Abstract

We have investigated the entangleable properties of two two-level atoms inside the dissipative cavity coupled to a single-mode radiation field under the big detuning, and discussed the influence of the initial state of the two atoms, the cavitity decay constant and the mean photon number on the entanglement degree. It have shown that if the two atoms are initially in the exicited or the ground states, they will be separate always;if the two atoms are initially in the coherent superposition of the excited and the ground states, the influence of cavity dissipation on the entanglement degree will vanish gradually with the time evolution, but the dipole-dipole interaction can enhance the entanglement degree.

Entanglement Properties of Two-atoms Interacting with Field in Dissipative Cavity

By means of the quantum theory, the interaction between two-atoms located inside a dissipative cavity and single-mode coherent field was studied. The entanglement properties, between two atoms and between two-atoms and light fields, were analyzed. In addition, the reason that the decay of the cavity field and the detuning between the atom and cavity field affect the evolution of entanglement was discussed. The results show that when there is cavity loss, entanglement between the atoms and light fields may occur, however entanglement gradually disappear in the long time limit. Also, the detuning between the atom and cavity field significantly affects the entanglement. The entanglement between two atoms initially in the maximally entangled states is gradually weakened due to the decay of the light field, but the detuning between the atom and the cavity field can inhibit this decay.

The Entanglement Properties of Two Λ-type atoms in a Dissipative Cavity

Liu Bao-ping

The entanglement between two Λ-type three-level atoms interacting with coherent field in a dissipative cavity is investigated by means of the entanglement degree of quantum conditional entropy.A solution of the master equation is obtained by super operator method. The authors discuss the entanglement between the two atoms based on two kinds of different initial states(|ψa(0),|Φa(0)) and analyze the influence of decay coefficient of the cavity and mean photon number of the field on entanglement degree. In conclusion, when the atoms are initially in entangled state |ψa(0),the evolution of the entanglement degree depends on decay coefficient of the cavity and intensity of the field. If there is absence of dissipation, the entanglement degree evolves periodically;otherwise, the entanglement degree decays sharply and approaches a stable value. The weaker the intensity of the field is,the greater the stable value becomes. The greater the decay coefficient is,the faster it reaches the stable value. But for the other initial entangled state |Φa(0),the entanglement between the two atoms doesn't evolve with the time.It implies that the entangled state |Φa(0) can be preserved in such a dissipative system.

The entanglement dynamics of two entangled atoms in the dissipative cavity

In this paper, we investigate the entanglement dynamics of two entangled two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode field in a dissipative cavity. The results show that the evolution properties of the entanglement degree of two entangled atoms depend on the initial atomic entanglement degree and form, the average photon number of the cavity field, and the cavity leakage rate. When the atoms are initially in a particular entangled state, the degree of entanglement can be amplified and not influenced by the dissipation of the cavity field.

Entanglement of two dipole-coupled qubits interacting with a detuned cavity thermal field

Eugene K. Bashkirov

This paper studies the entanglement properties in a system of two dipole-coupled natural or artificial two-level atoms not-resonantly interacting with an intensive single-mode thermal field for coherent initial atomic states. The results show that the entanglement is weaken due to the initial atomic coherence for model with detuning in contrast to the model with resonant atom-field interaction. For non-dissipative model under consideration the detuning results also in decreasing of the atom-atom entanglement in time for separable initial atomic state and intensive cavity thermal field.

Entropy property in the system of a single-mode field interacting with two two-level atoms

Zhang Li-hu, Gao‐xiang Li

The time evolution of linear entropy of atom-field coupling system, atom and field in the system of two two-level atoms inside a single-mode cavity with amplitude-damping under the condition of large detuning were investigated. The effects of the initial preparation of two atoms, the decay rate of cavity field and the mean photon number of field on all kinds of linear entropy were discussed. The results show that if both the two atoms are in their excited states or ground states, all the linear entropies equal to zero. But when the two atoms are in their coherent superposition state of excited state and ground state, the cavity dissipation will lead to the system to evolve into a mixed state, the linear entropy of atom and field exhibits periodic oscillations with damped amplitude.

The two-excitation system comprising two two-level atoms resonantly interacting with two coupled cavities is analyzed. The evolution of the state vector of the system is given when the total excitation number equals two.By means of the numerical calculations, the temporal evolution in the entanglement is investigated between the atoms, between the cavities,as well as between the atom and the local cavity mode. The influences of coupling constant between cavities on the entanglements are discussed. The results obtained show that atom and atom are separable, and the cavity-cavity entanglement and the atom-cavity entanglement are weakened with increasing of the coupling constant between cavities.
