EXPLANATION, IN EVTD2 THEORY, OF ENIGMATIC RESULTS ON A SINGLE PARTICLE IN MACH-ZEHNDER INTERFERENCE

Abstract

This paper continues the other [1] whose principal consequences are adapted for understanding the results of the experiments on two particles in balanced and unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometers. The “walkers” (liquid drops) from the very interesting experimentation [2] also constitute one of the bases of these reflections as well as the EVTD 2 entities theory. They rebound on a substrate, of same liquid subjected to intense vibration. The pilot or vide waves of De Broglie – Bohm associated to substratum-substratum (quantic ether) of EVTD 2 entities theory allow to set out coherent explanations of the observed results. The output after the S 2 separator is programmed (without a real choice). It depends on the energetic state proposed to particle to one or the other of sensors, for any travelled path. Keywords: single particle, Mach-Zehnder Interference

RAUCH INTERFEROMETER EXPERIMENTS ON NEUTRON ONE BY ONE –EXPLANATION PROPOSITION IN EVTD2 THEORY

Ileana Constanta Rosca, Michel Conte

This paper continues the others [1 and 2] whose principal consequences are adapted in the tentative to understand the interfaces of a particle (neutron) for the Rauch experiments in an adapted Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The original experiments [3] are correlated with EVTD 2 entities theory. The associated waves (which can further become pilots) are generated by moving corpuscles in the substratum (quantic ether) of above mentioned theory. They allow advocating the pre oriented output direction to the last separator. The associated waves are not “vide” but energetic, of electromagnetic type. Many conjunctures are established, mostly at the levels of the two separators and in the manner to modify one path, as for a neutron in transit. NEW APPROACHE OF EXPERIMENTS ON ENTANGLED PARTICLES IN FRANSON INTERFEROMETERS THROUGH THE EVTD2 THEORY

Ileana Constanta Rosca, Michel Conte

This paper continues the others [1-3] whose principal consequences are adapted for understanding the results of the experiments on two particles in Franson interferometers. The EVTD 2 entities theory promotes the existence of associated waves (that could further become pilot waves), which are generated by corpuscles in movement in substratum that is a quantic ether. They advocate the pre-oriented direction of the output at the last separator. The associated waves are not “vide” but energetic of electromagnetic type. REBOUNDS OR SHOKS-IMPULSIONS OF MOVING CORPUSCLES AND PHOTONS GENERATING ASSOCIATED TRAJECTORY GUIDE WAVES: IN CLASSIC, QUANTIC PHYSICS AND IN EVTD2 THEORY

Michel Conte, Ileana Constanta Rosca

The “walkers” (liquid drops) that rebound on the surface of the liquid subjected to intense vibration, as described by the very interesting experiments [1] are suggesting many reflections in classic, quantic physics and in EVTD 2 theory. These experiments are in good agreement with the EVTD 2 physics . In this study were able, again to wave-corpuscle duality, to guide waves but also to offer a different interpretation of the Young’s fringes that could be arrival or forbidden bands of corpuscles and even of photons. These roads would be generated by interference of the associated waves to particles or photons movements. Their resulting fields would act as guiding waves that remotely the preferential routes up to the receiving screen. The musical Mach-Zehnder interferometer

Andrew J. P. Garner

The phenomenon of interference lies at the heart of quantum physics, and is responsible for many of the unusual aspects of quantum behaviour that deviate from our everyday expectations. Though classical physics allows for waves (e.g. of sound) to interfere, quantum theory allows for interference effects also to affect single particles. One device that demonstrates this experimentally is the Mach-Zehnder interferometer: here a single particle (e.g. a photon) travels down one of two possible paths, and quantum interference between the two paths affects the final position where the particle arrives. In this article, I propose a mechanism to musically demonstrate quantum single-particle interference: the musical Mach-Zehnder interferometer. This new quantum musical instrument makes use of two independently operated electronic keyboards, whose outputs are interfered according to the rules of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer. I discuss the musical possibilities this instrument enables, and outline a method to construct it via software simulation.

A modified Mach-Zehnder experiment to test the applicability of quantum theory to single-particle experiments

Kristel F. L. Michielsen, Th. Lippert, M. Richter +3 more

We propose a modified single-particle Mach-Zehnder interferometer experiment in which the path length of one arm may change (randomly or systematically) according to the value of an external two-valued variable x, for each passage of a particle through the interferometer. Quantum theory predicts an interference pattern that is independent of the sequence of the values of x. On the other hand, corpuscular models that reproduce the results of quantum optics experiments carried out up to this date show a reduced visibility and a shift of the interference pattern depending on the details of the sequence of the values of x. The key question to be answered in a real laboratory experiment is: Which interference pattern is observed? Despite the general believe that quantum theory might be used to describe all single particle experiments, this is an interesting question to be answered since in the proposed experiment the experimental conditions not only continuously change but they might also have causal effects on the passage of the photons through the interferometer. The proposed experiment can be used to determine to what extent quantum theory provides a description of observed events beyond the usual statistical level.

Quantum interference in an asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer

Alessandro Trenti, Massimo Borghi, Mattia Mancinelli +3 more

Abstract A re-visitation of the well known free space Mach-Zehnder interferometer is reported here. The coexistence between one-photon and two-photons interference from collinear color entangled photon pairs is investigated. Thisarises from an arbitrarily small unbalance in the arm transmittance. The tuning of such asymmetry is reflected in dramatic changes in the coincidence detection, revealing beatings between one particle and two particle interference patterns. In particular, the role of the losses and of the intrinsic phase imperfectness of the lossy beamsplitter are explored in a single-port excited Mach-Zehnder interferometer. This configuration is especially useful for quantum optics on a chip, where the guiding geometry forces photons to travel in the same spatial mode.
