Abstract

This paper shows a new interpretation of the Lorentz transformation as it is applicable to quasi-quanta quantum mechanics thus showing how the quasi-quanta symbolic analog topology directly translates into the quantum field via the eigen-value/eigen-vector language. Therefore, this actually unifies quantum theory with relativity through the symbolic analog topology of quasi-quanta energy number mechanics. This paper is continued by Vectroid Entangler 2

The SRQM Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics & A Tensor Study of Physical 4-Vectors

J. Bastow Wilson

Using Special Relativity (SR) as a starting point, then noting a few empirical 4-Vector facts, one can derive the Principles that are normally considered to be Axioms of Quantum Mechanics (QM). Since many of the QM Axioms are rather obscure, this seems a more logical and understandable paradigm than QM as a separate theory from SR, and sheds light on the origin and meaning of the QM Principles. For instance, the properties of SR can be “quantized by the Metric”, while SpaceTime & the Metric are not themselves “quantized”, in agreement with all known experiments and observations to-date. The SRQM or [SR→QM] Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics: A Tensor Study of Physical 4-Vectors. I also introduce the SRQM Diagramming Method: an instructive, graphical charting-method, which visually shows how the SRQM 4-Vectors, Lorentz 4-Scalars, and 4-Tensors are all related to each other. This symbolic representation clarifies a lot of physics and is a great tool for teaching and understanding. The use of 4-Vectors allows many deep results simply by noticing symmetries in the equations. 4-Vectors = 4D (1,0)-Tensors are a fantastic language/tool for describing the physics of both relativistic and quantum phenomena. They easily show many interesting properties and relations of our Universe, and do so in a simple and concise mathematical way. Due to their tensorial nature, these SR 4-Vectors are automatically coordinate-frame invariant, and can be used to generate *ALL* of the physical SR Lorentz Scalar (0,0)-Tensors and higher-rank SR Tensors. Let me repeat: You can mathematically build *ALL* the Lorentz Scalars and larger SR Tensors from SR 4-Vectors. 4-Vectors are likewise easily shown to be related to the standard 3-vectors that are used in Newtonian classical mechanics, Maxwellian classical electromagnetism, and standard quantum theory. Each 4-Vector also connects a special relativistically-related scalar to a 3-vector: ex. Temporal energy (E) & Spatial 3-momentum (p) as 4-Momentum P = (E/c,p). Why 4-Vectors as opposed to some of the more abstract mathematical approaches to Quantum Mechanics (QM)? Because the components of 4-Vectors are physical properties that can actually be empirically measured. Experiment is the ultimate arbiter of which theories actually correspond to reality. If your quantum logics and string theories give no testable/measurable predictions, then they are basically useless for real, actual, empirical physics. In this treatise, I will first extensively demonstrate how 4-Vectors are used in the context of Special Relativity (SR),and then show that their use in Relativistic Quantum Mechanics (RQM) is really not fundamentally different. Quantum Principles, without need of QM Axioms, then emerge in a natural and elegant way.

Quantum entanglement and relativity

Irena Bojic

Completing the Quantum Reconstruction Program via the Relativity Principle

W. M. Stuckey, Michael Silberstein, Timothy J. McDevitt

We explain how the disparate kinematics of quantum mechanics (finite-dimensional Hilbert space of QM) and special relativity (Minkowski spacetime from the Lorentz transformations of SR) can both be based on one principle (relativity principle). This is made possible by the axiomatic reconstruction of QM via information-theoretic principles, which has successfully recast QM as a principle theory a la SR. That is, in the quantum reconstruction program (QRP) and SR, the formalisms (Hilbert space and Lorentz transformations, respectively) are derived from empirically discovered facts (Information Invariance & Continuity and light postulate, respectively), so QM and SR are "principle theories" as defined by Einstein. While SR has a compelling fundamental principle to justify its empirically discovered fact (relativity principle), QRP has not produced a compelling fundamental principle or causal mechanism to account for its empirically discovered fact. To unify these disparate kinematics, we show how the relativity principle ("no preferred reference frame" NPRF) can also be used to justify Information Invariance & Continuity. We do this by showing that when QRP's operational notion of measurement is spatialized, Information Invariance & Continuity entails the empirically discovered fact that everyone measures the same value for Planck's constant h, regardless of their relative spatial orientations or locations (Planck postulate). Since Poincare transformations relate inertial reference frames via spatial rotations and translations as well as boosts, the relativity principle justifies the Planck postulate just like it justifies the light postulate. Essentially, NPRF + c is an adynamical global constraint over the spacetime configuration of worldtubes for bodily objects while NPRF + h is an adynamical global constraint over the distribution of quanta among those bodily objects.

Bra-Ket Duality: Unifying Symbolic and Neural Computation Through Dirac Notation

Zhi Wang, Thomas Wang

We demonstrate that symbolic computation (function invocation, pattern matching) and neural computation (transformer attention, vector operations) are not merely analogous but mathematically identical under bra-ket notation from quantum mechanics. The key insight is that both paradigms perform inner product operations to determine computational actions: symbolic systems use discrete metrics (exact name matching), while neural systems use continuous metrics (cosine similarity). We prove that symbolic tag-checking is equivalent to a single-layer neural network in the limit of zero temperature, and show that transformer attention is literally a bra-ket operator with the sandwich structure M1∣o⟩⟨o∣M2∣x⟩, where ∣o⟩⟨o∣ represents self-projection over context tokens. This unification explains why large language models can successfully perform tool-calling and symbolic reasoning: they implement differentiable versions of traditional symbolic dispatch mechanisms. We introduce DIRAC, a practical programming language that seamlessly integrates both computational paradigms, demonstrating that the theoretical unification has concrete engineering applications. Our work provides a mathematical foundation for hybrid symbolic-neural architectures and addresses critiques about the limitations of pure neural approaches by showing how system-level intelligence emerges from their composition.
