Abstract

The time evolution of atomic occupancy of single-model squeezed vacuum field interacting with two coupling atoms via intensity-dependent coupling in the Kerr medium is investigated. The influences of the Kerr medium, the interaction between atoms and the initial squeezed parameter r of field on the atomic occupancy are discussed.

?The time evolution of atomic occupancy in the system of two-mode squeezing vacuum field interacting with two coupled atoms in Kerr medium is studied by means of quantum theory. The influences of initial squeezed parameter r and coupled constant χ are discussed. The results show the periods of the collapses-revivals become short up to disappearance, as well as the amplitude of oscillations decreases with increasing the Kerr effect.

The time evolution of atomic occupancy for the system of squeezed vacuum field interacting with two coupling atoms via intensity-dependent coupling in two-photon transition are investigated. The influences of the atomic initial state, the interaction between atoms and the initial squeezed parameter of field on the atomic occupancy are discussed. The results show that periodical collapse-revival phenomenon of the time evolution of atomic occupancy appears, which is caused by the influence of the dipole-dipole interaction between atoms. The periods of the collapse-revival shortens till the collapse-revival disappears while increasing the interaction between atoms. The amplitude of oscillations decreases in increasing the initial squeezed parameter of field.

The quantum properties of the atom in the nonlinear interaction between squeezing vacuum state field and atom

Huang Yan-xia, Zhao Peng-Yi

The properties of the atomic inversion and the atomic state evolution in the intensity-dependent coupling interaction between squeezing vacuum state field and atom with an additional kerr medium are investigated by using the distance between density operators. The influences of nonlinear interaction intensity of kerr medium and the squeezing degree of initial squeezing vacuum state field on the quantum properties of the atom are discussed.
