Abstract

In this letter, a novel quantum wireless network communication (QWNC) scheme based on multi-qubit Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state is proposed. First, we deduce a general formula for the multi-user QWNC, which can greatly reduce the computational complexity and resource consumption. Second, a self-organized bilayer network architecture, as well as the corresponding communication protocol, are presented to ensure the rapid and steady transmission of quantum information. Finally, the advantages of our scheme are described based on the analysis of communication efficiency and security.

Quantum wireless network communication based on cluster states

Yu‐Guang Yang, Shengnan Cao, Yi‐Hua Zhou +1 more

Due to the high security of quantum transmission and the more flexible and economical implementation of wireless communication, quantum wireless network communication attracts lots of attention. Because of the high entanglement persistence and robustness of cluster states against decoherence and loss, we investigate the application of cluster states in quantum wireless network communication (QWNC) and propose several kinds of QWNC schemes based on 1D, 2D and 3D cluster states, respectively. Finally we propose a QWNC scheme under the bilayer quantum network architecture. Comparing with other multi-hop teleportation schemes, it is unnecessary for the intermediate nodes to perform entanglement swapping to establish the required entanglement. The computational complexity is independent of the number of intermediate nodes and cluster states are allocated on demand, thus reducing the computational complexity and resource consumption largely.

Multi-Hop Quantum Communication Based on Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger States and Teleportation

Na Chen, Shuangshuang Shuai, Bin Yan +2 more

Quantum teleportation faithfully transfers the quantum state of a physical system, instead of the system itself, which underlies the proposal of global quantum communication network. In this paper, we propose a faithful multi-hop quantum communication scheme. In a quantum network, different types of Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states are previously shared on quantum links. To implement qubits transmission, the sender and intermediate nodes perform quantum measurements in parallel, and then send their measurement results and the types of previously shared GHZ states to the receiver independently. A general formula is deduced for the receiver, who chooses an appropriate unitary operation to perform on the local particle, the original qubit can be retrieved. Our scheme shows advantages in quantum communication delay.

Quantum Secret Sharing on GHZ in Multi-user Quantum Communication Network

Zhao-jie Gong

The quantum secret sharing scheme can be implemented within realistic, highly secure multi-user communication network, using Greenberger Horne Zeilinger(GHZ) states. The quantum communication network marries a variety of GHZ states to well establish the secure key distribution system employed in conjunction with the nodes and control centers.Compared with the classical quantum cryptography,it is theoretically proved that an eavesdropper Eve invariably introduces errors within communication network if she wants to gain useful information. The nodes and control centers must find Eve to guarantee the security of the network.

Quantum Wireless Network Private Query With Multiple Third Parties

Na Li, Jian Li, Xiu‐Bo Chen +1 more

With the development of quantum wireless networks, the practical application of quantum private query (QPQ) should conform to the features of quantum wireless networks to achieve any-to-any query, and QPQ requires a new query mechanism. We first propose a scheme for a network private query in a quantum wireless network with multiple third parties, in which any user can query any database with the assistance of the third parties, by measuring each of the distant nodes that initially share entanglement with each other. The required entanglement among these nodes is established by the third-party intermediate node equipped with GHZ generator using multi-qubit GHZ states. A bilayer network topology, as well as the corresponding private query protocol, ensures the rapid and secure private query. Under the protection of the multi-qubit GHZ state's quantum correlation, the privacy of Alice and Bob is protected from the third parties' fake entangled attack and external attack, and they cannot obtain the privacy of each other by taking quantum memory attack. The performance parameters of the proposed scheme are described based on the analysis of classical wireless communication cost and communication delay.

Bidirectional Quantum Communication through the Composite GHZ-GHZ Channel

Shuangshuang Shuai, Na Chen, Bin Yan

This paper solved the problem of transmitting quantum bits (qubits) in a multi-hop and bidirectional way. Considering that the Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states are less prone to the decoherence effects caused by the surrounding environment, we proposed a bidirectional quantum communication scheme based on quantum teleportation and the composite GHZ-GHZ states. On a multi-hop quantum path, different types of GHZ states are previously shared between the adjacent intermediate nodes. To implement qubit transmission, the sender and intermediate nodes perform quantum measurements in parallel, and then send their measurement results and the types of previously shared GHZ states to the receiver independently. Based on the received information, the receiver performs unitary operations on the local particle, thus retrieving the original qubit. Our scheme can avoid information leakage at the intermediate nodes and can reduce the end-to-end communication delay, in contrast to the hop-by-hop qubit transmission scheme.
