The time-evolution of atomic inversion in the system of negative binomial field interacting with two-level atom via intensity-dependent coupling with an additional Kerr medium is investigated by means of numerical calculations. The influences of Kerr medium and parameter of field on the atomic inversion are discussed.
The time evolution of atomic dipole squeezing in the system of single-mode field interacting with V-type three-level atom via intensity-dependent coupling in Kerr medium is studied by means of the quantum theory. The effects of the coupling constant χ and the detuning Ω on the dipole squeezing are discussed by the method of the numerical calculations. The results show that Kerr effect has decreased the atomic dipole squeezing in various degrees and proper detuning Ω is propitious to atomic dipole squeezing.
We study the interaction of a four level-atom with a single mode in a cavity, involving intensity dependent coupling with additional a kirr-like medium. The wave function is obtained when the atom is initially in superposition of its upper and ground states and the field in coherent state. We evaluate the Mandel Q parameter, phase probability distribution and the field entropy. The influence of the Kerr medium, the detuning and the presence of the intensity dependent coupling on their evolution was discussed.
