Effect of Atomic Motion on Decoherence of Entanglement

Abstract

The parameters of atomic motion and the field mode structure are introduced into JC model. The effect of atomic motion on concurrence of two atoms is investigated, and the variation rule of decoherence property with the parameter of atomic motion is obtained. The results show that the atomic motion can give rise to obvious decoherence of entanglement. However,by choosing approximate parameters of the system, this kind of decoherence can be restrained maximally.

Effects of Atomic Motion on the Entropies and Entanglement for a JC Model with a Mixed State Input

In this article, we study the effects of the atomic motion and the field-mode structure on the entropies and entanglement of a generalized JC model. We have investigated different forms of the intensity dependent function on the evolution of the entropies and entanglement in the case of a coherent superposition state and a statistical mixture of coherent states as the initial field states. We investigate the partial entropies of the atom and field subsystems numerically. The setting of the initial state of the field-mode and the atomic motion plays an important role in the evolution of the sub-entropies and entanglement.

We discuss the dynamical properties of quantum entanglement and partial entropy for moving three-level atom interacting with single-mode quantized field inside a phase-damped cavity for more general cases. The results show that the atomic motion and decoherence effects play an important role on the evolution of the system dynamics and quantum entanglement. Moreover, we show that the phenomena of long lived nonlocal correlation and short temporal disentanglement can be generated through specific values of phase damping and atomic motion parameter.

Entanglement and Thermal Entanglement in Two-photon Model with Atomic Motion

LI Qu-lian

We investigate the entanglement and thermal entanglement between moving atom and Single-mode cavity in two-photon model by means of concurrence. It is shown that initial photons number and field-mode structure parameter affect entanglement and thermal entanglement in a certain degree. The evolution period of thermal entanglement doesn't change when the coupling constant between atom and cavity field has different values, while, the time of the system in maximum entanglement decreases when coupling constant reduces.Thermal entanglement decreases with the increase of system temperature when the temperature is under critical temperature.

A Study on Quantum Entanglement Between Two Modes in the System of One Moving Atom Interacting with the Two-Mode Squeezing Vacuum Fields

Yang Rui-fang

The quantum entanglement properties of the two-mode squeezing vacuum field interacting with the atomic motion via two-photon transition were studied based on quantum theory. The influences of atomic motion and the field structure on the quantum entanglement were investigated as the initial state of atom is in the excited state. The results showed that the degree of entanglement between two mode vacuum fields is influenced by the values of velocity of the atomic motion and the structure of the field-mode,but the periodic evolution of the entanglement properties cannot be destroyed.

By means of concurrence, we investigate the dynamics of entanglement between two initially separate atoms in succession passing through a cavity and their interaction with a Fock state field. We then analyze the effects of the atomic coherence, photon number, and atomic motion on the time evolution of atom-atom entanglement. The results show that there can be entanglement between two separate atoms, and that the threshold time for the creation of the entanglement is controllable by the photon number, atomic motion, and field-mode structure.

Quantum entanglement in a system of two moving atoms interacting with a single mode field

A.‐S. F. Obada, H. A. Hessian, Mostafa Hashem

We investigate the quantum entanglement in a system of two moving atoms interacting with a single mode field. An analytical solution for this system is obtained when both atoms are initially in the excited state and the field is in a coherent state. We study the effects of atomic motion and other parameters on the entanglement of the system and different bipartite partitions of the system (field–two atoms, atom–(field+atom)) through the tangles. The effect of atomic motion on the amount of entanglement between atoms and the field is also evaluated through the negativity. The results show that atomic motion leads to the periodic death and anabiosis of the entanglement between two moving atoms, and the time of the death and the amplitude of the anabiosis of the entanglement between two moving atoms depend on the coupling constant of two moving atoms and the parameter of the mode field.
