Abstract

We investigated the dynamics of entanglement between atoms successively passing a cavity and interact with a thermal cavity field. We considered the situation when atoms are initially prepared in a pure entangled state. Using the exact solution of density matrix evolution we calculated the negativity for different values of cavity mean photon numbers. We shown the possibility to save the initial atomic entanglement even for a thermal cavity field with relatively high temperature.

Control atomic entanglement by the initial atomic coherence

Eugene K. Bashkirov

We study the entanglement properties of a pair of two-level atoms going through a thermal cavity one after another. The initial joint states of two successive atoms that enter the cavity are coherent or entangled. Using the exact solution of density matrix evolution equation we calculated the negativity for different values of cavity mean photon numbers. We shown the possibility to save the initial atomic entanglement even for a thermal cavity field with relatively high temperature.

Entanglement of atoms passing consecutively through one-mode cavity

Eugene K. Bashkirov

In this paper we investigated the entanglement dynamics of a pair of two-level atoms passing through a vacuum or thermal cavity one after another. We assumed that two atoms were initially prepared in separable coherent or entangled states. Using the exact solution of the density matrix evolution equation we calculated the time dependence of negativity for models with one-and two-photon interaction between atoms and the cavity field. For the two-photon model we took into account the dynamical Stark shift. We have found that the degree of atom-atom entanglement can be controlled by the Stark shift and cavity mean photon numbers.

Entanglement between two atoms successively passing a thermal cavity taking into account detuning and atomic coherence

Eugene K. Bashkirov

The entanglement between two identical two-level atoms successively passing the thermal cavity has been investigated taking into account the detuning. The case when atoms are initially prepared in the Bell types entangled atomic states has been considered. It has been shown that for vacuum state of the cavity the presence of detuning leads to decreasing of the entanglement amplitude oscillations. We have also derived that for thermal field the increasing of the mean photon number leads to decreasing of the entanglement, but the entanglement increases as the detuning increases. For thermal field and small detuning we have established that the effect of sudden death and birth of entanglement takes place and that for large detuning such effect vanishes.

Dynamics of two Rydbeg atoms successively interacting with a detuned thermal field

Eugene K. Bashkirov

The entanglement between two identical two-level atoms successively passing a vacuum or a thermal cavity has been investigated taking into account the detuning. The cases when atoms are initially prepared in the separable two-atom or Bell type entangled atomic states have been considered. It has been shown that thermal field can produce the entanglement between Rydberg atoms successively passing a cavity for all considered initial atomic states. For separable initial atomic states and vacuum state of the cavity the presence of detuning leads to decreasing of the degree of atomic entanglement. For entangled initial atomic states and vacuum state of the cavity the presence of detuning leads to decreasing of the entanglement amplitude oscillations. DYNAMICS OF TWO-LEVEL ATOMS INTERACTING WITH THERMAL FIELD FOR ENTANGLED INITIAL ATOMIC STATES

Eugene K. Bashkirov, Alevtina Solovieva, Michail S. Mastyugin

In this paper the entanglement dynamics for system of two two-level atoms interacting with a mode of thermal electromagnetic field in lossless cavity has been investigated. Initial atomic states are the entangled Bell type states. Using the full set of eigenvectors of the Hamiltonian of the considered model we have derived the exact solution for the density matrix for the whole system. On its basis the reduced atomic density matrix and Peres - Horodetcki parameter have been calculated. Calculating of entanglement parameter shows the possibility of high degree of entanglement even for large intensity of thermal field. Thus there is a possibility of maintenance and control over the degree of entanglement.

In the present paper the entanglement dynamics of two atoms succesively passing the one-atom maser cavity with finite temperature has been considered. The influence of the initial atomic coherence and intensity of the thermal cavity field on the degree of the atomic entanglement has been investigated. It has been shown that the interaction between atoms and cavity low-intensity thermal field leads to entanglement for all initial atomic states and the initial atomic coherence leads to decreasing of the degree of the entanglement.
