Abstract

In small quantum netw ork,the security of communication information can be guaranteed physically by the application of quantum teleportation, the noise of quantum channel w ill be bound to interfere w ith the communication information, leading to the error of code. In order to guarantee the reliability of information communication,a routing protocol of small quantum netw ork is proposed based on quantum error correcting code. According to the routing characteristics of small quantum netw ork, corresponding routing tables are made. On the basis of these routing tables, quantum teleportation can be realized from source quantum node to the nodes w ithin one-hop or tw o-hop. Correct the errors of code resulting from noise of quantum channel based on error correcting code theory, and handle it accordingly,to ensure the reliability of communication information at data link layer. The security of the protocol is proved in theory.

Routing Protocol Research for Wireless Quantum Networks based on Resource Reservation

Xinliang Wang

In wireless quantum communication networks, existing AODV routing protocols can guarantee the stability of quantum entangled channels. However, the protocol takes a long time to establish the quantum channel on average, and it also consumes many entanglement resources. In order to solve the above problems, a routing protocol for wireless quantum networks based on resource reservation is proposed in this paper. Before the source node sends the quantum state information to the destination node, the proposed protocol estimates the quantum state information to be transmitted and writes the resource estimation value into the routing request message.A broadcast routing request message can not only satisfy the requirement of quantum data transmission, but also ensure that the number of hops is as small as possible.Simulation results show that the proposed protocol can effectively shorten the time of establishing quantum channels, reduce the consumption of entanglement resources, and improve the communication efficiency of wireless quantum communication networks. It has good practical value.

Controlled Quantum Network Coding Scheme Based on Single Controller

Shang Ta

This paper proposes a controlled quantum netw ork coding scheme based on single controller so as to control the decoding operation at the receivers for traditional quantum netw ork coding schemes. This scheme is designed based on the paradigm XQQ( Crossing Tw o Qubits) protocol, and it can control the decoding process of tw o receivers simultaneously by means of introducing the controller in controlled teleportation.Scheme analyses show that w ithout the permission of the controller, any attacker cannot decode and acquire the quantum information from the senders in this scheme, even if he can get all the information of the receivers. Thus our scheme can enhance the security of transferring quantum information in quantum netw orks.

Quantum Wireless Secure Communication Protocol

Tien-Sheng Lin, Tien-Sheng Lin, Sy‐Yen Kuo

In the wireless communication network, transmitting messages from sender to receiver may traverse several intermediate nodes. Any eavesdropper can attack in the communication channel, and any malicious intermediate node can act as receiver to intercept the message. The secure routing path must solve channel attacks and attacks in the malicious node. In the classical field, the solution of the channel attacks is conditional security and we can not provide secure communication in the routing path from sender to receiver. In the quantum field, the security of the authentication protocol is based on the laws of nature, including no-cloning theorem and quantum teleportation. According to the property of no-cloning theorem and quantum teleportation, we can use the shared quantum entangled particles between communicators for liar detection problem. In the quantum cryptography, the security of the authentication protocol is unconditional security. This paper designs the two-way secure communication protocol, which can set up the secure routing path from sender to receiver. The two-way secure communication protocol includes the sender oriented checking and the receiver oriented checking. By using quantum sharing table, these checking schemes investigate whether the routing path is secure or not. In the beginning, the sender and receiver pre-share a quantum sharing table to detect all the dishonest nodes. The quantum sharing table acts as a quantum key distribution which can not be stolen by any Eve.

A quantum key distribution protocol based on LDPC error correcting codes

Wei Jia, Ying Zhang, Hao Cheng Yu +1 more

Quantum encryption guarantees the absolute security of key distribution from the physical mechanism. However, in the process of quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum channel noise will reduce the transmission efficiency. Quantum low-density parity check (quantum LDPC) code has become a hot research topic of quantum error correcting code due to its great flexibility in the choice of code length and code rate and its dependence on sparse graphs. In order to improve the transmission reliability, a QKD protocol based on BB84 and quantum LDPC code is designed. First, we construct a quantum LDCP error correcting code. Then we utilize the error correcting code and BB84 to construct our QKD protocol. Finally, we analyze the influence of the quantum LDPC code on the proposed protocol. The results show that the key transmission efficiency of the our protocol is improved, and the validity of the QKD protocol based on BB84 and quantum LDPC codes in noisy quantum channels is verified.

Quantum Network Routing based on Surface Code Error Correction

Tianjie Hu, Jindi Wu, Qun Li

Quantum networks encounter unavoidable channel noises and erasure errors, presenting a huge obstacle in designing protocols that attain both high reliability and efficiency. Typically, quantum networks fall into two categories: those utilize quantum entanglements for quantum teleportation, and those directly transfer the actual quantum messages. In this paper, we present SurfNet, a quantum network that inherits the main advantages from both categories. It employs surface codes as logical qubits for encoding messages, and utilizes two parallel communication channels to fault-tolerantly transfer each surface code in a modular manner. Our approach of using surface codes can timely correct both operational and photon loss errors within the network, and the integration of the two channels within the network can greatly improve network throughput. For the implementation of SurfNet, we propose a novel network architecture, designed to better integrate surface codes into quantum networks. We also propose a novel error correction decoder, designed to fully utilize the modular characteristic of surface codes within our network. Simulation results demonstrate that SurfNet with its decoder significantly enhances the communication fidelity within quantum networks.
