Abstract

The effects of bunching and antibunching of light field in the time-dependent and intensity-dependent J-C model are investigated. The effect of different pulse widths and light field intensity on bunching and antibunching effects of light field is discussed when the coupling of atom and light field is time-dependent.The results show that the time-evolution of second-order correlation function in this model is different from other intensity-dependent models, and that we can control the degree of bunching and antibunching effectively by controling the pulse width.

Influence of Time-dependent on Bunching and Antibunching Effects of Light Field

The time-dependent and intensity-dependent Jaynes—Cummings model are investigated under the rotating wave approximation. We consider the case that the coupling extent of atom and light field is dependent on time in order to close to the fact.By the system's vector at any time t,we can calculate the second-order correlation function of light field. The evolution the second-order correlation function of light field is discussed in the case of different widths of pulse. Here the time pulse we chose is Gaussian shape. The results show that the time-evolution of second-order correlation function in this model is different from other intensity-dependent models, and that we can control the degree of bunching and anti-bunching effectively by controling the pulse width.

The properties of the atomic dipole squeezing in the time-dependent and intensity-dependent J-C model are investigated. The effect of pulse width and cavity field intensity on the atomic dipole squeezing is discussed when the coupling of atomic and cavity field is time-dependent.The results show that the time-evolution of the atomic dipole squeezing in this model is obviously different from other intensity-dependent models, and that the degree atomic dipole squeezing can be controlled effectively by regulating the pulse widths.

Bunching and Antibunching Effects of Two Two-Level Atoms Interacting with Light Field under the Counter-Rotating-Wave Approximation

Lin Wan

In this paper, the bunching and antibunching effects of single mode light field in T C model is studied by means of the quantum theory .Under counter rotating wave approximation, the influences of the field frequency on the degree of second order coherence of field are also discussed. The relations between the coupling constants of two atoms ,the field strength and the degree of second order coherence of field are revealed.

Quantum Properties of Light Field Interacting with Two Different Atoms

Shou Zhang

The quantum properties of light in the system of two different atoms interacting with two-mode squeezing vacuum field are studied. The effect of the relative coupling constant(R=g1/g2) and initial squeezed parameter r on light squeezing effect and the photon bunching and antibunching are discussed. The numerical results show that vibration range of quantum fluctuation, the biggest squeezing depth and squeezing time and vibration amplitude of second-order coherence is affected by the initial squeezed parameter r.The variation of quantum fluctuation and second-order coherence versus time are affected by the relative coupling constant R.As a result, the squeezing time of quantum fluctuation, the time when light field is in non-classical states and the degree of photon antibunching are also affected by it,but to but it doesn′t have obvious influence on light squeezing depth.

Coherence Properties of Light Field Interacting with Two Different Atoms

Shou Zhang

The coherence properties of light in the system of two different atoms interacting with two-mode squeezing vacuum field were studied. The effect of the relative coupling constant (R=g1/g2) and initial squeezed parameter on the second-order coherence,mode-correlation properties and Cauchu- Achwartz inequality were discussed. The results show that when the initial squeezed parameter is smaller, the phone bunching and antibunching are appearing by turns, and the dgree of mode-correlation property is more stronger. When the initial squeezed parameter is bigger, the photons are appearing bunching and the degree of mode-correlation propertity is weaken. The variation of second-order coherence,mode-correlation properties and Cauchy-Schwartz inequality versus time is affected by the relative coupling constant R,but the relative coupling constant can′t change the non-classical properties of light.

Antibunching Effect of Field with a Time-varying Frequency in the Multiphoton Jaynes-Cummings Model

LU Dao-ming

Using the multiphoton Jaynes-Cummings model, the antibunching effect of the field in the system of a two-level atom interacting with the single mode coherent field through mutiphoton transition is studied. The frequency of the field varying with time in the form of sine is considered. The influences of amplitude and angular frequency of the field-frequency variation on the antibunching effect of the field are discussed by numerical calculations.Calculation results indicate that the time-evolution behavior of second-order correlation function is modulated by the field-frequency variation. The modulation intensity is enchanced as the amplitude u of field-frequency variation increases, and when the amplitude u of field-frequency variation is larger than a fixed value the time-evolution of second-order correlation function will display periodic oscillation behavior. Its oscillation frequency is in agreement with the angular frequency of field-frequency variation. The antibunching effect of field decreases as the amplitude u of field-frequency variation increases.
