Abstract

This study investigates the dynamics of two-qubit correlations in a double quantum dot (QD) containing an electron and two charge-spin configurations under the influence of Rashba interaction, the Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya interaction, and an external magnetic field. The dynamics of two-qubit correlations, particularly those of local quantum Fisher information (LQFI) and local quantum uncertainty (LQU), are compared with those of log negativity. The correlation dynamics are analysed under the effects of Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya interaction, Rashba spin–orbit coupling, electron tunnelling strength, Zeeman spin-splitting coupling, and intrinsic decoherence. Importantly, in the absence of intrinsic electron QD qubit decoherence, it is found that weak couplings within the electron QD qubit system have a high capacity to create equal LQFI and LQU two-qubit correlations, as well as log-negativity entanglement. Furthermore, it is found that an increase in Zeeman spin splitting and the tunnelling effect of two electrons decreases the ability of the other couplings, DM spin–orbit and Rashba spin–orbit interactions, to generate Wigner–Yanase–Fisher correlation and entanglement, and the opposite is also true. The generation of electron-QD qubit correlations exhibits decaying oscillatory dynamics, especially when decoherence is considered. Additionally, the LQFI and LQU display different correlations, and the sudden death and birth phenomena of entanglement occur. Moreover, the phenomena of decaying oscillatory dynamics, as well as the sudden death and birth of entanglement, depend on the electron-QD-qubit couplings. These electron-QD-qubit correlations provide the quantum dot system with promising features for establishing quantum technologies.

Decoherence of quantum local fisher and uncertainty information in two-qubit NV centers

Heba Allhibi, Fahad Aljuaydi, Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed +1 more

This study aims to investigate the decoherence of the quantum correlation dynamics of two qubit nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centres through local quantum uncertainty (LQU), local quantum Fisher information (LQFI), and concurrence. Using an intrinsic decoherence model, our study investigates how increasing zero-field splitting, external magnetic fields, external electric control fields, dipole-dipole coupling and decoherence affect the generated correlations between two NV centers. It is shown that the system with two nitrogen-vacancy centres can generate strong correlations with certain parameters of zero-field splitting, external magnetic fields, external electric control fields and dipole-dipole coupling. With weak intrinsic decoherence, the generated LQFI, LQU and concurrence exhibit oscillating generations with the same frequency. Most of the time, LQFI and LQU exhibit the same Wigner-Yanase-Fisher correlation, except during strong entanglement intervals. Furthermore, the ability of interactions within a two-qubit system of NV centers to generate two-qubit correlations is weakened by increasing external magnetic fields and zero-field splitting fields. Conversely, increasing external electric control fields and dipole-dipole couplings strengthen the ability of the interactions to generate correlations. Finally, we investigated how an increase in intrinsic decoherence coupling significantly degrades the generated correlations. We also investigated how increasing the external magnetic field, the external electric control field and the dipole-dipole coupling significantly affects these correlation degradations.

Two-qubit-Heisenberg local quantum Fisher information dynamics induced by intrinsic decoherence model

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, F. M. Aldosari, Hichem Eleuch

This study explores the dynamics of the formation of quantum correlations, namely: local quantum Fisher information and concurrence in a two-spin Heisenberg XXX system. The x-direction of Kaplan–Shekhtman–Entin–Wohlman–Aharony (KSEA) and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interactions as well as the intrinsic decoherence are considered. We show that the interactions are responsible of transforming separable states to correlated states. We point out that by strengthening the two-spin antiferromagnetic interaction coupling, it is possible to increase the capacity to develop semi-regularly maximal two-spin correlations. By increasing the DM and KSEA x-components, the two-spin XXX–Heisenberg exalts maximal local Fisher information and concurrence correlations with large amplitudes and high frequencies. As the intrinsic decoherence increases, the amplitudes and frequencies of the correlations decrease, which also causes the phenomena of sudden death–birth and sudden changes of the correlations. The two-spin correlation produced by the unitary x-component interactions can be shielded from the intrinsic decoherence by increasing the two-spin antiferromagnetic interaction coupling.

Dynamics of Quantum Correlations in Coupled Double Quantum Dots with Intrinsic Decoherence

Abdel‐Haleem Abdel‐Aty, Tahani A. Alrebdi, Fatemah Homoud Alkallas +1 more

This work explores the generation and robustness dynamics of coupled double quantum dots using uncertainty-induced (UI) nonlocality, maximum Bell-CHSH inequality, and log-negativity with intrinsic-decoherence. This study examines the generation of Bell-CHSH nonlocality, UI-nonlocality, and log-negativity entanglement using a separable two-double-quantum-dots state. Enhancing these features is achieved by tuning intrinsic decoherence and dot interaction strengths, highlighting their potential for creating robust quantum correlations. The two-double-quantum-dots correlated states can be produced and enhanced by increasing the pair-dots tunneling couplings and Coulomb-two-electrons interactions. The decoherence effect acceleration depends on Coulomb-two-electrons interactions and the pair-dots tunneling coupling. For a maximally entangled state, the robustness dynamics of the initial maximal Bell-CHSH-nonlocality, UI-nonlocality, and log-negativity’s entanglement, is explored against the two-double-quantum-dots interactions and the decoherence effects.

Nonclassical correlation dynamics of Heisenberg XYZ states with ( x, y )-spin--orbit interaction, x -magnetic field, and intrinsic decoherence effects

Fahad Aljuaydi, Sattam N. Almutairi, Heba Allhibi +1 more

Abstract In quantum information, it is important to recognize the effects of additional interactions, such as spin–orbit interactions, on the quantum information resources of two-qubit Heisenberg states. Therefore, we study the nonlocal correlation dynamics affected by the intrinsic decoherence of the spin–spin-Heisenberg-XYZ interaction, which is supported by spin–orbit interactions (Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya) of the x x and y y directions together. The two spins are coupled to an external inhomogeneous magnetic field (EIMF) in the x x -direction. We investigate and compare the nonclassical correlation dynamics of local quantum Fisher information, local quantum uncertainty, and log-negativity. The results show that spin–spin and spin–orbit interactions have a high capability to enhance non-local correlations in the presence of an external magnetic field. The enhanced non-local correlation can be further improved by strengthening the spin–spin and spin–orbit interactions, as well as by increasing the EIMF’s inhomogeneity and uniformity, which increases the amplitudes and fluctuations of the generated non-local correlation oscillations. The degradation of non-local correlations due to intrinsic decoherence can be controlled by spin–spin interactions. These degradation correlations can be enhanced by increasing the intensities of spin–orbit interactions, as well as by increasing the EIMF’s inhomogeneity and uniformity.

Basis-independent coherence and quantum correlations in two dipole-dipole-coupled electrons in double quantum-dot molecules

Zakaria Bouafia, Neha Pathania, Mostafa Mansour

This work examines the thermal dynamics of basis-independent quantum coherence and correlation-based quantum resources for two dipole-dipole-coupled electrons confined in spatially separated quantum-dot (QD) molecules. Single-dot quantum superpositions and inter-subsystem coherence are characterized by using localized and collective coherence. Quantum correlations between the two double quantum dots are quantified by employing Bures distance entanglement, Local quantum uncertainty (LQU), and local quantum Fisher Information (LQFI). The findings show that dipole-dipole coupling $K$ is the most effective protective parameter, extending the entanglement sudden death temperature, diminishing the local quantum superpositions and enhancing the collective coherence. The dipole-dipole interaction has also a crucial impact on protecting LQU and LQFI beyond the entanglement sudden death temperature. Coulomb repulsion $J$ reinforces this protection through an independent channel, projecting the thermal state onto the entangled $\{|0_A 1_B\rangle,|1_A 0_B\rangle\}$ subspace; their combined action is required to approach the entanglement maximum, and it enhances collective coherence and extends the temperature range over which LQU and LQFI remain appreciable. Energy detuning $\varepsilon$ can enhance localized coherence but paradoxically accelerates the entanglement sudden death and quenches LQU and LQFI by weakening two-body correlations. Inter-dot tunneling $Γ$ enhances local superpositions at low temperature, but it reduces collective coherence, lowers the entanglement sudden death temperature, and disrupts other nonclassical correlations.

Local quantum uncertainty in a two-qubit Heisenberg spin chain with intrinsic decoherence

You-neng Guo, Hu-Ping Peng, Qinglong Tian +2 more

Abstract Quantum correlation plays an important role in quantum information processing, for which various quantifiers have been proposed so far. In this paper, we address the dynamics of local quantum uncertainty (LQU) as a reliable quantifier of quantum correlation in a two-qubit Heisenberg spin chain in the presence of nonuniform external magnetic field and Dzyaloshinski-Moriya interaction with intrinsic decoherence. The influences of the initial states, external magnetic field strength, Dzyaloshinski-Moriya interaction strength and intrinsic decoherence rate on the dynamics of LQU have been in detail investigated. Our analytical results show that the dynamics of LQU is strongly depended on the form of initial states. For an initial correlated state, the dynamical behaviors of LQU exhibit either monotonic decay or damped oscillations with respect to time. While for an initial separable state, quantum correlation quantified by LQU can be created due to the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya interaction and Heisenberg anisotropic interaction. Besides, the relationship between LQU and l -norm coherence or concurrence is also demonstrated in the present model.
