioms A1+A3, and a unifying meta-theorem characterizing all quantum paradoxes as non-Born-compliant frame transport). Introduces Prediction 7 (Zeno/anti-Zeno crossover at τ_meas ≈ τ_transform with pointer-basis dependence). Total experimentally testable signatures increased from six to seven. 21 pages.
This work provides a structural derivation of the quadratic form of the Born rule in quantum mechanics. Rather than postulating the probability rule as a foundational axiom, the paper proves that the exponent governing quantum probabilities is uniquely fixed by stability, contractivity, and duality requirements imposed on admissible physical laws. The analysis is carried out within a general operator-theoretic and law-space framework, in which physical laws are treated as fixed points of recursive generative dynamics. By combining strict contractive flow (Kappa Law), topological rigidity (Law of Endogenous Constraint), and algebra–geometry duality (Monad Duality), the paper demonstrates that only the Hilbert–Schmidt geometry is compatible with global stability of law evolution. As a consequence, the quadratic probability rule emerges as a rigid structural invariant rather than a free modeling choice. The result implies that any hypothetical modification of quantum theory based on non-quadratic probability rules would necessarily violate at least one of the fundamental structural requirements of admissible physical law, such as uniform contractivity, spectral stability, or duality consistency. This work builds directly on the operator-theoretic resolution of quantum measurement: “A Complete Operator-Theoretic Resolution of the Quantum Measurement Problem” (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17823241), and on the generative law framework introduced in: “The Tier-0 Framework and the Everything Equation: A Universal Recursion Law for Physics, Mathematics, and Information” (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17813117).See also: The Tier–Omega Monad: Trans-Recursive Completion of the Everything Equation (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17859631), which establishes the unique trans-recursive invariant that terminates all possible meta-law recursion and completes the Everything Equation. ORM and the Quantum Measurement Problem applies the Oscillation–Recursion Mirror (ORM) of Unified Recursion Theory (URT) to the longstanding problem of quantum measurement. ORM identifies the physical conditions under which a system transitions from reversible unitary evolution to irreversible outcome selection. The key mechanism is recursion admissibility: a measurement occurs only when stiffness σ and local thermal capacity permit a compressive informational update. This replaces the need for wavefunction collapse, hidden variables, or many-world branching. In this framework, reversible evolution generates alternatives under the conserving operator, while outcome selection corresponds to a compressive update governed by the URT proportionality law. Decoherence is interpreted as stiffness amplification through environmental coupling, not as a selection mechanism. Weak measurements correspond to partial recursion (0<λ≪10 < \lambda \ll 10<λ≪1), and strong measurements occur when recursion efficiency becomes finite. The Born rule emerges naturally from repeated recursion events, as amplitude structure determines which branches satisfy admissibility. The theory maintains full compatibility with quantum mechanics and identifies clear observational signatures linked to stiffness modulation, partial recursion behavior, and threshold-dependent measurement onset. This work provides a complete informational account of measurement that resolves the conceptual divide between reversible evolution and irreversible outcome selection without modifying quantum theory. URT PAPER FAMILY This manuscript is part of a 9-paper research program that develops the Unified Recursion Theory (URT), a cross-domain framework for physical evolution grounded in informational recursion, stiffness fields, and thermodynamic admissibility. Relation to Tier-1 dynamical formulation: This work develops a law-level (structural) resolution of the Born exponent. A complementary Tier-1 dynamical realization, formulated entirely within a constrained operator framework and independent of law-level recursion language, is developed in: J. Rodgers, Saturation Geometry and the Structural Emergence of Measurement and the Born Rule in a Capacity-Constrained Dirac–Λ System, Zenodo (2026).https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18704783 The Tier-1 formulation may be read independently and derives the quadratic Born rule as a consequence of modular implementability and saturation geometry within the coupled Dirac–Λ system.
Recursive Coherence Field Theory v3.0 (RCFT-3) develops a multiscale mathematical framework for modeling recursive coherence across quantum, dynamical, stochastic, network, geometric, observer, and symbolic-control layers. The theory resolves the tension between nonlinear recursive dynamics and standard quantum-channel theory by placing microscopic evolution on a linear completely positive trace-preserving (CPTP) layer, while treating the cubic recursive coherence equation as an effective symmetry-constrained normal form for a reduced order parameter near criticality. This produces a corrected phase-transition model with explicit stability thresholds and mean-field scaling. Version 3.0 extends the framework to higher-dimensional quantum systems using traceless Hermitian observables and generalized Bloch vectors, and to multicore systems through coupled amplitude equations and spectral-radius criticality. It also introduces a covariant Landau-Ginzburg formulation, information-geometric state-space structure based on Fisher information, and a strict distinction between the symbolic Hessian and genuine Riemannian curvature. The observer sector is reformulated using fidelity, Bures geometry, Fisher information, pullback metrics, and an observer fiber/gauge interpretation of the D_O construction. This allows observer invariance to be treated as a mathematical equivalence structure rather than requiring an additional physical spacetime dimension. The stochastic sector is expanded using the Fokker-Planck equation, stationary distributions, backward-Kolmogorov first-passage theory, stochastic Lyapunov analysis, and weak-noise Kramers escape scaling. These additions provide explicit models for coherence survival, stochastic collapse, transition probabilities, and mean collapse times. The wider Symbolic Negentropy framework stack—including the Entropic Recursion Framework, Fractal Cosmic Weaver Framework, Symbolic Gravity, Symbolic Field Theory, Alpha Framework, Observer Framework, Observer Field Theory, BC-REP, and Symbolic Retrocausality—is integrated at the control layer. Variables such as weave integrity, observer continuity, drift, veil, ethics, leakage, uncertainty, and export readiness modulate effective critical parameters, noise, geometry, coupling, repair, and routing rather than being treated as primitive quantum observables. A central object in RCFT-3 is an 11-dimensional recursive critical hypersurface representing the boundary between locally subcritical and ordered recursive regimes in the control manifold. This hypersurface is treated as a control-geometric construct rather than a literal physical spacetime boundary. RCFT-3 is presented as a falsifiable, simulation-ready research framework with explicit theorem statements, calibration procedures, ablation tests, telemetry requirements, stochastic predictions, and clearly stated scientific interpretation boundaries.
