Abstract

With the rapid development of multimedia technology, the image scrambling for information hiding is severe in today's world. But, in quantum image processing field, the study on image scrambling is still few.Several quantum image scrambling schemes are in circle but, lot of it is yet to be performed. This paper presents the implementation of XOR quantum dot gate using bitwise operation to scramble an image metric. While the XOR operation has only half chance of outputting false or true (0, 1).XOR by scrambling an image so that image can be hidden immensely to avoid third party intervention. We use a non -linear method for removing the noise in this paper. .The median filterwas once the most popular nonlinear filter for removing impulse noise because of its good de -noising power and computational efficiency. Here we use 2D median filter

Quantum Circuit Design for Estimated Image Median Filter

S Alsaedi Alaa, Rasha Montaser, Usama A. Aburawash +1 more

Quantum image processing is a new branch of quantum computing that aims to adapt traditional image processing tasks and operations to the quantum computing field. Obtaining images with high accuracy is a very difficult task. Filters are used to enhance the efficiency of the image and modify digital images. There are many filtering techniques, such as median filtering, Laplacing filtering, Qaussin filtering, neighborhood average filtering, and box filtering. Currently, there are limitations in quantum median filtering techniques due to either incomplete noise recognition or computational complexity. We propose the design of an estimated image median filter with a noise tolerance threshold to remove salt and pepper noise, and finally, we design a quantum circuit that decreases the computational complexity to O( . Furthermore, the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed median filtering is feasible.

An Evolutionary Quantum Scrambling Scheme for Medical Image with NEQR Representation

Yasameen K. Hamad, Ahmed Y. Yousuf, Tayseer Salman Atia

Image scrambling methods are necessary for original image processes in applications of quantum image processing like quantum image encryption, which increases the strength of the encryption process, and the resulting image is difficult to identify and detect its details. As well as obtain a high entropy value and a histogram with a uniform peak for the encrypted image. Most researches focus on scrambling the position only or the value only; however, the quantum image scrambling researches focused on scrambling both position and value together is few.The idea of the study is developing a genetic algorithm to generate different schemes of scrambling based on the fast and elementary schemes with changing the quantum logical gate (NOT / C-Not) to get the best scheme that meets the requirements such as the cost, the complexity or the type of the image. One of the essential benefits of the proposed work is developing a general framework for the automatic generation of a suitable scrambling scheme based on image type, method, and logical circuit. The tests are simulated using MATLAB.The result confirms that hybrid value/position schemes with a C-Not gate have an entropy value close to 8 and a flat histogram. It is implicated that this framework will benefit many researchers in selecting the most appropriate scrambling method for their works.

A quantum steganography scheme using quantum wavelet transforms

Chao Gao, Ri‐Gui Zhou, Xin Li

Quantum steganography is a technology which can hide information effectively for achieving copyright protection. In this paper, a quantum steganography scheme using quantum wavelet transform and the novel enhanced quantum representation for quantum image is proposed, and this scheme can embed the secret text of size [Formula: see text] into a [Formula: see text] gray-scale carrier image. In the scrambling operation, the text is scrambled by the scrambling circuit including bit-reverse, quantum equal and CNOT gate to improve its security. Before embedding, the carrier image is first transformed by 1-level quantum Haar wavelet transform, and then its low-frequency part is divided into blocks. The simulation results suggest that the proposed scheme has good performance in visual quality and robustness. Finally, through the analysis of circuit complexity, the scheme has low complexity O(n).

Quantum color image encryption: Dual scrambling scheme based on DNA codec and quantum Arnold transform

Tao 涛 Cheng 程, Run-Sheng Zhao, Shuang Wang +2 more

Abstract In the field of Internet, an image is of great significance to information transmission. Meanwhile, how to ensure and improve its security has become the focus of international research. We combine DNA codec with quantum Arnold transform (QArT) to propose a new double encryption algorithm for quantum color images to improve the security and robustness of image encryption. First, we utilize the biological characteristics of DNA codecs to perform encoding and decoding operations on pixel color information in quantum color images, and achieve pixel-level diffusion. Second, we use QArT to scramble the position information of quantum images and use the operated image as the key matrix for quantum XOR operations. All quantum operations in this paper are reversible, so the decryption operation of the ciphertext image can be realized by the reverse operation of the encryption process. We conduct simulation experiments on encryption and decryption using three color images of “Monkey”, “Flower”, and “House”. The experimental results show that the peak value and correlation of the encrypted images on the histogram have good similarity, and the average normalized pixel change rate (NPCR) of RGB three-channel is 99.61%, the average uniform average change intensity (UACI) is 33.41%, and the average information entropy is about 7.9992. In addition, the robustness of the proposed algorithm is verified by the simulation of noise interference in the actual scenario.

Multi-Channel Quantum Image Scrambling

Fei Yan, Yiming Guo, Abdullah M. Iliyasu +2 more

Image scrambling is a technique used for confidential storage and transmission as well as for image information hiding. In this study, we propose a multi-channel quantum image scrambling method, which applies both color and geometric transformations of an image. This is a simple and reliable method for transforming a meaningful quantum image into a meaningless or disordered one. We performed two simulation experiments, which demonstrated the efficiency and flexibility of the proposed method. Previous studies mainly developed scrambling strategies for grayscale quantum images, whereas the proposed method is effective for the color image scrambling in the quantum computing domain.
