Abstract

This paper investigates an analytical expression of teleportation fidelity in the teleportation scheme of a single mode of electromagnetic field. The fidelity between the original squeezed coherent state and the teleported one is expressed in terms of the squeezing parameter r and the quantum channel parameter (two-mode squeezed state) p . The results of analysis show that the fidelity increases with the increase of the quantum channel parameter p , while the fidelity decreases with the increase of the squeezing parameter r of the squeezed state. Thus the coherent state ( r = 0) is the best quantum signal for continuous variable quantum teleportation once the quantum channel is built.

Based on the fidelity conclusions of employing two-mode squeezed vacuum state for the entangled channel to teleport coherent state, continuous-variable quantum teleportation employing bright two-mode squeezed state for the entangled channel was studied. The results indicate that it's fidelity can be further improved by choosing appropriate parameters, in addition, we can fulfill that fidelity is 1, that is, not anamorphic quantum teleportation of coherent state under particular conditions.

Optimal fidelity of teleportation with continuous variables using three tunable parameters in a realistic environment

Liyun Hu, Zeyang Liao, Sheng-li Ma +1 more

We introduce three tunable parameters to optimize the fidelity of quantum teleportation with continuous variables in a nonideal scheme. By using the characteristic-function formalism, we present the condition that the teleportation fidelity is independent of the amplitude of input coherent states for any entangled resource. Then we investigate the effects of tunable parameters on the fidelity with or without the presence of the environment and imperfect measurements by analytically deriving the expression of fidelity for three different input coherent-state distributions. It is shown that, for the linear distribution, the optimization with three tunable parameters is the best one with respect to single- and two-parameter optimization. Our results reveal the usefulness of tunable parameters for improving the fidelity of teleportation and the ability against decoherence.

The teleportation of two-mode continuous variables was performed by using two two-mode squeezed vacuum states served as quantum channel. The average fidelity and the probability density were calculated for teleportation of a two-mode squeezed vacuum state. The results indicate that increased squeezing of teleported state will lead to a loss of fidelity. The probability density of measuring result consists of the product of two bivariate normed density functions, and it shows that when the average fidelity goes up,the probability of obtaining large measurement value also increases.

Continuous-variable quantum teleportation of squeezed coherent states

ABSTRACT We propose a setup for teleportation of continuous quantum variables which is optimized for teleportation ofsqueezed coherent states. Our scheme is a modified version of the original setup proposed by Braunstein andKimble [Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, 869, 1998] and it involves an unbalanced beam splitter on the sender's side and asingle mode squeezer on receiver's side. We show that the quality of the teleportation can be evaluated by meansof a fidelity of entanglement swapping and we prove that our modified setup and the original Braunstein-Kimblesetup are equivalent with respect to this fidelity measure. Keywords: Quantum teleportation, squeezed states, completely positive maps, fidelity 1. Fidelity and security of quantum teleportation of squeezed coherent states in noisy Gaussian channels

Lavli Rana, Bhavesh Kumar Dadhich

In this paper, we investigate secure quantum teleportation (SQT) of squeezed coherent states in the presence of a noisy Gaussian environment. Unlike most previous studies that consider coherent states as the input to be teleported, we take squeezed coherent states as the information carriers and analyze how the squeezing of the input state influences the performance and security of the teleportation protocol. The quantum channel is modeled by a two-mode squeezed vacuum state shared between Alice and Bob, which interacts with a common squeezed thermal reservoir. The security of teleportation is ensured by simultaneously satisfying two conditions: a teleportation fidelity exceeding the classical limit [Formula: see text] and the existence of two-way quantum steering of the resource state. Using the covariance matrix formalism and the Lindblad master equation for open quantum systems, we study the time evolution of teleportation fidelity and Gaussian steering under the combined effects of dissipation, temperature and environmental squeezing. The results show that the squeezing of the input coherent state plays a significant role in modifying the robustness of secure quantum teleportation against environmental noise. In particular, for suitable parameter regimes, input-state squeezing can enhance the tolerance of the protocol to thermal fluctuations and de-coherence, extending the temporal range in which SQT is achievable. These findings highlight the importance of the choice of input states in continuous-variable quantum communication protocols and provide new insights for optimizing secure quantum teleportation in realistic noisy environments.
