Abstract

Based on the scheme that continuous-variable quantum teleportation suggested by Braunstein and Kimble, by tuning the displacement gain in the transformation of the output field can optimize the fidelities of teleporting single mode squeezed coherent state and squeezed vacuum state. We analysis the effect of squeezed parameter of single mode squeezed state on the fidelities.

Quantum Teleportation and Fidelity of One-mode Squeezing Vacuum State

Based on the proposal of Braunstein and Kimble,we study the quantum teleportation of one-mode squeezing vacuum state via minimum-correlation mixed state. The results show that the fidelity is low by the entangled mixed states as quantum channel. But with the proposal of adjusting the output field displacement factor's fidelity,we find that it can optimize the fidelity of squeezing state. In a certain reign of coefficients, the fidelity will almost reach to 1.

The dependence of fidelity on the squeezing parameter in teleportation of the squeezed coherent states

Jingtao Zhang, Guangqiang He, Li-Jie Ren +1 more

This paper investigates an analytical expression of teleportation fidelity in the teleportation scheme of a single mode of electromagnetic field. The fidelity between the original squeezed coherent state and the teleported one is expressed in terms of the squeezing parameter r and the quantum channel parameter (two-mode squeezed state) p . The results of analysis show that the fidelity increases with the increase of the quantum channel parameter p , while the fidelity decreases with the increase of the squeezing parameter r of the squeezed state. Thus the coherent state ( r = 0) is the best quantum signal for continuous variable quantum teleportation once the quantum channel is built.

Improving the fidelity of continuous—variable quantum teleportation by tuning displacement gain

刘金明, 李剑, 郭光灿

The fidelity of teleportation of continuous quantum variables can be improved by tuning the local displace-ment gain. We investigate the optimization of the fidelity for the teleportation of Schrodinger cat states, and of coherent states. It is found that the gain corresponding to the maximum fidelity is not equal to onefor the two input states in the case of the small squeezing degree of the entanglement resource, while unitydisplacement gain is the best choice for teleporting arbitrary quantum states in the case of large squeezing.

Continuous-variable quantum teleportation of squeezed coherent states

ABSTRACT We propose a setup for teleportation of continuous quantum variables which is optimized for teleportation ofsqueezed coherent states. Our scheme is a modified version of the original setup proposed by Braunstein andKimble [Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, 869, 1998] and it involves an unbalanced beam splitter on the sender's side and asingle mode squeezer on receiver's side. We show that the quality of the teleportation can be evaluated by meansof a fidelity of entanglement swapping and we prove that our modified setup and the original Braunstein-Kimblesetup are equivalent with respect to this fidelity measure. Keywords: Quantum teleportation, squeezed states, completely positive maps, fidelity 1. INTRODUCTION Quantum teleportation, a disembodied transfer of a quantum state between two distant parties, is perhaps themost remarkable and exciting development in the rapidly growing field of quantum information processing. Intheir seminal paper, Bennett et al.1 proposed a protocol for teleportation of a single qubit from the sender Aliceto the receiver Bob. The information about the teleported state is sent to Bob via dual classical and quantumEPR channels. The latter is established by a maximally entangled state shared by Alice and Bob.Recently, there has been much interest in quantum information processing with continuous quantum van-ables. Here, the focus is on systems with infinite dimensional Hubert spaces such as quantized electromagneticfield. Teleportation of continuous quantum variables was first considered by Vaidman,2 and an experimentallyfeasible setup was suggested by Braunstein and Kimble.3 Subsequent experiment4 demonstrated that theteleportation of a single mode of optical field is fully within the reach of current technology. Since then, manyauthors discussed various aspects of the teleportation,5'° including fidelity of teleportation of various quantumstates and influence of losses on the degradation of the quantum channel.Besides teleportation, many other protocols developed originally in the framework of discrete quantum van-ables, have been successfully formulated also for continuous variables. Optimizing the fidelity of continuous-variable quantum teleportation

Yun‐Jie Xia

Based on the fidelity conclusions of employing two-mode squeezed vacuum state for the entangled channel to teleport coherent state, continuous-variable quantum teleportation employing bright two-mode squeezed state for the entangled channel was studied. The results indicate that it's fidelity can be further improved by choosing appropriate parameters, in addition, we can fulfill that fidelity is 1, that is, not anamorphic quantum teleportation of coherent state under particular conditions.
