Abstract

Two quantum identity authentication schemes based on communication network scale are proposed. One is to authenticate directly, the other is to authenticate based on the Authentication Server(AS).A characteristic in the proposal is that the authentication key can be obtained dynamically. The proposal can be realized easier. The security is guaranteed by the no-cloning theory and the dynamical features of the proposed scheme.

Cross-center Quantum Identity Authentication Scheme Based on Teleportation

Wenjie Zeng, Guihua Zeng

A cross-center quantum identity authenticatin scheme was proposed.Which was based on teleportation and quantum entanglement swapping in quantum optics. In a distributed network, the proposed scheme was realized by transmitting information in quantum channel using shared EPR pairs and exchanging necessary information in classical channel at the same time. The security of this scheme, which is guaranteed by quantum mechanism,is unconditional as the EPR quantum key distribution protocol.Compare with previous schemes, the proposed scheme overcomes some disadvantages of those simple point-to-point quantum identity authentication scheme.Because of the characteristic of cross-center extending the authentication range, the proposed scheme is more flexible and practical.

Quantum identity authentication for non-entanglement multiparty communication: A review, state of art and future directions

Nur Shahirah Azahari, Nur Ziadah Harun, Zuriati Ahmad Zukarnain

Authentication is one of the security services that assures the system’s adequate security through identification and verification. Additionally, it guarantees that the communication party is who they claim to be. In politics, the economy, banking, daily life, and other areas, quantum identity authentication is essential to guarantee the security of information in communication. The multiphoton strategy is an improved version of the single-photon approach, with higher transmission rates and longer photon travel distances via the Quantum Communication network. Despite the advantages of multiphoton, enforcing authentication on behalf of numerous participants in the quantum channel remains a problem, since existing multiphoton only considers two parties involved in secret message sharing. The issue of scalability arises here when the number of parties involved in the quantum network increases. Furthermore, an eavesdropper might hide her position among other parties and take advantage of the situation to obtain a certain information. Therefore, we require a protocol, that creates a more secure environment in term of authentication in which multiple parties may freely and openly communicate. This paper further identifies research gaps covering critical aspect on how Quantum Identity Authentication (QIA) can be realized and effectively utilized for multiphoton without entanglement based. These include suggestion of future direction to implement multiphoton in multiparty from current protocol.

A theoretical scheme for zero-knowledge proof quantum identity authentication

Wang Yu-wu, You-Bang Zhan, (1)淮阴师范学院计算机科学系,淮安 223300; (2)淮阴师范学院物理系,淮安 223300

A theoretical scheme for zero-knowledge proof quantum identity authentication is proposed by the absolutely impartial third party CA, which has been realized based on remote state preparation and assisted cloning controlled means. In the process of identification, only CA knows the information of quantum identity card and the first party Alice and the second party Bob can accomplish the quantum identity authentication without knowing it. We discuss the probability of accomplishing this job. The security of this scheme is unconditional and it is guaranteed by quantum mechanism.

Quantum authentication protocols based on entanglement swapping in distributed network

Liu Yue-qi, Kun Zhang

This paper analyzed the quantum identity authentication technology in the network environment and brought forward a scheme of quantum identity authentication based on the swapping of the EPR entanglement and analyzed its security. Thus a scheme of sharing secret key string between two sides in the distributed network environment was presented. It made use of the entanglement swapping to authenticate the identity.
