Abstract

In this article, we present a method for finding quantum stationary states of the Klein–Gordon–Fock (KGF) equation using neural networks (NNs). The method has been tested on two well-known systems: a relativistic spinless particle in a Coulomb potential, and a one-dimensional relativistic harmonic oscillator. The results of training the neural network for these two systems are presented, as well as the analysis of the training process. The neural network method shows a good agreement with analytical calculations (if they can be found explicitly), providing a promising approach for solving more complex problems in quantum physics and quantum chemistry.

A Neural Network Approach to Solve the Relativistic Wave Equation for Spinless Particles

A. M. Kalitenko

Abstract In this work, we discuss new ways to incorporate physical information into neural network training and describe modern neural network methods for quantum systems and their extensions. We describe an algorithm for solving the stationary Klein–Gordon–Fock equation using the neural network quantum states (NNQS) method. The method has been tested on two well-known systems: a relativistic spinless particle in a Coulomb potential and a charged particle in a uniform magnetic field.

Creation and Training of Quantum Neural Networks Based on Grover’s Algorithm

Andrey Vladimirovich Ostroukh

This paper discusses the possibility of creating quantum neural networks trained using Grover’s algorithm. The purpose of this work is to combine the learning process of the neural network, produced using Grover’s algorithm, and the functional structure of the neural network, interpreted as a quantum circuit. As a simple example of a neural network, to consider the concept, a perceptron was proposed with one learning parameter – the weight of a synapse entering a hidden neuron.

А. В. Васильев, A. S. Ivanov, Д. В. Сальников +3 more

The problem of computing functional integrals in quantum mechanics models is considered. Functional integrals in models of the harmonic oscillator, double well potential, and Morse potential were computed using a neural network algorithm for normalizing flows. A comparison was made with results obtained from Monte Carlo simulation.

Variational neural network approach to QFT in the field basis

Kevin Braga, Nobuo Sato, Adam P. Szczepaniak

We present a variational neural network approach for solving quantum field theories in the field basis, focusing on the free Klein-Gordon model formulated in momentum space. While recent studies have explored neural-network-based variational methods for scalar field theory in position space, a systematic benchmark of the analytically solvable Klein-Gordon ground state—particularly in the momentum-space field basis—has been lacking. In this work, we represent the ground-state wavefunctional as a neural network defined on a discretized set of field configurations and train it by minimizing the Hamiltonian expectation value. This framework enables direct comparison to exact analytic results for a range of key observables, including the ground-state energy, two-point correlators, expectation value of the field, and the structure of the learned wavefunctional itself. Our results provide quantitative diagnostics of accuracy and establish a validated foundation for extending neural-network wavefunctional methods to interacting field theories and position-space formulations.

Investigation of the relationship between the principles of statistical physics and quantum game theories in complex systems

Zhongzhi Zhang

The relationship between the principles of statistical physics and quantum game theories is an important object of interdisciplinary research aimed at studying the behavior of complex systems. The interaction of these areas of science expands our knowledge of correlations, dynamics, and optimization in multicomponent systems. The present study focuses on the study of the fundamental relationships between these approaches and their application to modeling complex systems. For this study, we developed a theoretical model that connects the key equations of statistical physics with the principles of quantum game theory. We used standard mathematical modeling methods, such as calculations based on Gibbs distributions, quantum superposition, and game theory methods adapted for multicomponent systems. The numerical Monte Carlo method was also used to test theoretical conclusions. It was found that the mechanisms describing equilibrium and phase transitions in statistical physics are closely related to the formation of strategies and optimization in the framework of quantum games. In particular, it is shown that quantum entangled states can be interpreted as analogs of collective states in statistical physics, which makes it possible to clarify the theoretical limits of price and behavioral decisions in nonlinear systems. The results are confirmed by numerical experiments demonstrating a high degree of agreement between the models and empirical data. The results obtained open up new perspectives for studying complex systems using combined approaches. The possibility of using quantum games to describe collective behavior in physical systems, such as particle dynamics in open systems or neural networks, is revealed. This study provides an understanding of the principles of interaction between statistical physics and quantum game theory, which contributes to the further development of interdisciplinary science and the application of its conclusions to real problems.
